So recently, $2000 worth of XRP that I bought have gone missing from my portfolio. No, my account has not been compromised as I can see who signs in. Yes, I was told specifically through an email by Coinbase to keep my funds in Coinbase; “Your access to XRP wallets will remain available for deposit and withdrawal functionality, and Coinbase remains the safest place to hold your XRP.” Yet, they keep beating around the bush as to where my funds are.

So far, I’ve contacted them twice, and all they say is “Coinbase will continue to monitor legal developments relayed to XRP moving forward.” It’s like a robot keeps copy and pasting the same message without even reading what I’ve asked....and they don’t answer phone calls! For anyone thinking of saying it’s my fault...it really isn’t. When they give you their word that it’s ok to keep your XRP on Coinbase (especially since they’re FDIC insured), then it’s really out of my control.

What type of BS is this...I’m losing out on money. Anyone here work with Coinbase?

LOL. Coinbase is in it fro profit. Why would any one of them lurk here? They give  a shit about crypto. Why you dont buy on Kraken? Kraken have a lot employees lurking on crypto subbredits and answer questions very fast.

I do not think you can find any of the coinbase employee here on BTT. If I am you, I would rather go to their handle on twitter and tag them maybe you will get reply from them or anyone who can help you. You might also consider given a random search for coinbase employees on linkedin. Probably you will see some of them on the platform. I wish best of luck and hopefully you will give update as regard to this so that others can learn some few things from this.

You can try to push them by mention it in Social Media like twitter or reddit maybe. Even if someone here says he is work with Coinbase maybe he just want try to scam u.

So many people were also creating complaints about their funds on coinbase reddit.
Have you tried to open your withdrawal history? maybe you are missing something from there.

Just keep on contacting them with a more precise and specific question. Give them like proof of your assets from the trading/deposit history and see if they will reply to that.


But if the thing here is that kraken already halted XRP trading in the US so if he is based on that country, he can't trade XRP.

At the moment, I can’t. I’ll probably switch to Binance after this. I’ve got a Kraken account too, but they have halted or will halt trading for XRP.

Meehn I get that, they will always give you the assurance that they are he best but at the end they will all disappoint you after every promises they have made. It’s not your fault, Coinbase is one of the top exchanges with wallet there is, so you trusting them is no surprise to me.

But haven’t you read or heard that you shouldn’t store funds on exchanges because anything can happen? As for their workers, I don’t think you’re going to find them anywhere on this forum. Apart from the email and phone, maybe you should check their social media pages like Twitter and try to reach them through there. You can even post this there and tag them on it to draw their attention.

Such suspicious activities out there. I cant believe that they decide to steal your money like that. I thought they only shut down XRP trading pair.

From my experience, I had lost my money in coinbase one time and no one was there to help me. You are alone, mate. $2000 is a big amount of money which can cause you misery. Try to contact their social media. The customer services of this wallet sucks. They need to improve it, otherwise people will move to private wallet instead of online wallet
