I am just curious how much was the highest amount you spent on games I am not talking about renting a pc at a internet cafe but the amount you top up on games.
I think the highest that I top up was just around $20-25,
I don't top up more than that.

P.S I just remember that other gamers tend to buy some account,service or items from other gamers you could also tell it here if you ever done it.
One of my friend bought an LOL account for $30,
And I have a friend who also sells in game money from the games that he played and even items.

I know few hardcore gamers spend nearly $20000 - $100K per year on playing battlefield games, but those gamers get sponsors and revenue from Adsense and tournaments rewards, etc so even after spending a lot of money they are still making profits.

I will use the word SPENT because i'm done in Top Up thing , thats in the past ..


But i did compute my top up in 1 certain game that i really Loved Back then before the site closed ,i manage to play for 8 straight years ( though there are  some time that i rested for months) all the Cards that i use had been collected ( aside from those electronic load) i accumulate more than 3,000$ for those years though i am sure i win back those amount and gain actually because i sell all special items that i Looted and the rewards for events i joined and win.

now i only plays those free games that not requires Loadable items.

My most game top-up is $300，But I don’t recharge the game anymore, I feel like a waste of money.

This year I already spend 50 EUR alone on games by buying Anno 1800 with all DLCs. Due to the corona pandemic and new lockdowns I play much more games than in 2019 or 2018. My limit is usually 20 EUR per month for gaming, but because of christmas I spend a little bit more for a tripple A title. In my opinion if the game is great and you will likely play for a long time it is worth to spend more than 20-30 bucks.

it depends in the fighting games for the additional characters dlc i can spend 6 $ each up to a maximum of 30 $ per month

The highest amount I top up for a certain game that I play is $30.

But that was 2 years ago, I already stop playing when I had a problem on work and needs to prioritize it first. So I became busy and decided to forget what I used to.

Currently I am spending my spare time in gambling sites for entertainment purposes.

I'm not a hardcore gamer anymore but still purchase some games that I like to try. I can spend around $10-$15 and not that going to be much. I don't find much time to play most of the games but even if it's more than the amount that I set if I badly want to have that game, I'll take it.

Really depends on my mood when I want to purchase one.

personally i don't spend to buy the extras, the add-ons inside the games but i spend about 70 $ to buy the games mainly on steam

There are too many games in Steam and we can spend a huge amount on it if the game is promising.

In game items and purchases won't matter anymore if we have the game already.

Those top ups or paid to win games, they are not enjoyable if that's the type of game you have purchased.

I am glad that I am not a fan of playing games so I can save more money for myself. But back in the past, I play games from my computer, and I do not play on the mobile phone, which needs us to buy something such as items on the game except buying the internet connection services. I never buy an account to satisfy myself in playing the games because I think that is not worth it for me.

Cheapskate here, I only buy games while it's on sale ;D
Probably will buy a game that i want if it's around 5-10$

But in the end, cumulatively, i think i spent more than i should lol

As far as I remember, I spent around 20-30 dollars on League of Legends skins long time ago. I haven't been playing the game for a few years. I see many people spend a lot of money on FUT packs. I really don't understand. I've some friends who have spent incredible amounts of money on them.

In my whole life i spent approximately 20$. Two times for Clash Royal and one time for battle pass in Call Of Duty.

I spent about $25 this year, this is also my first time to top up gaming. I played lgct for a while and lost interest in it.

Oh I spent not so much like 300 dollars maybe. But I can tell you about my experience as a booster.That was a real shock for me that people can actually spend 100 dollars for coaching session in video game with me. I had 50 dollars from 4 hours session of coaching how to play a video game LOL.

I'm not a Game spender though i sometime loves to play, but in Mobile legend and Clash of Clans back in 2018 , i did spend some amount because my office mate wanted us to play together in competition but it didn't work so is top buying gems.

Now I play rarely, but in the best years of my life I could spent above 60$ per month for games, but it was possible only during sales, because some games didn't worth their price and I was waiting sales to get cheaper.

I hold it depends on my state, if I have money and happy I will spend a lot of money,

I've spent lots of money on skins in CSGO League of legends Fortnite...
if i saved that money i could've bought a nice car by now

I don't spend that much in games even if I like it. And if I spend a lot, it won't be the same as you that you can buy your car, that's just too much.

That's too much, spending thousands of dollars just for the skin, I don't know how rich you are but only rich people will do such a thing without batting their eye, I always know that gaming is like gambling, only invest what you can afford to lose, hope you are comfortable with what you are doing, I'm not a full-time gamer but I never go to my limit when it comes to spending on upgrade and skins.

Too many hours. Fortunately Switch doesn't count hours.

There are people who spend $10K in a day for a lucky spin on that day so yes those kind of people are also existing and to be honest not everyone can afford it still they are doing because they are addicted to it and they may be looking for sponsors or even spend from own pocket but at the same time they don't know what they are going to do for the next day meal.

It's not about the lucky spin but it's about the top up on games. I know that there are people that can dice or spin with that much.

But with topping up on their accounts in different games such as the MOBA/MMORPG games for having better items, I really haven't done that in my life.

I have never spend any money on the games. There are lot of free games which are available online to play so why spend money on them.

However recently i am thinking to spent money on blockchain games like AXIE as they are giving good returns. Now a days, you have games where you play and also earn money. Isn't that a great thing ?

I've only bought games when they came complete, with no need for extra payments.

I think this was around the time of PlayStation 2?, somewhere around there.

These days it looks like you need to pay for the pre-order, then for extra content, and to actually get a proper gameplay. Plus you need to keep updating the game all the time.
