Currently, there are very broad knowledge about Blockchain in some many countries because of its wide applications in every sectors. However, when it comes to cryptocurrencies, because of our difference and view when it comes to this industry, some countries aren't friendly with, so the education hasn't spread around the globe though an average person must have heard about it somewhere in the internet or by friends.
If you are looking for education about cryptocurrencies, this forum is the best place to start, follow by YouTube and you may refer to some Idemy courses online. They have been helpful especially in trading and general knowledge.

The subject that might matches in cryptocurrency is economics, and I believe that there are some countries in which cryptocurrency is discussing as a major subject in the Junior High School. If you are looking for some seminars and if you have any questions about cryptocurrency you can ask that in this forum and many people will reply to you. I've started here in this forum and gain a lot of knowledge here because of those people who is answering my questions whenever I am asking.

Give a look to Khan Academy, they had been teaching well about crypto. Next you can find many worthy ebooks on Amazon and eBay. I don't remember the subjects honestly because I only read their trial copies and never bought any books to learn about crypto because internet and this forum were enough for me to get answers to my questions.

As the above said.

https://www.khanacademy.org/economics-finance-domain/core-finance/money-and-banking/bitcoin/v/bitcoin-what-is-it

Khan Academy has a good basic series of lectures on bitcoin.

https://www.coursera.org/learn/cryptocurrency

Coursera's course is more comprehensive. The way its organized and presented is a bit obfuscated and counter intuitive. Which makes it difficult to learn and understand the lessons.

https://www.cryptologie.net/links

I haven't had a chance to read through the above links yet. They appear to be a good resource on elliptic curve cryptography which bitcoin utilizes.

In addition, udemy and edx.
They are not really degrees though but it's more of a specialty and expertise that you can add as your skill. And that means you can study other courses while studying them at the same time.

There are a lot of educational youtube videos out there that will give you a good idea as to how cryptocurrency works and it's technology, plus it's economic relevance and all. I'm not so sure if there is a specific lecture for it though but I do hope so considering the growing demand of the people to know more about it.
I was also thinking of Khan Academy but I'm not sure if they really are so I opted to not include them in my reply, though it's good since they're the leading education provider right now that is online and free.

This is a good one, they just received a donation from Elon Musk so you can expect that they are a quality educational website. If you are planning for college, Economics related courses might discuss the theoretical or general impact of cryptocurrency but it will not be the main focus. Ebooks do help, and if you are short on budget to buy one, you can get free ebooks at zLibrary. If you want the technical aspect then go to a STEM related courses.

I'd prefer to study things like that online rather than traveling with lots of money to learn them, but if you can afford traveling then make sure you travel to the righ place/school.

I think there are couple of online schools that teach about cryptocurrency, but I'm not sure if what they teach are good enough for their students, or whether the students find the teachings very useful/helpful for advancing their interests in true cryptocurrency.

You should be looking for right knowledge that will be very helpful in your crypto journey. Such knowledge must focus mostly on right development, participation, improvement of well decentralized (not centralized) cryptocurrency.

Economics is being taught to any university and you can learn the basics about the market, by that, we can easily learn how cryptocurrency works. There are learning platforms like Coursera where we can learn more deeply about cryptocurrency. Actually, there's a bunch of platforms where we can learn about cryptocurrency and can give you a certification that can be used in a real job.

In my experience, I only learned cryptocurrency here in bitcointalk.org, it's really a great platform where we can learn a lot.

I would recommend buying a book, it's much cheaper rather than applying to a certain University and take a course about cryptocurrency. Well, I mean it's easier to study cryptocurrency all by yourself since it has no complicated mathematics formula, no science stuff, just pure application on everything you could read in a book by a cryptocurrency geek.

But anyways, it depends on your likings, also in the way you'll easily absorb all of the things you should know about cryptocurrency.

I've heard of schools offering such course (not sure if it is course or subject), but I think this forum and other online resources would be enough to learn things about this industry. There's this forum in which you could interact with other people who are knowledgeable in such technology. You may also try engaging to activities involving cryptos. So I guess it would be somewhat a waste of money if you will seek subjects or course perhaps related to cryptocurrencies. Self-study is more advisable because in such way, you will be able to explore different things and key concepts in this technology. Also, I guess majority of the people here in this industry have gained knowledge thru self-exploration of cryptocurrencies which makes it a good way to do so.

