Monero is good one but for me other than Bitcoin, Ethereum (https://trade.kucoin.com/ETH-BTC) is much more important cryptocurrencies in the market. If you have other argument feel free but this is my opinion right now and maybe in the future i might go bias to other token.

I don't disagree with you about Monero being a good coin but if you're comparing it with bitcoin then you have to evaluate it again. Bitcoin is more of an exchange friendly crypto and it's the first and king of them all. While Monero, being very private, that's what the exchanges and FinCen don't like about it. It's the next level of privacy but bitcoin is also anonymous just what we know about it. Future is still unknown but I just don't want to compare it with bitcoin as it isn't just comparable.

Monero got more enemies than Bitcoin, the anonymous part of Monero makes things hard for the project ( centralized hatred ), it's going to face different hardship if regulations comes in future, it's a top coin and first of its kind but can't be compared to bitcoin and stop dreaming that it will take over bitcoin

Platforms that unify the ecosystem to serve users, organizations with different utilities and purposes will be considered common, and most important. In addition to bitcoin, the altcoin that follows it will be ETH, XRP, ADA, TRx. it exists and develops for a long-standing foundation. All of which have proven the value of blockchain to human life.

Monero has been around since 2014, which is an eternity in the crypto currency realm. Its use is rapidly growing in dark net markets, where BTC is being rejected because BTC is not private.

Most regulated exchanges are reluctant to list Monero and this has limited its market capitalization for the time being.

Monero is real crypto cash. BTC was supposed to be real crypto cash, but fell short of the mark.

Monero’s future is bright. I expect that it will eventually eclipse BTC, but we are still a few years away from that.
Lol, everything ihere is real crypto cash, the problem with Monero is that is is a privacy centric coins, so it may or may not attract crypto enthusiast specially newbies who think that Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) is the real crypto cash since they are the prime movers. I doubt though that they willl eclipse bitcoin, as you have said, its been de-listed by a lot of exchange already and the US SEC is really hot on it's trail. So it will be a cat and mouse game for Monero and the government and I don't think it will attract investors if that will be the case.

Thats true! :) Monero has gaining negative attentions more than Bitcoin and ETH does to be honest but among the privacy coins, i can say that its still monero who's number one in the category but saying it will eclipse BTC in the future, I dont think so BTC will still remain the king and will still be the best investment

There are many more important cryptocurrencies besides Bitcoin.  But your interest is only in Monero.  Ethereum, Litecoin, Polkadot, Chainlink are also very good quality cryptocurrency.
Monero’s future is bright. I expect that it will eventually eclipse BTC, but we are still a few years away from that.
I think the future of Bitcoin or ethereum is brighter and Monero will never eclipse BTC.

monero can't go beyond bitcoin. until whenever it is impossible. but monero has a bright future, like you said. monero is one of the important coins in the development of crypto. Privacy coins are in vogue not only on the dark net, people who like privacy and want to remain anonymous use monero a lot. Currently, there are many mainstream platforms that support Monero as a means of payment, and most recently, PornHub is one of them. in the future there will be many companies that support this coin, that's why the future is very bright.

Monero has its useages, it is really good at providing anonymity compared
to Bitcoin, it is its specialty.

Bitcoin can still be used for what it was designed to do, A peer-to-peer electronic
payment system.

Monero eclipsing BTC, in a few years? well "a few" specifically means 3, so I
dont need to go any further with the discussion on this.

Ethereum is the obvious most important crypto other then Bitcoin, it is the
foundations which DeFi is being built on and I suspect like the ALT Coin
space a lot of them will either fad away or be replaced/overtaken by a newer
project offering better features.

Just scrolling through the top100 in coinmarketcap I see a lot of projects
which in their day were the newest and brightest thing, EOS, TRON, NEO,
IOTA and BAT.

Polkadot and Chainlink are the new top 10 flavours

Bitcoin is pseudonymous. Not anonymous.

Monero is fully private and very exchange-friendly. Exchanges are the actual ones not being privacy-friendly, so it should be the authorities and exchanges you should be hating on, not the coin itself. They're too thirsty for control to let a private blockchain run properly.

I'd place my bets on Monero as the best thing after BTC. Privacy is still strongly undervalued.

