Last year, Ripple (XRP) price  (https://trade.kucoin.com/XRP-BTC)showed a great pump but as the news of SEC file a lawsuit, XRP price crash to $0.19. But people says XRP, is a currency that shouldn’t be subject to securities laws.

What do you think will happen to XRP price for this year? will it recover or will it dump more?

XRP is 0.26$ presently, this isn't bad at all and we heard that the project will be pardoned under joe biden very soon, don't know if this will actually happens but the confidence of getting over SEC lawsuits is present in the team and CEO, I'm less worried about XRP 100%

The adoption rate for XRP should be decreasing if truly the lawsuit is affecting the project but price tend to stay higher at 0.2$, to me this is still a very good price for XRP, if the lawsuit ends up well and XRP wins the challenge then many will FOMO and the price will grow higher

Some people might still believing this shitcoin and hold it, some people also buy this shitcoin so it make the price recover a bit.

But this will not last long since many top exchanges already delisted this coin, no volume = worthless.

i was hoping that it will going to dump not because i don't like it but because i wanted to buy more XRP for a lower price, even with the SEC issue the price of the XRP was recently goes to $0.29 i really do think XRP is a good investment for 2021.

It depends on what SEC is going to say. I'm not tracking this for a long time. If SEC walks on their way, XRP will not anymore be there. Look at grayscale, they have sold their XRP trust fund. In recent update, XRP was not in the list.
If SEC says it legal, XRP pump will be huge, more than anyone can imagine I think.

It seems to me that ripple will still grow but i think that the ripple will still drop in price when the cue ball will also fall. I think the best strategy right now is to just watch.

My friend holds a lot of XRP on her wallet, sad to see yhe price dumping more but if the charges continue, more and more interested people would likely shy away from investing and in buying XRP, not only that but if they do not win against the lawsuit, then the answer to that is definitely a big dump, might as well convert your XRPs to ETH or BTC.

XRP price will be stable until charges are not finalized, and also different exchanges suspend their trading and most of the investors sell out their XRP holding and some of the investors holding the XRP that may be a pump in future if the charges will be removed, so you can say XRP price can be pump and dump also so this is upon risk.

XRP is centralized so it is not having any potential in the decentralized crypto space.

People used to hold them due to the ignorance but now the lawsuit from SEC made most of the reputed exchanges to delist it from their exchanges so no means of trading means there will be dump in the volume which will eventually let the prices to let decrease slowly but surely.

XRP price is holding pretty well, there are many buy others and sell others on exchanges so there is nothing to be worried about, XRP will get through the SEC war and I'm sure they will win, those who sold will surely regret their moves once XRP win

Decentralized crypto space? Who told you that crypto is fully decentralized? There are better centralized projects that beats decentralized projects, even the only decentralized project I recognize is Bitcoin, others can be tampered or manipulated too

I think the court will end up in favor of xrp. If it happens as I thought, even if xrp does not ATH, it will come at very good prices.

It’ll recover in the long term once the FUD has cleared. Short term it’s difficult to say but if you believe XRP will be a great investment long term then now is the time to buy. Always do the opposite of what everybody else is doing.

Depend with news later still get positive new or not, I think when coin faced problem with SEC look impossible back to higher price but if developer wanna fight and keep winning maybe have hope with ripple back to higher price, better don't try to invest with ripple right now until problem between SEC  and Ripple developer clearly, maybe they still not get solution between ripple there are not any new update how development this problem until right now.

As this investigation does not seem to be over, it will fall further. XRP could only wait while others reached new ATH. And now, imagine what will happen when prices start to drop. Also, as time goes on waiting for the result will get annoying. In short, if XRP does not save itself from the current situation quickly, the consequences will worsen.

Investors who are taking the risk knowing that SEC issue is really holding the project. The fate of this coin depends from how

This kind of lawsuits have the tendency to take a very long time so I do not expect this to be solved any time soon, so at best ripple is going to remain at its current level, however there is a huge risk for ripple, what if the market of cryptocurrencies crashes? We must remember the crash of ripple happened in the middle of a bull run and if we enter a bear market I am completely sure ripple is going to crash as well and I will not be surprised to see a price below 0.1 dollars for each coin.

The SEC has actually filed a lawsuit over the abuse of Ripple Labs executives. They will seek the payment of large penalties by these leaders. Ripple is not threatened as a cryptocurrency. Therefore, after paying the fines, the ripple cryptocurrency will again restore its lost positions. In this case, there is practically no chance that Ripple Labs will win the lawsuit because the collected evidence unambiguously confirms the abuse, which, among other things, violates the rights of investors and holders of this coin.

Looks like xrp has stabilized in this price bracket so personally i think that in future the price of xrp can grow but still there is risk due to SEC so only buy and hold if you can hold for longterm.