Of course at first it will be difficult because there is no one to guide and give direction where to start.
but I think in this forum you can get a lot of things.
be it about projects, predictions, speculation, trading, economics, airdrop bounties and many more.
you just have to take your time to read more.

In my opinion, your decision is right want to have a career in the cryptocurrency world, because blockchain technology will be
increasingly popular in the future. So if you are serious about learning everything about cryptocurrency properly, I am sure your future
will be bright. Because now several institutions have started investing in cryptocurrency and some of the richest people in the world
have also started investing in cryptocurrency. This indicates that the demand for crypto is increasing, which means that many people are
starting to admit that crypto is indeed profitable.

If you want to learn all about crypto, then you are in the right forum. Because the Bitcointalk forum provides a lot of information about it,
you just need to be diligent in reading all the sections in this forum. And actively asking in this forum, I am sure your knowledge of cryptocurrency
will increase.

Business and marketing majors would probably be involved more when it comes to cryptocurrency itself, and from countries that are actually familiar with cryptocurrency would definitely put this as a subject for these specific courses.

In my course and in my school, as an IT student, we tackled more on the technology of blockchain itself, but we can never forget about cryptocurrency of course, having an advantage over this topic I was able to get a better grasp when we watched several clips about how cryptocurrency evolved and much much more on our next sessions.

In my place there's a subject that you can enroll so you can learn more about cryptocurrency. If its not available in your place don't worry because there's a lot of ways for you to learn on how to make money through cryptocurrency.

Books, Youtube tutorial and seminars can also be a great source of knowledge and I'm happy to know that at your young age you already want to learn more about cryptocurrency. Keep on doing that and I hope you success in your crypto journey.
Those are the most important things as well. Even though I do not like Elon Musk that much, I feel like he had a point when he said he doesn't care about colleges and universities anymore, you do not really need those to make a life for yourself.

It is about being forced and that is for people who do not have any direction in life and need to go to a school to teach him somethings that could direct them to the life. However if you know what you want to do, you are sure what you want to do and you want to work real hard, and I mean like wake up at 6 am in the morning, sleep at 2 am in the night and work in between to get better?

You can be anything you want, ANYTHING you want. You may not get hired? But you would be better than anyone else and you can prove it. You want to be an amazing blockchain developer? You can do so in 4 years of studying how to become one and you can be amazing at it, no need for college for it. That is just an example, you can be great at anything if you studied just that for 4 years.

Good idea to increase your knowledge about cryptocurrency but the problem is that school or education are close minded to the cryptocurrency they not teach to invest because they teach only to the student is to have job or to be employee in the future. Im not against to them but I will change my path because I want to continue investing crypto, stock market and build my business.

There isn’t a particular subject that I know of for sure, but I don’t think it can be a subject on its own, it might be attached to a subject like Economics, Computer Science and Technology.

Any one of these two will have blockchain and cryptocurrency as a topic in it. But, people who I know that have studied blockchain and cryptocurrency and gotten a job with it all studied about it with the help of online course, and some of these people studied something way different from it, and after studying it online they were able to still divert to it and get good paying jobs.

This is only 1%.
Hopefully you can add to your knowledge about crypto from within the topic of suggestions, ideas in it.

This might be self study but you can build your foundation in this links. But if you are currently looking for a education course that will cater blockchain/crypto, then sadly, there is currently none. Though maybe you can have your prof's (LUCK if they are involve in crypto) if they can teach you about this stuffs. Thats all about it.

Others already gave you links/ideas where you can learn about cryptocurrency and other related topics for beginners, you need to check them out. Sad to say that there are not many universities that offer courses specifically for this field. Even here in my country, I'm not sure if there is a specific course that teaches about blockchain and crypto. But even without going abroad, you can still acquire a lot of knowledge in this field through the internet because a lot of us here just learned through searching and exploring online especially here in the forum.

Thank U sir It was great help for me. I search the subject but I couldn't find and now I am willing to study Bsc. CSIT.
Yeah, that's the best part for starters if you really want to go deep into understanding cryptocurrencies.
I studied Computer Science but yet I could still not understand a lot about it.
I guess it will still depend on you afterward.
But it will always be better if you have the basics and I think BSC is a good start. They may also have a different curriculum now than how it is 10 years ago.  ;D
Good luck.

