  • No KYC requirement
  • Good/large number of alts available to trade
  • good daily volume (preferably $1M+)
  • Secure from fraud/hacking

What are your favorites?

Thanks in advance

If you only want to trade altcoins pair bitcoin or ethereum, I suggest you try Binance. In Binance, you don't need to do KYC, but you need to satisfy the withdrawal limitations. You can withdraw up to 2 BTC, and I think that is enough to withdraw the profit, especially with the bitcoin price now increase so high. I don't suggest using DEX for just trading altcoins because I prefer to use CEX to trade the crypto. I guess the KYC is not a problem, but if you don't want to KYC, you can use Binance as I suggest.

KYC these days are become common for some exchanges especially if your country is strict about cryptocurrency.
There are some exchanges that you can optional submit KYC but there are some limitations just like withdrawal limit or some features of the exchange, example exhanges are FTX and Binance.
I highly suggest to try FTX exchange, they have quite high trading volume too.

No KYC requirement - Most exchanges don't require KYC for withdrawals below 2 BTC
Good/large number of alts available to trade, good daily volume, secure from fraud/hacking - Top 5 exchanges on coinmarketcap

You need to know that there are certain limitation on exchange without doing a KYC and if you are a small time trader then its good option to have but if you trade above 5 BTC then possibly you don't have any choice but to execute the KYC since it will be ask to your for your personal protection or certain verification from the exchange.

But try to see this article since the listed Dex here are good exchanges https://captainaltcoin.com/best-decentralized-cryptocurrency-exchanges/

I would say stay away from uniswap because it is incredibly expensive. I literally have 20 USDT on metamask that I can't send anywhere, right now it is about 5 to 10 dollars to send that money and we are talking about just the money we have to send, it is my money but I can't move it around because it is on erc20 and that is really screwed up. If you use places like uniswap or similar, you are going to spend a lot of money to just move it around.

If you really want DEX that means it has to be on tokens based on a chain, so you have to decide on which tokens you want to trade on, and if you can trade on a decent chain that is fine but it is not easy. I picked BSC because even at the most expensive move its 2 dollars, usually thinks costs under 1 dollars as well, so I am very fine about it. Why would I spend 10 dollars on moving money around when I can do it for 1 dollars?

If you want a list of massive tokens to trade on then uniswap is the most common hub for trading altcoins. If you can spare to spend some bucks on the gas fee then you are definitely need dex especially they don't have KYC issues since it's a dex.

I've just recently discovered a good app for trading also huge channel of coins and tokens. I've discussed this with my thread about that. You can also used wallet to connect on their partnered app like pancakeswap, Binance and many more.

Check this thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5310317.msg56123368#msg56123368) tell me you feedback. It's easy to use too like a normal exchange app.

The no.1 DEX right now with huge volume and liquidity and a lot of altcoins is only Uniswap it has no KYC since its a DEX and also secured I assure you this the only disadvantage I can see right now is the transaction fees since its running in eth blockchain and the network is congested you will spend up to $50 in just single transaction imagine I tried to trade my alts few days ago I have $15 eth balance for gas fees and I ended up only $5 and the remaining $10 goes to gas fees which unfortunately failed due to insufficient gas so I got nothing for spending $10 all failed.

Thanks, friend.  KuCoin I found actually does not have many of the alts I would like to trade. That's why I'm looking for others.

Thanks for the suggestions. Regarding Uniswap, thanks for tipping me off to the high transaction cost.  I was never really keen on Uniswap or liquidity pools in general as I had identified them already as a sort of 'fractional reserve' trading for crypto.  See my thread about it here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5273983.msg55145000#msg55145000

Is there a DEX like EtherDelta used to be in the old days, before it got hammered by Uncle Sam?

EtherDelta used to be great, since you didn't even have to create an account to trade there, and any time a new token came on the market, you could start trading it there immediately before it got listed on any other CEX.

How about 1Inch or Sushi?  Has anyone used them, and what are the fees like there? They both seem to have a lot of alts, and decent volume.  Are these exchanges based on liquidity pools also?

These exchanges are most likely similar to uniswap but lesser tokens supported. But seeing them grow, I could see that they are close to uniswap. I've used both platform also, the fees don't have much difference just slight cheaper compared to uniswap. Dex now depends on the network gas fee but the usage of their platform is superb.

