Title: bitcoin-0.5.0 does not load on XP Post by: conspirosphere.tk on November 28, 2011, 08:02:46 AM Hi, I just downloaded and installed the latest version (after uninstalling v. 0.3.23, which worked flawlessly), but when I try to launch it, I just see a wallet logo and nothing else happens. It just not load (I checked the running processes). I tried to download it again and reinstall again and again, but it just not works. Any idea?

(https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=52008) The more specifics that you can include (32/64 bit, which rc, did you ever see the client, use encryption, does the old non-bitcoin-qt client still work, etc) the more you can help the developers figure out what went wrong. And get in your time machine and have wallet backups from before you upgraded!