There are courses related to cryptocurrencies in which I am seeing online, not sure of its legitimacy but I'm not that interested since an individual will still manage to learn about it using the Internet or by imply asking a friend, if there is any, who is more knowledgeable than you. Also, this forum will trigger interactions in which you can make questions that will be answered by fellow members of this forum. There are also videos online which is absolutely free, in such way you will be able to save money. But I won't be surprised if digital currencies will be also discussed at school knowing that we are slowly embracing technology.

There are lots of video tutorial providers online and one could learn just about everything in udemy.

You can find which subject to study that interest you by going over to lynda.com or udemy.com. I found a good one like learning solidity language to write a smart contracts on ethereum. It must be really interesting to watch the video tutorials like this but this is if you have a lot of time.

Congrats on completing your High Schooling and welcome to the crypto community ;D.

It is a great time to enter and learn about crypto market and I would seriously suggest you to learn about development and coding because from what I have seen the coders and developers in our community are rare and in high demand so if you can learn how to build projects and write long codes then you might be earning massive in no time.

Apart from that if you want to trade and earn, just don't listen to anyone and trade yourself with small amounts and you will learn more than any books can teach you. Just make sure that you don't invest big capital when you are trading for the first few months, I suggest.

Some good guides given above already so I won't give links about learning crypto. Khan Academy suggested by fellow members looks good and you might check them out.

In my experience, I didn't hear about any subject which can be read out from school, college or university. But some news already heard few days back that an international university is going to start a course on it. But I can't remember that name right now.

Few days back, I found a virtual course about Blockchain technology in Coursera platform. So anyone can try this.

I think finding a formal educational degree on Cryptocurrencies especially in a country like Nepal seems impossible. Moreover cryptocurrencies is a vast domain. Blockchain, trading, marketing and mining are all varied fields of interest. I recommend you to move to India. Here is a course available in IIM Calcutta which isn't that far from Nepal to be true: https://www.iimcal.ac.in/ldp/APFFB .  I think it's not a regular course but kind of a special programme course which can be attended online. But the best part is that this course is by IIM Calcutta which is one of the best B-schools in India it will definitely carry a lot of weightage in your CV too. In this course, they will teach you the fintech part of the blockchain and I feel blockchain is going to play a key role in fintech.

I believe that until the government fully accepts cryptocurrencies, no educational institution will teach cryptocurrencies to students. Although for the comprehensive development of the student, each teacher must independently explain and teach about everything related to cryptocurrencies, because cryptocurrencies are an integral part of the financial and economic system of the world.

If you're good with math, then one can easily understand about cryptocurrencies and cryptographic algorithm. One cannot easily understand it. One of my friend is good with math, and looking upon cryptographic algorithm he tried to teach me good. Fortunately I wasn't able to learn. We've got more professional courses for blockchain and cryptocurrency. Recently saw a course for future BlockChain technology. Here it was a 12 month course and the fee is about €5000

Many students now in my area who are into internet do have minimal BTC due to the hype it gets when btc reach this recent ATH.

This topic will really be under on computer subject for sure unless if its included in the curriculum then it would really be teached on.So this one talks about adoption or consideration once again.
So far there are universities that do offer blockchain subjects which is great but this is only limited into some places.Hopefully as years passed we would really able to see more
of these institutions to offer such course. This will really allow to those students or persons who do really like to engage or know about blockchain tech.
There is really a wise or broad scope for this matter and this will progress even more on upcoming developments towards it.

If you want to increase your knowledge in cryptocurrency, you don't need to study to go abroad, which will require a very large fee. Moreover,
in a pandemic situation like now it is not safe to go abroad, you will be at risk of being infected with COVID-19.

You just learn from various articles on the internet, you can see some video explanations on YouTube. Also diligent in reading a lot of topics
in this forum can also increase your knowledge of cryptocurrency. There are even many online courses to learn cryptocurrency that we can find
on the internet.

Bitcoin was created in digital world and it took its root on this forum, so, the internet and this place are your best friend to enlighten you and make your knowledge deeper. Personally, I don't know any university that seriously turns bitcoin and blockchain-related topics into their syllabus and lecturers talk about it. From personal experience, lecturers and those who call themselves experts in economics, don't really know a single thing about bitcoin and just throw combination of useless words that has aim to make bitcoin look scam/ponzi scheme and a thing that brings everything bad to our society.