Yes it will , I honestly i sm amaze how they can maintain in that price even though there still no good news in related to sec case, I heard many countries  already make partnership with ripple I don't understand why US don't want to be one of the  ripples partners in terms of fast payment . even Japan see ripple is not a security and other countries also see it the same. Once they paid for the fine it will recover back to the price where it is before this news came.

There is no right sign for what will happen to XRP, but as long as the team is not solving the problem, it will be difficult for XRP to increase and reach the market's previous position. The price itself still up and down, but the price can go down to the lowest price, especially if many investors sell instant of the XRP. I do not think XRP can increase in a short time because it will not be easy to convince the investors to come back to the project and reinvest. If there is nothing the team can do, XRP will be down for more.

For your mind only, it's not the end for XRP and have some freaking respect for the project simply because it's a top altcoin, how many new projects are you seeing on top 5 rank today? You think it's a joke for a coin to be ranked as top 5? XRP is not a small project that can just go down because of SEC, do not judge until the war is over

I guess as long as XRP is still on the top 5 of cmc XRP is still worth investing. Even if SEC lawsuit fcked XRP in my opinion they can still manage to keep up on the recent bullish trend. I guess once they solved the case XRP will go back to its original trading price, but for now FUD is still circulation around cryptosphere and that's sad for XRP.   :(

Yeah they are even expanding their service thru asia pacific despite of those legal battles/ SEC lawsuits that they are currently facing even tho XRP price is like down more than 67% since the lawsuit that happened that just proves that this project is still on the move and making their developments for their investors. Even exchanges are freezing trades for XRP and some are even delisting it which I think creates more FUD more than the lawsuit itself

There are a lot of partnerships at stake here, so I don't think XRP team is not doing anything from their end. It is their reputation on the line, so I believe they are also doing their part to rectify their problem they are in right now. Couple of months from now, we should hear tangible news from them. Else, better look for other investment options. Or even right now, weigh your options.

A lot of people are being optimistic about it but seeing the bigwigs like the RIPPLE Co-founders or Co-CEOs selling off their XRP is worrisome. If Ripple will get over this, the first set of people that should show strength and supports are the ones rushing to dump the coin.

depending on how SEC and Ripple problem are resolved, if Ripple gets a positive response, then I believe investors will invest in XRP again and the price of XRP will increase very high, but if Ripple gets a negative response, then I believe the price will dump from the current price, because investors are still afraid to invest in XRP, so we don't know what happens to the price of XRP (up or down) until SEC and Ripple problem are resolved.

In the case of a positive court decision in favor of the Ripple , all those exchanges that have delisted XRP will very quickly restore trading for this coin. I can't even imagine what price the value of this coin will rise to in this case. Maybe it will be about 3-5 dollars for 1 XRP?

I believe it will double than 3 to 5$ considering its ATH was that price before and If in case XRP win the law suit on current marketcap of crypto. Most probably it will be double or triple than that price. There is a lot of FOMO in crypto right now so I'm sure that many trader will surge in to buy XRP. But this is just what If because XRP has a slim chance to win against SEC.

It all depends what will be the outcome of the hearing next month and it will be a nerve racking for investors and holders of xrp for waiting of the results. Still, many people have high hopes that it will be a good outcome that's why there are still people buying xrp and trading it on daily basis.

If the SEC wants to use XRP as a penalty for the purpose of processing or rely on it to change its decrees to deter the crypto industry. That would be very bad. Exchanges will have to remove XRP for fear of their interests being abandoned and conflicted. I have yet to see signs of a win for XRP with the law of the SEC. But I don't expect that to happen.

It seems that at this time XRP cannot get back up like before. However, if the Ripple side can fight the allegations from the SEC and can provide a response that can win arguments in court. Then the major exchanges in the United States will re-list XRP and the price will rebound.

So many projects have been loosing when they were arguing with SEC about the allegation. It's not an easy battle that can be winning by ripple. That needs a very long process and SEC will always try to take the chance to win against ripple.

Faced the opinion of one expert. He believes that by the end of this year, Ripple will have lost all payment capacity due to the lack of other income other than XRP sales.

What you need to understand is that CMC has nothing to do with the valuation of XRP nor any other coin in the market, it just represents what is going on in the market. I expected the market to go down the drains when the lawsuit was brought by the SEC but it is still holding on but all the profits held by the market is already washed away once the lawsuit became public.

XRP team cant bring back the demand back again to the XRP if this problem is not yet solved. We should not put a high expectation when the case is still running. Anything can happen and ripple can die anytime.

If the case is finished and XRP wins, then the price and its future will be better than now. The problem is that there is currently no certainty that the case will be resolved, this of course will doubt many people about the future of XRP. I think it's too risky to invest in legally problematic altcoins, it's better to look for other altcoins that are equally profitable.