There are other new dexes out there that has improved their fee consumption, well it takes time to fix this but probably someone will hit the button for this.

You can try with binance and check if your coin is there or you can select the coin to trade.

EtherDelta is similar to Uniswap and the other DEX. You need to pay a gas which I do not think that is low fee right now. But if you can accept that, you can use it to trade.

I think 1Inch and Sushi are available on the other exchange, and I see that both 1Inch and Sushi have potential to increase, but you should analyze deeper to find if that both tokens is good to buy or not.

The famous right now is Binance Dex and Uniswap so maybe you  should try to use this since so far they are the one reliable dex who have variety of option to trade on. Also I remember I used the Idex before and they are good since they have many tokens listed there so maybe try to have a glimpsed on that exchange and do your own research if that site still working since I think my last trade their is last year 2018 so kindly do a safety precaution first before doing a big trades there.

If you are not a US resident, I think that Binance is the right choice. It doesn't need KYC for a certain amount of funds you are going to withdraw until 2BTC per day (please check this again).
There, you can find so many cryptocurrencies and types of trading in easy ways. This exchange is also a top exchange with a good reputation.
And, you may also see the following lists I this link for other exchanges:

There is a list of dex in coinmarketcap that you see how much volume they have, but I'm sure you already know that. If you are just looking for ERC20 altcoins, then UNISWAP is the name.

I have not tried any other besides Polonidex and Justswap to which you can connect your tronlink wallet. But then this is for TRC tokens. Rest assured though that Swapping platforms aren't asking for KYC.

Stop to suggest Binance! He is talking about a decentralized exchange, not the opposite. Fuck you with your useless posts, stop to suggest it! Do you even know what means a decentralized platform?

@topshelfcrypto

Everything you're looking at is listed here https://coinmarketcap.com/fr/rankings/exchanges/dex/
I use Bisq myself, it doesn't have a lot of altcoins but it's perfect for my needs, I don't need thousand of useless coins
Any exchange platform asking for a KYC verification isn't a decentralized exchange by the way and Binance Dex isn't truly a DEX

Uniswap is still the top choice for DEX exchange, but the problem is that Uniswap has expensive fees over time, due to many influences such as ETH prices which are getting more expensive and network traffic is very dense. Trading just a few hundred dollars or just tens of dollars will not be worth the fees used, as the profits will still be offset by the hefty fees. You have to think about it before using uniswap.

However, for Dex that is on a BSC network like Binance DEX the fee will be much cheaper by using the BNB coin as the main coin for fee payments. The fees used are very cheap compared to uniswap on the Ethereum platform.

Binance dex pass on the requirement OP is looking in terms of volume, it's volume now is at least $1 million _https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/binance-dex/

However, I believe Binance DEX is not really decentralized, there are a lot of countries not allowed to access the site as we can read on their TOS.

I guess Uniswap is always the best choice for now with over $1 billion trading volume.

I don't know of many dex's but I've always used uniswap which for me is quite good, the only problem I have with uniswap is their high fees but I believe Ethereum blockchain high transaction fees is part of the reason why fees are high on uniswap.
I've also used etherflyer and I like them cus one can place buy or sell orders for free like it is with centralized exchanges, and the trading fees are also very much lower, but then, I don't think they have very much users or enough liquidity to day trade on the platform.

For now I highly recommend choosing Uniswap as the best decentralized exchange for trading altcoins. It is high volume, popular and has a wide
selection of altcoins for trading. These are some of the advantages possessed by Uniswap, maybe the transaction fees are high. The only weakness
that I found when using Uniswap.

Binance DEX can be used as an alternative for trading altcoins, but the weaknesses of Binance DEX are its small volume and not too many altcoins
to choose from. That's why it's no wonder Binance DEX is ranked 21st based on CMC sites.

DEX lacks features and real trading volume...
I've been using Binance for over a year and have never had KYC there. slightly off-topic from your request but I would rather suggest you use a trusted CEX like Binance.

All exchange has risk involved, even top exchange in the market can face any issues in terms of hacking, just like what We had heard before for what happened in Binance, kucoin, and more, in short We should be wise and careful in choosing the legit platform exchange. But as of the moment Binance, kucoin, and others remain good as one of the trusted and legit platform to trade in.