Believe me, you don't need university for that, just do more research yourself online and be always up to date.

As for now, there is still no specific subject that teaches cryptocurrency being applied on the academic curriculum as for it based on the current educational set up that we have here in our country. The subject for cryptocurrency is related into technology and economics which is on different courses and still the topic about it is broad to the point that we still haven't basically having any specified subject to teach cryptocurrency on a direct manner. Well, it have been already mentioned on classroom manner but not totally for the purpose of broadening knowledge about it but just because it is just related on the topic being discussed on the classroom.

Edx is also a good choice, I've used that too but haven't completed any courses there. There's also Udemy, but the quality can't compete with the previous two I mentioned.

Maths seems most relevant to me, the study of ciphers is not a new subject exactly or just defined by computers.    Bitcoin only became a currency afterwards, it was just a protocol to begin with so surely the studies must start in the same manner as we began.    Anything can have worth, the relevant subject there would be economics but also business, markets, asset valuation and accounting maybe.    Lots of things become relevant after but the genius with the protocol is something I would attribute to maths mostly.
They always say in an industry its not the inventors exactly but the developers who utilise and put the work into profitable usage best are who make the money from a new technology.

No direct subject in a school setting unfortunately, sp you'll have tp fill yourself with knowledge gained from the internet to be able to learn more about cryptocurrencies in general. Though you can learn more about how it works in an economic sense by attending economics classes, plus you can understand how they work by attending IT classes as well. Try Khan Academy, I'm not exactly sure if rhey have cryptocurrency lessons but it's worth a shot

If you want to learn about blockchain, bitcoin, etc, I think you can go to this place: https://www.coursera.org/search?query=cryptocurrency&. Bitcoin is now so lucrative and therefore, learning about it surely give you many opportunities to find a job or even make money by yourself.

I think this will belongs under programming, since you will need to learn how to code and how to create contracts that may be useful to you someday. It can also fall into economic or accountancy I think because we are talking about money, flow. margin, leverage and some other stuff, probability and statistics may be good too as well as for mathematics. I hope soon universities will soon adapt this so that peope will be aware and people will not be fool by scammer who use the name of bitcoin.

Theoretically, the central banks of various countries are also studying digital currencies. Digital currency can greatly facilitate people's lives. At the same time, major companies are also working on researching digital currency, hoping to get some profits from it. Moreover, the digital currency researched by some companies can replace the international legal currency in some small countries, and thus can obtain benefits from it.

There are theories though, it will be difficult to fit theories and technical aspect in one course or a subject in this case. Economics seems to be the subject that will tackle this because it involves currencies and market, for technical aspect then it could be programming or any programming related subject too.

Why you need to find the subject to study Cryptocurrency if there are many videos, articles, and forums like this online that will give you enough information about anything related to it??

Right now there is no specific subject that is related to crypto and I doubt that there will be since there aren't that much experts right now in crypto (there are some but they don't want to be a teacher anyway). If you really want to then you might enroll to some courses that will help you like programming or anything related to computer etc.

As for me, there are many information on the internet that will help you so why the subject. Unless you want to learn deeply into it then you need to pay to learn.

Studying Economics is a great way to start your knowledge with Finance. Its a great way to learn about the graphs and charts that is always portrayed within daily trading systems but if you want to develop, that will fall within the side of Information Technologies. There are a lot of courses online that will teach you about Blockchain Technologies and a lot of YouTube videos that could also help you with your free time on how to monetize them within the Cryptocurrency Industry.

The connection of economics and bitcoin relies on its market value and understanding how supply and demand works. But in terms of technology, that's another case study which needed to be learned through technical aspects either with other professionals freely or through paid courses that has syllabus to study about it.

It is awesome to know that there are people who are enthusiastic about learning what bitcoin and blockchain is. Unfortunately, there isn't a specific course or subject where you can learn this. I think you'd just have to learn just like everyone here. Learning a bit from here and a bit from there.
It's a great advantage that you're on this forum. You can learn quite a lot from threads created on the forum. You can also join other crypto related forums.
You should check Google and other sites and learn more about it. Cointelegraph is a good site to start with. You can as much as you want there.