But people still choose bitcoin than monero, no matter if they say monero is a private coin because bitcoin can give them a big profit than monero. Monero and bitcoin are the same, which is running in the crypto world. But how about ethereum? I think ethereum can be the important cryptocurrencies besides of bitcoin. Besides that, if we compare between monero and ethereum, ethereum will be more popular than monero. But I prefer to choose Dash than Monero.

I think that Monero can not be counted as "most important altcoin, other than Bitcoin", as it is not as popular and have a wide usage as Ethereum or Tron. Bitcoin was among first who started these all, Ethereum with its ICO made cryptocurrency even more popular. What Monero can offer except exceptional privacy? Btw, Zcash and Dash can easily compete with Monero or be but on the same level as Monero. If it is like that, then Why Monero is most important? What you say is just  "wishful thinking".

Everyone has right to chose the options which is suitable for him/her so I can understand your point you prefer monero over Bitcoin because somewhere you have found monero a suitable option for you but for me there is no single coin which can replace Bitcoin or even compete with BTC, on the basis of facts this is impossible.

Bitcoin is not an anonymous coin, it would be more correct to call it a pseudo-anonymous coin. Thanks to the blockchain, we can see all transactions in the bitcoin network, with Monero you will not be able to track transactions and which is a truly anonymous coin by default. But despite its privacy, Monero will obviously not be able to match bitcoin in popularity.

IMO, How could you say that Monero is the real crypto-cash when it didn't pass the existing laws of the land, You know and I know that without fiat (paper money) crypto will not have any value because the value was calculated in US$, thats why we should comply with the existing laws so that the crypto industry can co-exist with the existing financial services today, But I agree that Monero has a very good privacy function but we have no other option we should comply with the law so that we can operate freely.

Those are crypto that will make money for you and of course, they have the usage in the market. There's a lot of project in the market, they have different functions in the market and they have a different purpose, so technically its hard to find the most important because of those differences. If you are looking for good opportunities in the market, then look for good DeFi project, the hype is still with them.

Other good projects:-
Polkadot,
Cardano
LINK
AVAX - has privacy too.

If you didn't hide anything illegal then you shouldn't worry about bitcoin since whatever you want to do with it you can use it freely without any intervention from other entities, but if you want to hide your illegal activities then you are kinda safe with monero since anonymity. But I don't like this coin and never tried to bought it. Also I call ethereum and xrp are the best or important counts right now since they are well used and profitable to trade.

There will always be a possibility for the US exchange site to did the same as bittrex and just because it has been supported by kraken and it doesn't mean monero is the most important crypto other than bitcoin.
This is not relevant consider monero is not giving a huge impact to the crypto.
it should be ethereum and it's not monero.

I totally agreed that Monero is good, but since they are a coin dedicated to anonymity some exchanges are not listing and some coins are even delisting it, we can include Monero as one of the coins that have potential in the market, but we have a lot of coins that have potential and very important like Ethereum, we can have ten to twenty coins that have a lot of potentials other than Bitcoin but I doubt if it can eclipse Bitcoin, but we can't be sure in the future.

It's very obvious that monero is altcoin and it can never be compared with ethereum to the extent Bitcoin, btc is the master of current existing cryptocurrencies seconded by ethereum and followed by others coins, so emphasising that altCoins like monero will dominate btc I think is a fallacy.

Monero has been around for years, its been a successful privacy coin and used by many who wants privacy which the use case serves well for it. Other than BTC it is indeed one of the most used coins that's why its price also is going up. Future could be more complicated however for XMR and the likes because of the crackdown of regulators. It fits to be in the darknet.

Bitcoin is private if you can buy it privately. Monero is much easier to hide and I like it but its future will depend on the exchanges. You have to buy it somewhere and with bitcoin you can do it on exchanges sacrificing your privacy or for cash which makes it private.

If you eliminate Monero exchange you will more or less destroy the coin. It will become so hard to obtain that only those who already have it will be able to transact. You'll have to trade on dex to get it which will effectively cut 90% of its trading volume.

I guess the best crypto currency that being used by most people in this world is the crypto currency that regulated by government. Yeah, we have to know that, mass adoption will come if the government allowed them to be used in their country. If the crypto currency got rejected by the government, then there is no one or only a few people who will using it.