Last year, there was a similar situation when the SEC won a court case against Kik. In court, it was proved that Kik violated the securities law by selling its coins in the course of an ICO in the amount of $ 100 million. XRP price will always depend to the team behind XRP as it can surely recover if they can settle all their current problems but if they cannot do something to solve those problems then I am sure that XRP will surely to loss it's importance and it's price will surely to continue to decrease.

I am strictly monitoring XRP as it is a right time to buy also if in case there is a possibility that the team behind XRP can likely make a great solution to their current problems because the price of XRP right now is very affordable.

You never can tell, there is always a room for negotiation and if it favors the both parties, trust me xrp will boom from their and it will not just make everyone fomo into xrp but it will create more trust from investors and traders that indeed, the team are capable of handling everything despite their failure in the past.

XRP is a coin that will be subject to security laws.
1) It a centralized coin and any government organisation can intervene in the activities or problems that involved XRP legal issues.
2) Every crypto company that hosts an initial offering but broke the US SEC rules and regulations is subject to security law which is what the XRP team did when they scammed US investors through the initial offering.

The Japanese are the major holder o XRP but I still believe the price of the coin will be dump throughout this current bullish market.

XRP is done and very hopeless to see its price recover after the result. I think all of their investors are moving their XRP coins off from their wallet which is the best option to take rather than being patient to wait for its recovery coz it is probably no more chance.

And even before the case, people are in doubt about this coin, a centralized coin could never be giving us a bigger price but still consistent below $1.

Good to see people having faith in Ripple despite having all the circumstances but even if the lawsuit is taken back or solved I do not see why it would reach 10x after that. Yeah it might recover around 60 cents but that is the best case scenario but the risks are high because the coin is not getting any support from anywhere and I don't know if the owners even care at all now since they have their pockets full.

It has slipped a place down already at https://coinmarketcap.com/ and while the trading volume is good, I think there are more sellers than buyers at this point. I am hopeful they can solve their issues and another thing they should do is release the 20 XRP they block for each new address used as an activation fees.

The reason is not dubious, if you are living in a country you need to live according to the rules and regulations, you cannot start raising money without the regulatory authorities permission and if you are doing things like that then it will have to face the issues as well. Ripple was a centralized company and they raised millions without the SEC approval and that is the lawsuit they are dealing right now.

This depends on how ripple can solve the problems given by the SEC, when all of them have been resolved, it is certain that Ripple can experience a price recovery and may also experience a price increase because many investors will be happy, because Ripple is doing a good job because it can solve problems that are is going through it.

In my opinion, if the Ripple team is able to solve the SEC problem, I'm the sure XRP will recover as usual, but if it fails, you can be sure that XRP will continue to decline and sink from the crypto market, this is very worried about by the investors and holders of Ripple, hopefully related parties can solve the problems that are currently hitting Ripple,

I doubt it is going to recover or go any higher as long as the lawsuit is hanging around. Though I am not sure what's currently going on with SEC and Ripple (i don't follow ripple), all I know is, they are either going to get fucked and if that happens, the price is going to dump further to almost nothing or your coins might get frozen (I am not sure about this, but I have heard XRP is centralized, and if that is the case, your coins can be frozen).
But there are others will to take the risk. They are hoping the price is going to skyrocket after Ripple wins the lawsuit.

But in fact, today's ripple coin has shot upwards. You can see it today on Binance or any exchange. Do you think this is hype or FOMO? Maybe this hike is normal and will bounce back down. But the XRP isn't dead. In my opinion, as long as XRP still has trade transactions, that means XRP still has a great trust.

xrp in january is showing a friendly attitude, xrp price is observed to reach $0.4 this is a good jump for xrp this month. if it is true it can be consistent for xrp i think it will be easy for xrp to be able to shoot higher to a price position of $1 or more

Quite honestly I am surprised by what I am seeing in ripple at the moment, yesterday the price of ripple pumped really hard and now it has a price of 0.45 dollars, this is really surprising but I cannot help to think that the price is being manipulated, after all when the price of ripple went down so dramatically some weeks ago it was because of the announcement of the SEC so it makes sense, but I wonder did something happened yesterday to justify that price increase? Because if did not happen this is just a manipulation of the price by the whales.

People are free to say whatever they want, at least holders will keep saying that Ripple is good and so on, while the team will be giving encouraging notes or words to their users, but for SEC to sue them means they didn't buy the gist, thus would be left for the court or whatever that is In charge of the case to decide if Ripple is subject to securities law or not. Also, since the future of Ripple is uncertain owing to this present case, then anyone who want to buy should do so with utmost discretion and carefulness, because Ripple is standing on an edge and if the case goes against them or do not go in their favour, then the price will be terrible, moreover some exchanges are delisting it already  which further adds to the uncertainty of its future; that is to say, no one knows what will happen to it this year, until the final verdict.