I can understand for someone who is new to the forum but you are here for 4 years mate and should have really good understanding about Bitcoins and how they work. Maybe you are talking about the technical details, which I would agree that even I struggle to understand how it works and its not like I am lazy but the system is really complicated and it took me some time to understand basics like how confirmations work, what are miners and critical things like what is double spend and how to avoid it.

There are videos from which I learned everything about Bitcoins and would recommend everyone to just search the topic they are curious about and then find videos on the topic. You can learn how smart contracts work (for altcoins) which is the future moving forward.

Government accepts or not it doesn't matter because we are living in the age of internet where everyone can learn whatever they want and people are smart enough to recognize what government doesn't want them to learn. Also in some countries they have legalized the purchase of Bitcoins so maybe its about time that it gets accepted worldwide.

Here it was a 12 month course and the fee is about €5000
5k Euros for learning is too much to spend. I am someone who believes in spending on education and learning but spending 5k is just too much for a technology that is public and there are countless articles and explainer videos of how it works. By the way its unfortunate you were not able to learn, not fortunate.

I salute for your spirit to learn about cryptocurrency.
You know, I also don't find this kind of course in my country. Ad do you know where I am studying crypto?
From internet. We can find so many sources on the internet. There are many sites that inform and also give education about crypto and all related to blockchain technology. Additionally, there are also many YouTube channels that offer us very simple explanation.
We also can join the trusted group in order to get more information about them.
However, if you mean that you really want to take a subject from college, I think that some schools in these countries may be a reference.

And if he can't afford to go to these universities, he can always enrol online in one of the courses here  for free - https://www.coursera.org/courses?query=blockchain / https://www.coursera.org/learn/cryptocurrency

And get a certificate afterwards. At least learn the basics first at the comfort of your home and getting that coveted certificate. But if you are not worried about getting a cert, this forum has a lot to offer, which has been suggested many times by users here.

There are many ways to study crypto currency or perhaps blockchain technology wherein it's a broad subject to understand but internet will always be the first to solve your problem regarding that. As always, we can have a self taught education if we are eager to learn in any field of studies we want.

I would say wherever he is economics would suffice wouldn't you? I mean there are few choices and it all depends on which part of the crypto world people want to pick. I could say that for anyone out there who wants to study, which part of it you want to be part of?

If you want to be owner of a crypto business, or even a crypto project, that means studying in business and doing an MBA would be great, that would allow you to be a much better business owner. If you want to work in the development field that means you need to study computer science, it is not really that shocking and difficult, if you want to learn solidity after you finish your school you can, probably be able to learn it during studying.

If you want to be great at investing and trading parts of it, that means you should study economics, it would allow you to know all the indicators and charts a lot better. There are other examples but basically it all depends what you want to be in the crypto world.

Cryptocurrency is still new, maybe with time you will start seeing it being talked about in schools. It can fit in Subjects like Economics and Computer Science and Technology. Although right now you can still study about cryptocurrency and blockchain and get a certificate, and as well get a job in these two areas.

I have seen so many jobs around cryptocurrencies and blockchain and their pay is really good. Most of the people I know that are working in these areas didn’t study it in school, some of them graduated with a course that is entirely different an unrelated, but they were able to study it online and become experts with certificate, and it doesn’t take time to do so, it can be in months or highest a year.

There are many possible college course paths you might want to consider like economic courses, computer studies courses,s and some courses that could be used in cryptocurrency. I don't think universities are offering straight-up cryptocurrency courses. Learning how to code and enrolling in computer studies courses would be ideal if you want to understand and learn more about the technical side of blockchain technology.

I think in the near future, more information about crypto will be released when the countries, influencers are investing in it regularly, the value of crypto is also quite high and this is a highlight for making headlines in newspapers, talking about being a subject and a complete education, it seems quite difficult when the knowledge here does not serve a particular purpose or job. Not too many countries expect their younger generations to be full-time investors or losers in this volatile market, so they will narrow their knowledge of crypto.

It's best to know that there are already companies who already adopt this payment process,

with such interest sooner or later educating student is very possible.

So If somebody has good knowledge about cryptocurrency subject please inform me.
It will be great help for me.