Yeah, like monero, a few times ago monero was listed by most exchange. But, most exchange tried to delisted it because some government instructed some exchanges in their area to remove Monero from being traded or used on the exchange. Indeed, Monero is the privacy coin, not the bitcoin we know it for. Our transactions using bitcoin will be visible unless using a mixer service (certain mixers of course). However, with Monero we don't need to choose any service so that our transactions are not visible.

I like polkadot. Little by little we can see that people started to use polkadot chain in their project, it can be used to substitute using eth blockchain for  cheaper transaction fee and faster than usual. polkadot is getting hyped this days resulting to a good price in the market, I hope it will be adapted as fast as it could be, and that could be the reason why the price is still pumping now. I am rooting for polkadot, in terms of link I am still holding that since they said that link is very profitable soon.

With the current situation of government wanting to regulate cryptocurrency indutry, I do not thingk that monero's future is as bright as you think.  It maybe very bright on the black market but in terms of mass adoption allowed and regulated by the government, it won't even get its share from Bitcoin's brightness.  I think Monero could not even surpass ETH lights when it comes the public usage.

I stand corrected guys and both of what you've said about Monero are correct being anonymous. In regards to its being delisted to different exchanges, yeah, they are at fault and the ones tracking them down. When the whole community understands how privacy is important.
Monero and Bitcoin will be the ones to be at the top suggested coins including the other good privacy coins too.

Except a dark coin like XMR, all of them look to have gone centralized because of big scale investors who have the capacity to eat up the limited supply. As of price, I think Eth stands a good chance only if institutions decide to shift their money from btc to it and that will not happen so soon because they will need others to join the party and so they are drawing everybody's focus to btc.

Due to how good the technology in these current years, some of the tech-savy department could detect the transaction unlike in the beginning run of Bitcoin. People could get threw into a jail even though you are using Bitcoin for "dark matter" transaction. Who knows in later year, there are something better for private payment method.

I consider top coins as valuable coins because they have established a good foundation already that's why most investors trust them. One of those coins is Ethereum which has been showing good potential for years. I'm sure that more coins would show good potential in the coming years. I would always prefer coins with a good reputation.

I've encountered lots of different cryptocurrencies already other than bitcoin but in my opinion, I would consider Ethereum as an important one too. If you would take a look at the history of crypto, ethereum has always been next to bitcoin and I think it has something to do with how well investments and trading are occuring within it. It has also made a new all time high just like bitcoin in the last few months and many are also patronizing it. I have my investments on it too because I know somewhere in the future, it would help me reach my dream of becoming rich.

There's no such thing as important crypto. But there are popular ones wherein communities are larger than majority of the cryptos namely ethereum, ripple, montero, bch and ofcourse there's Bitcoin (this is based on my opinion alone). These are the big names in this market which I think OP is referring to. These cryptos are where many investors engage themselves with to generate profit but personally I have only invested into two of these simply because that's my comfort zone. I'd be surely anxious if I will be engaging to other cryptos in which I am not that fully aware of its market behavior.

It seems to me that there is no such thing as important cryptocurrencies, there are promising and stable ones. For me, these are a few of the top 5 coins, after Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Everyone will list the most known ones, there are some obvious legends that are no longer really interested by anyone but they are still there, famously stuff like namecoin and all, but at the end of the day if you check the coinmarketcap you get to see which ones are big and which ones are not.

You are not suppose to find that little "gem" that could worth something in the future if you are looking at the "most important cryptocurrencies other than bitcoin" because that question itself basically says what is the second ranked and third ranked and fourth ranked one and so forth because that means you get to actually check the list for the biggest ones.

I would say top 20 is enough, rest are still important but the gap is too big, if you check the top 20 and remove all the shady ones like bch, bsv, xrp and remove usdt because of being stable coin and not crypto coin, you have yourself a pretty good list.

Well right now for me is eth and Polkadot. In ETH since it is an infrastructure project, it is always important next to bitcoin since there are a lot of projects or coin that is involved or directly related to ethereum and if etherum fall down, also those coins and project will fall down which is that is the reason why ethereum is most important cryptocurrency next to bitcoin for me. Next is Polkadot, I have a strong gut that Polkadot will give a huge impact and great contribution to the crypto market stability.