I guess there is none, never heard of it and as far as I know it would take very lon years to study starting from the basics. There are a lots of different courses, subjects that are totally mixed in. So if some one has to make a course out of it, I can't imagine how many intelligent people have to meet and come up with what to do and where to start.

Because cryptocurrency is not accepted by our government yet. But in the future when all the government in the world accept Crypto then in every country every educational industry will put a subject about Cryptocurrency and it will be mandatory for all the students.

For now we have to rely on this one but maybe someday we can see a major that is focused on cryptocurrency but right now, we lack the resources to provide an efficient teaching about cryptocurrency. Based on my experience in college, I think that the closest there is to cryptocurrency related topics is in the Business and Economics based courses, I might be wrong but you can check it out.

In recent years, more and more universities have started offering courses in blockchain and cryptocurrencies. You can find an overview here:
https://www.accounting-degree.org/college-cryptocurrency-blockchain-courses/

However, since these are sometimes very expensive, I would recommend courses from MOOCs for the beginning. There are many free course from reputable universities available offered on platforms like Coursera. Find a good list here
https://www.mooc-list.com/tags/blockchain

There are more, just do some research and you will find a lot courses you can use to start your career ;)

It depends on where you look at it, if you ask me software developers are learning about crypto better than business people, why? Because crypto is as technical as it is financial as well, you may see it as something you buy and sell and make money but some other people could see it as a software that they could fork and build something better, if there were no developers we wouldn't have bitcoin, and we wouldn't have any other altcoin neither, it was those developers that saw the technology and built something better.

Look at the defi world right now, people are building newer and newer stuff constantly, that is why I think it is quite obvious that we should be considering tech part of crypto as well. Obviously none of them alone makes any sense, it is a double edged thing and both business and software plays a big role in crypto as a whole.

I don't think cryptocurrencies have been added to the education syllabus or anything yet although the blockchain technology might be the future and should be taught sometime soon. A lot of countries are still not ready to legalize Bitcoins which clearly means that they like the blockchain technology but they haven't opened the arms for Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies yet.

My national government remains neutral on bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.  Hopefully in the near future, cryptocurrencies will be closer, more familiar to everyone and future generations will get acquainted with all cryptocurrencies with a subject subject of the ministry of education release.
Being neutral is as good as acceptance actually because having a neutral view towards Bitcoins simply means that the people who trade and invest in crypto cannot be penalized in any way while in some countries like India, they are going to even punish users if they are found to hold any kind of cryptocurrencies, which sounded very weird to me but the source wasn't very good either. maybe the decision is still pending there.

I don't think there are, at least in our country. I mean we have economics here but I believe that the education system should be including subjects about crypto or even stocks. Maybe there are in other countries but for us here most of us don't know that much about stocks, and many don't know wth bitcoin is. Maybe just basic knowledge is what the future generation needs. Just like me right now when I still don't know if I should be investing in BTCS (https://www.btcs.com/) or not. If we will have a subject like that then future investors don't have to lose money like what I experienced when started crypto.

There are many situations where school is not the best place to learn things, life could teach you better, but unfortunately people study at school a lot better because there is an exam that you get a result from whereas in life there is no result in grades but real life consequences so they do not study as hard.

If you want to learn more about crypto, from software to finance there are many classes on online worlds, from free youtube videos to expensive online classes there are many things that you could use to learn more stuff, if you really study hard and actually give your attention to it and learn it, you could definitely get better at it, but studying at school, either from financial part or software part, you will only learn a bit of it, not the whole deal, things that are resembling crypto but not crypto itself and that is why online is better.

Cryptocurrency takes everything about traditional currency and turns it on its head. It's a digital currency powered by cryptography, a built-in security feature that makes it difficult (if not impossible) to counterfeit, with most operating through blockchain technology. The first cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, was created by Satoshi Nakamoto in the pursuit of decentralizing the financial system. There's no central bank or authority, and all transactions are maintained through a disparate network of computers that manage the records.

Specially now with big companies accepting BTC as a payment option like Tesla there will be more recognition for BTC and hence more curiosity among people to know what it is and how it works. But I do not think there will be any subject on it anytime soon because it is although complex, it is not something which education system wants the student to learn and even if they add it, sounds like a very crazy idea. I would love to know which country you saw adding that as a subject.