What yardstick was used to choice these coins? becasue bitcoin is the best among all cryptocurrencies compare to others even those you have just mentioned. Monero is good in term of privacy but Bitcoin still has some level of privacy even though not as Monero.  Ethereum and litecoins are good but not an option to bitcoin in my honest view.  Bitcoin still remains the king of all cryptocurrencies.

Yeah its not private, its just anonymous. If some wallet owner already detected, u can trace any fund which in-out from it. Its not bad, its transparent and i think its can be one of bitcoin feature. If any project want to compete with bitcoin, its better to compete with the time and cost. Also about the efficiency of the blockchain since Bitcoin size its really big.

Not sure how would the title and the content would connect but if we're really talking about importance, you cannot say because Bitcoin aims different than these other coins you mentioned.
You could either say all of them are important or all of them are useless or with no value.
They can all be investment for some side profit.
It's just the preference and strategy that diverse the investors.

There are few cryptocurrencies other than bitcoin that will be Monero, Ethereum, Litecoin and so is preferable for me.

1. Ethereum
2. Polkadot
3. Dfinity (once it finally gets listed might be an interesting one.

I would also obviously consider some of the promising DEFI projects mainly:
1.Chainlink
2.Allianceblock (cooperation with London Stock Exchange announced today)
3. Multiplier ( Aave fork trading at a very low market cap will swap to token on Binance smartchain currently certik audit) and after go live should be quick

Cybersecurity:
1. Hacken (they have some big announcement coming check on Dyma Budoring tweets) token very cheap but difficult to buy massive upside

some pennystocks to check almost forgotten at this time for storage:
Opacity and Sharder

other pennystock of interest
Matrix AI

totally forgotten
Eventchain

there are a great deal of good coins with better features over bitcoin but for me other than Bitcoin, Ethereum is significantly more significant cryptocurrencies in the market. If you have other contention feel free but this is my assessment at the present time and perhaps later on I may go inclination to other token.

That means you hold those altcoins?

Indeed, the best we choose some altcoin to hold for short term or even for long term investment is the altcoin which is in the top 20 position. We will comfortable when choosing those altcoin. Because as far as I know when those altcoin have a good fundamental factor the price movement will up drastically and when there is no good information the price movement will follow bitcoin price movement.

Actually, I just regretted because I didn't buy some altcoin when the bull run just started, especially I didn't buy LTC. This coin have a good price movement even we can equal its price movement with bitcoin. I'm sure you will get a lot of profit when you choose this altcoin before the bull run will start.  Also if you choose ETH, I still remember its price was only $35 before the bull run came, now take a look with the ETH price movement? You just need $1000 to get a lot of profit.

If you mean as important and as popular like Bitcoin then it has to be Ethereum, Ethereum has changed the landscape of Cryptocurrency, it helped launch thousands of new projects because of it's simplicity and many usage, it's the most preferred smart token platform in the industry and they have cemented their success in the industry.

I usually use the top 200 as a base and at least one project developed or under development for possible leverage. However it can be relative and it will depend on the current moment and which project line the world is currently needing. Today, payment methods are the most sought after due to the great online business opportunities that technology is providing.

The most important crypto after bitcoin should be ethereum. It's caused by so many major altcoins right now are coming from the tokenization that happened with ethereum. that being said if ethereum is also the mother of the altcoins too. We have seen that so many major coins like LINK, ADA and various coins have been starting from the ERC20 assets until they created their own blockchain.
I don't even think the privacy coin should be mentioned as the most important coins.

Kinda agree, some people also have said that they could crack the monero blockchain as written in some media, meanwhile the government giving out reward for those who can crack monero blockchain and there's the delisting. It's very risky investment since if the government have taken action that far, they always gonna frame any privacy coin user as somewhat shady or connected to some criminality which definitely not true in general.
It's really a hard time for monero to grow. Then, there's possibility of privacy coins with further enhancement replaces monero.

All of the crypto are important for their own reason. Its just that there are some cryptos that are just created to either help the people or to scam the people.

I don't hate DeFi in general since I think that it will be a good thing in the future its just that it is already swarmed by these stupid scammers but I just don't support all of the DeFi tokens. DeFi will be one of the important industry in the crypto space in the next years so DeFi coins like ChainLink, Uniswap, Compound and so on.. are the ones that in my opinion will be important.

Next to DeFi coins are the Blockchain coins like ETH, ADA, DOT etc. followed by the staking coins which gives us passive income by just holding it.

It all depends on what you are expecting from a crypto currency, that is the key question here. If it is privacy there are privacy coins, if it is tech there are high end blockchain projects, if it is decentralization which we have defi's for right now, if it is just power and branding we have bitcoin.

Basically there are types of coins that are all different from each other, xmr and eos are not the same thing, neo and wave is not the same, bitcoin and doge are certainly not the same thing, basically there are similar coins but there are different coins as well, you have to make sure what type of coin you want to invest into before you try to find the best one at that. If you want to invest into a privacy coin for example, you can't pick btc or eth, that means you have to find a list of all privacy coins and pick the best one at that. The most important coin is all about what you find very important and that is how you decide.

That's right, focusing on top tokens or coins will always provide good returns in terms of trading and investment, especially if in the past two days I bought Dogecoin, which currently has a very fairly expensive price, automatically the profits will multiply.

but for now, dont include xrp in your options even if it is still in top 10. the future is quite risky for xrp. dont be too trusting even if they are top alts. you still need to do prior study of their project before finally sending some of your funds to get some of their coins. at least make a list of their pros and cons so it will be easy for you to choose which one suits your criteria.

No altcoin can that from Bitcoin but I will advise you into altcoin that represents new innovation rather than looks for coins that's important than Bitcoin

There is no one that can crack monero believe me, you can try as much as you want and you still would have a better shot at social hacking over regular hacking. The whole purpose of monero to help you stay private and if you can keep your privacy that would make monero valuable and important.

You do not have to invest into it, you do not have to see it as something that has gone up or down in price, do not consider monero as a trading thing, it is more about idealism and the purpose of it. If you want to profit from buy low sell high things you could very well put that money into something else and not get involved with monero if you do not want to. However the reason why it exists is to help you keep your privacy with your money so that you could potentially do whatever you want without anyone else meddling with your finance and checking what you do with it.

For me, it was a complete surprise when today, after the pomp, Dogecoin literally broke into the top of coinmarketcap, taking the 7th place in capitalization there. Dogecoin is an interesting coin to trade, but I do not think it is right to invest in this coin for a long period, because it will always be associated with pump&dump for me.

TRX does have pretty good potential. a boost from the market is bound to happen to the asset. looking at what's happening in the current TRX market with a slight increase, I think the pump chances at TRX are still high in the next market pump.
see also AOA, the market looks calm and tends not to experience a growth at last year's pump. after correcting, it looks like it will take a while to get back up. I think the potential gain of reaching 10x in an AOA pump can achieve that.

Majority will be answering about those top ranking coins specially on 2-10 or to 20 but there are some projects that are undervalued which are on low rankings but they dont
really gain that much attraction but rather people or the community had been focusing out instead mainly on whats had been pumped by the majority.
When it comes to privacy matters then i do go for XMR and ZCASH for smart contract thing then ETH will be the top and LTC isnt really that a bad choice either.
It is  just depending on what coin you do see to have some relevant usage or benefits not just only for shows.

Apart from Bitcoin other cryptocurrencies I feel are very important are Litecoin, and Ethereum. I don’t know about Montero, I have not used it before, but people claim that it is the number one privacy coin in the market alongside Zcash, so maybe it can be worth considering in that aspect. The ones that are really worth it for me is Ethereum and Litecoin.

Litecoin is a good cryptocurrency and offers a very good option for transactions, because it’s cheap and fast. Then Ethereum has been serving for smart contracts and has been steady leading the way for others to follow.

If I was at your position then I would move to other coin like DOT, LINK. I like eth and ltc beside bitcion. I observe other alts movement too but don't like to have them yet. Monero is good for their security, it's untraceable. I think all of the top alts are important as long as there is no bad news reveals about them.

You must focused sorting every projects that you see to have good market value, plus the developing team and the usages that it may add to this market and to the whole payment system.