I have always believed that having strong economics will help you develop into a better trader and to understand the BTC mechanism, one would benefit from having strong mathematics. There are lots of operations one needs to understand and for this reason, I always wonder how amazing the guy Satoshi must be to do it all by himself almost to even think about something like this, let alone executing it so flawlessly.

Even today people find something new about BTC when reading in depth, despite knowing so much, I can only imagine how intelligent Satoshi was.

Yeah I doubt that to since there's also politics on what will be the content of a subject nor the books so the competitor of fiat might not be added on those subjects, but lets not get upset about that since we are in digital generation now and what written in the books is kinda not important anymore since there are good information can be found on surface net so we need to be a good researcher to now things what school didn't teach us.

I agree with you about a school not being the best place for learning, I don't have any respect for the traditional education system! Maybe in advanced countries, the education system is on some higher level, but in my country, it's just a waste of time! I guess that in advanced countries there's a big difference between public schools and private ones, but I don't wish to get into that.
The point is that anyone can learn about anything... information about anything can be found on the internet for free! And I would like to point one thing, with crypto anyone can learn and earn at the same time! And maybe there's not some official degree, but your portfolio can be even better and to speak for itself!

So I want to ask that Is there any subject to learn about cryptocurrency like Blockchain,Trading,Marketing,Mining, etc.
Of course this forum is the main objective to discuss crypto, there are many things you can learn here as you want to ask.

For that your question has been in the general stroke of words asked by many members here, so not to be hit with the same answer and repeated, if you have time you can read and see in the topic below.

1. Topic: Cryptocurrency trading for beginners. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3140089.0)

This is only 1%.
Hopefully you can add to your knowledge about crypto from within the topic of suggestions, ideas in it.

I'm opening this post because I'm curious, and I'm glad to find these! Thank you so much, it really helps. I kind of wondering as well where I can broaden my knowledge and know more about bitcoin, and this summary will surely help me.
I think it can cover up pretty much the basic and others already? great enough then. If there's other sources which summarize things like this for those who want to learn, please drop it as well. Thank you very much.

BTC is a legal transaction. as well as for any other crypto. The only thing that makes it look illegal is that it is decentralized, which makes it awesome.

You can also use BTC for payment transaction, and many businesses actually starts to implement it.

Those threads are great, but I would also look for MOOCs which I recommend a little bit earlier. Meanwhile, there are a lot of very high quality courses that are free and bring you much closer to the subject. Some are even from elite universities. Coursera.com and Edx.org are the best sources for this.

I don't know that this topic is suitable in Econimic or not but I had curious. I had asked this question because many people had expeiance and good knowledge of cryptocurrency And I am very Intrested in Cryptocurrency.

I had just completed my High School. And I want to build my career in this field. So I want to increase my knowledge in Cryptocurrency.
So I want to ask that Is there any subject to learn about cryptocurrency like Blockchain,Trading,Marketing,Mining, etc.
I am from Nepal and in my country there is no any eduction of such subject. So I want to go abroad country and increase my further study.
So If somebody has good knowledge about cryptocurrency subject please inform me.
It will be great help for me.

How I wish there will be schools (especially well-known ones) finally adopting cryptocurrencies as one of their subjects in the curriculum whether for technical or non-technical courses. Recently, I have finished my virtual class with 30-40 students under financial management 14 class in educating them about cryptocurrencies. It's something that I wanna encourage them to include cryptocurrencies in their subjects, as well as the other schools. But for now, you can just study them by just searching for more information here in the internet by going to Google, Youtube, Wikipedia and right here on Bitcointalk forum.

I don’t know for sure, but I think everything that has to do with cryptocurrency and the Blockchain will be appearing mainlyin two different subjects and that’s Computer and Economics, I think these are the main subjects that will suit it; Economics will touch on the economical aspects of cryptocurrency and Blockchain, while the other subject will talk about it, kind of the technical aspects of it.

But, I think it can become a course on its own that people can study entirely in the university (which it’s already becoming), because there are now lots of jobs in the industry that relates to that. Lots of companies these days are looking to hire engineers skilled in Blockchain.

When it comes on adding it up on a curriculum then expect that those schools or universities would really be needing some approval by the government itself which means it will depend

on how government do looks towards cryptocurrency and if it turned out to be on that negative then it will not likely to be ending up on that set-up.Its just good where awareness

would really be spread out so that adoption cant really be stopped to progress even up to those future years to come. For now it isnt possible but at least we are seeing small steps.