Many people do prefer Ethereum right after Bitcoin for as we recall way back then, Bitcoin and Ethereum are tagging along when it comes to popularity and price as well as usage specially on the popularity peak when the bull run have been raised way back year 2017. It just so happen that after Bitcoin have crashed and recovered, Ethereum have struggled raising its price again but as we can see there comes a better hope right now compared for the past years that it remain on its price bottom. Well, we all do have our preferred important crypto that we seek after Bitcoin which is based on our own preference of what important is to categorized such crypto to be one of the most important crypto existing in the market.

But my main focus is on ethereum and cardano. Cause ethereum already have a very big community and 3rd party dev support. If Tron is the next potential coin, people will realize it later, but if they start to invest in Tron in the next rally, I do not think that will be good for them as they can be a little bit late to invest in that coin. But with a low price on Tron, it can be the next coin that will have the potential to rise later. But the best is you need to research before deciding to invest in any coins.

Monero just does not have the attraction that Bitcoin has with investors. So it is still and will always is the crowd favorite. Unfortunately one of the most important cryptocurrencies now are stablecoins. If they get compromised so will the price of all other coins.

Apart from that ETH, ADA, XMR, these are the somewhat important, revolutionary projects. They have qualities that coins like BSV or XRP will never have.
Don't look at top 10 market cap. Some coins there are total shitcoins.

You may be able to compare the Ethereum platform with several other platform today. Even though there is a lot of competition at the moment to be the best, ethereum is still the most important over other altcoins today.

There are few cryptocurrencies other than bitcoin that will be Monero, Ethereum, Litecoin and so is preferable for me.
We are going to hear a lot of "new" coins in the future that will be top coins as well, that is going to happen 100% without a doubt. People assume that we have a very strong top and that is sure but we have seen polkadot come in and destroy all that and move to be the third biggest coin behind btc and eth, I am not counting on USDT because that is not even a coin, it is just some company giving you ledger and that's it.

Long story short in the future this whole top 10 could change, it s harder for btc and eth to be moved from their spot, but I am sure 50% of it could change in a day, many things like USDT could be gone in a day, and others could just drop down while other new stuff come out. So, do not get attached to any "important" coin because they may not be so important forever, eventually they may lose all their value and become a lot worthless.

One way or another, there are quite a few cryptocurrencies in the cryptocurrency market that provide various conditions for partial payments, including anonymity, and, in my opinion, any coin does not compete with Bitcoin, but complements it, performing a corresponding role in the cryptocurrency market.

Every cryptocurrency has its own importance. The only difference among crypto is popularity which affects their market value and other aspects of it creating an image or impression on every crypto that there is a hierarchy. But actually every coin is precious. There are coins having huge potential to have a price increase and coins which are not observable to move. That is because of the project itself or its platform which determines whether the project and the crypto will be good for a long run and for investors to engage into it. These cryptos I think, which are referred to as important cryptos, are the huge names in this industry such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and the likes.

For me Ethereum is the most important cryptocurrency besides Bitcoin, because until now Ethereum has always been the top 2 cryptocurrency after
Bitcoin. This means that Ethereum is the best altcoin, I myself really believe many people consider Ethereum to be very profitable as an investment.
Ethereum's performance has been outstanding this year, after all, there are many projects using the Ethereum network. Perhaps the only
drawback of Ethereum is the high transaction fees, so Ethereum really deserves to be the most important crypto other than Bitcoin.

users currently connected on Reddit

Bitcoin: 9300
Ethereum: 3200
Dogecoin: 51,000

taking into account that neither Btc nor Eth do not meet the requirements of a currence and they will all end up in the hands of banks and companies as reserve value. You don't have to be very smart to figure out what the internet's social currency is going to be.

After Bitcoin, Ethereum, PolkaDot, Cardano and TRON are the best altcoins and top of my favorite lists all the time. All of these four coins have a bright future for their popular blockchain. Definitely these four coins may dominate in the next altcoins' market. Functionality of Ethereum is already proved, hence Polkadot, TRON, CARDANO has a lot of things to do. I hope they will do better apart from our expectation.
I totally agree with you that the four altcoins you mentioned have potential and a bright future.
For ethereum, I think there is no need to doubt because so far the coin can be said to be quite stable,
and for polkadot, cardano and TRON they have to prove and I'm sure it's just a matter of time,
what is certain is that investing in these four coins will be profitable

For me, definitely the most important coin (excluding Bitcoin) is Ethereum.

In 2021, Ethereum plans to change its current consensus algorithm for Proof of Work to Proof of Stake. This move will allow the cryptocurrency network to operate on its own with much less energy, as well as with an improved transaction speed. This will allow the participants in the network to "bet" their etherium to the network itself. This process will help secure the network and process any transactions that occur. In addition, anyone who uses the feature will be rewarded with a cryptocurrency, based on an interest rate model. This is an alternative to the bitcoin proof mechanism, in which miners receive more bitcoins to process transactions.

It's up to you which project you give importance to. I for instance give importance to some tokens that I'm staking because I earn from it like NEO. There are tokens we give importance to, the rest of us treat TRX to be junk but there are also giving importance to TRX particularly those who are earning dividends to projects. The community of the project is often the ones who give importance to the token. We as part of bitcoin community give importance to BTC.

We have different view on what are the most important cryptocurrencies than bitcoin. Monero is a good coin but it can not comparable to bitcoin. We have other coins which is top in the market is eth. If you look into it those top coin are most important which users are into. Just invest in those top coin to be safe.

There is no need to doubt that the safest investment in my opinion is the two coins between bitcoin and ethereum,
but besides that we also need to invest in coins that have potential such as polkadot, cardano and TRON,
I really believe that the three coins will be able to develop more than now, we just wait patiently

Monero has a bright future, like you said. monero is one of the important coins in the development of crypto. Monero is fully private and very exchange-friendly. Exchanges are the actual ones not being privacy-friendly, so it should be the authorities and exchanges you should be hating on, not the coin itself. Monero and bitcoin are the same, which is running in the crypto world. So i will place my bets on Monero as the best thing after BTC.

Ethereum, Zcash (ZEC), Monero (XMR) are very worthy projects in my opinion. But how many will manage to reach the same level with Bitcoin in the face of continuous competition in the market, the big question is. But Bitcoin regardless of anything will remain the leader of cryptocurrencies in terms of both market capitalization and popularity.
Also now there is Binance Smart Chain. You can check tokens on this network (enough perspective)

Yes that is right but the current Ethereum network is cogged up and the transactions are painfully slow unless you are spending lavishly on the transaction fees alone.

I think the next big project in the market is going to be - Polkadot and I am saying this because it is even being called ethereum killer since it solves a lot of problems that exist in Ethereum right now.

By the way if you want to know one coin which coin is going to die in the near future then is is definitely going to be Ripple!

I believe that with the advent of the defi market, the most important coins besides bitcoin are precisely decentralized finance, this market is undervalued, because it is in great demand, and also very volatile.

Yes, but if we make a comparison, I think Bitcoin is still much better than DeFi, although some people have also benefited greatly from the presence of DeFi in the past, but everyone can see how Bitcoin is moving and increasing significantly at this point in time.

AAVE, the form EthLend will play a major role in the future, as well as XDC in the DeFi sector.

Tron is a curious coin because when every coin was having a bull run recently it remained around $0.03 but now recently it started to get pumped which was quite strange because that time other coins had stopped.

I never quite like the plans Justin Sun has for TRX but yeah I will agree that it is indeed one of the best coins for doing fast and cheapest transactions (in case you don't know, transactions are free of cost for tron).

Oh yeah Monero was quite good because I remember it was impossible to track monero transactions at all but I don't know if it serves any other purpose and hence it isn't as popular now.

I think Ethereum is the most important cryptocurrency after bitcoin. Why is that?

My main reference is the platform and also the already large network. so many altcoins use the ethereum blockchain. Although nowadays many complain about transaction fees. Apart from that, fundamentally, there is a big enough trust in ethereum. These are all facts that I think most people agree with what I have said

It is very strange and wrong to compare any cryptocurrency with Bitcoin. It is obvious that Bitcoin has long fought off the altcoin company and serves as a kind of navigator for all its followers. Now there are many worthy candidates for the role of leaders in the same DeFi sector.

I follow the development of the industry and its operational updates. Once the scaling problems for Ethereum began, several platforms showed themselves to be an alternative with fast and cheap transactions. Take Binance Smart Chain for example, I think this is a very decent platform today. :P