The world of cryptocurrencies is very big, you have to see what your potential is, you have trading, investment, both are similar but have great conceptual differences.

There are many books about cryptocurrencies, it is necessary that you can understand blockchain technology, bitcoin is the King currency by nature, from there many more alts are derived, but you must try to understand how the market moves, you have to understand that there are whales that can move the market, that there are many emotions that can be seen in its movements.

We can make a quick comparison with the Stock Market, because according to Wyckoff's theory in his books he teaches a lot about bearish traps, bullish traps and how you can try to see them, of course the theory is fully applicable to the Bitcoin market.

There were many scams in the stock market, and the same happens in the crypto market, fortunately within the forum when fraudulent projects are launched they are quickly discovered, in the Stock Market this did not happen until they left with the money, all these types of movements can be applied, the only thing that differs from the Bitcoin market with respect to the stock market is that the market for Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general are very volatile, and this is an ingradient that very few like to deal with.

I believed there are already universities that have been adopting and teaching about cryptocurrenicies. However they are only numerous yet located only in specific places, that is why hoping for other universities to accept and create courses regarding crypto as well. For now, we cannot do something about it but they are a lot of resources that can be found throughout the internet, whether it is in video form, articles, books and that alone is enough to understand starting from fundamentals to advance. Besides, I bet that most of the people here in this industry have learned crypto without taking any courses, and they managed to pull it through that's is why I believe they can do it as well.

Can we take these classes? I know Stanford once opened its classes to the world and shared information but I do not know if these ones ever shared as well. I have to say learning at home in front of your PC is much better, these new kids learning stuff at home on their computers are more lucky if you ask me, it is a shame that in some nations there is lack of tech and internet so kids can't get the studies they should, but the ones that can get the right environment could learn a lot better.

I do not remember anything from my college years, but I studied my current job from udemy and I am quite happy with it, and some youtube and some regular reading as well. Those type of things are better because I was around 25 years old when I started and I was smart enough to know how to study and I really wanted it, I wasn't forced with a test or something at the end so had to listen, I really wanted to learn it.

This is actually a nice thing that there are academia that are offering these subjects although that is still not a lot considering those universities is not in my country I don't think that we can see some of that subject in my country but I think that if we are curious about the economics of cryptocurrency, Economics related courses in my opinion can help but technology, I think that anything that is IT related will do the work.

Of course, you still need to learn more about cryptocurrency, not only to know how to send and active but also the technical principle, and how it works, you also need to know the mining process, integration, fintech and much more, these are the real things that need to be educated in colleges. There is a thread that listed all the universities that offers crypto course, check it here

Institutions offering blockchain courses and programs in the world. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5283129.msg55412477#msg55412477)

Some universities might require you paying some money to collect your certificate, they have good courses to learn and it's up to you to decide the course you need to learn and the location either through online or campus.

We should also understand for the psychology of the school, they are working under the supervision of the government, the formal teaching of crypto requires permission and most countries limit this when the subject is not useful to students because work related to crypto can be considered as a discipline of business and economics, time spent studying at school is not much, instead of learning about a small part of a subject, it is better to focus on a big subject. The development direction behind is to rely on each student, maybe like us, through social media to enrich knowledge and invest with crypto

It is about crypto alone, you can combine many things together and you could create yourself a career in crypto very very easily, only if you work. On paper it is very simple, but actually doing it is incredibly difficult. What do we have in the crypto world? Two types, one is financial which is trading and investing and many other things, the other is actually working with something that would be beneficial for the software part of the deal, the blockchains the features the defis and many other things that were created.

It means you could be either a coder for crypto world and code something new and better, or you could just buy and sell and make a lot of money that way. Which means you could study either economics or you could study software engineering and at the end of the day you will be capable of helping the crypto world even if your study wasn't called crypto currency.

There are lot of subjects to learn in cryptocurrency, blockchain etc.
1. How does Blockchain work.
2. How Blockchain is being used around the world in real life cases.
3. The security behind Blockchain.
4. etc

I'm pretty sure it's really rare to see in college someone bring up this kind of topic. Should be your unique side if you are really serious about bringing this up later on.
