A couple of month ago i discovered Ethereum. I'd been thinking about investing, but didn't. Now i think is the ideal moment to go back to this idea. Can anybody recommend any Ethereum tokens to invest in?

Why are you looking at tokens? Are you trying to do short term predictions? You might be better off looking at investing in ethereum instead, it could bring a greater return?

Yes. Anyone can recommend any Ethereum token to invest in - if you are the kind of person to invest in something purely due to someone else telling you, then perhaps you should consider your risk assessment with the use of that strategy.

Always Do your own research before investing, Most of the suggestions you will get here are bias on there own holdings. They will recommend the token they are currently holding.

For an honest from me. I recommend $LINK and $BAND. This 2 token has a vital role on DeFi industries which is the current trend right now. You will surely have profit on it in the long run. I don't hold any of this token right now but I will definitely buy some of it If we're gonna invest on ETH tokens.

If you're not willing to put in the work and do your research yourself, then investing and handpicking assets in general is probably not for you. The same reason why I wouldn't recommend you starting a business or getting a job in an industry you have no knowledge in.

Best token on Ethereum network is Ethereum. and the only one worth the investment on that network.
it is very difficult to expect that they will pump 200% in 24h, as can happen with some tokens. But also, there is little chance of becoming worthless. So if you are not sure what to do, follow one of the top 5, and change to be wrong you will reduce to a minimum.

If you think this moment is good idea to buy Ethereum IMO you're too late, the market is more harder to predict since it's has reaching it's peaks.

Why did you choose tokens over Ethereum? I don't know if you will start short term so that the token will be your idea of choice, but I think many are suggesting why not invest in Ethereum because it is one of the leading tokens for me it is not too late but for sure it will be a good idea. .

I think for me asking someone what to invest in is a very bad idea, why I think it's bad?
the reason behind it is that you will put your money on something you don't have any knowledge about, investing is not just you are going to put the money and that's it, for me its the common mistakes of newbies, they try to lean on others review, which is so dangerous because we are talking about money and your future, it's okay to listen but making an extra effort to make research gives you a chance to spot or to know if its really profitable, that is my opinion, do you agree?

I personally won't recommend ethereum itself as it's over priced at the moment talk more of any token it gave birth to. Ethereum was trading below $150 at some point this year and that would had been the best time to buy if you couldn't get it any lesser. Ethereum still has room for growth though but that's mainly because people are foming into ethereum as they missed out on bitcoin.

The expectations are Ethereum would be trading close or above the $4k value before the years runs out but don't be over optimistic as this are just speculations. If you're looking for what to invest in then go for bitcoin, you are safe investing in bitcoin especially if your investment timeframe are for long-term.

But if you hope to jump in on some shirt term trades then alts would be the best bets at the moment but do so at your own risk as any slide decline from bitcoin can cause mass dump in value of those coins just like what happened within the last 24hrs. Bitcoin is volatile but altcoins are even more volatile and way risky.

I understand that it is quite risky to trust other people's opinions when it comes to money.  But it seems to me that the personal preferences of people can be useful in complementing my personal research.  Perhaps if a person advises me to invest in something, it means that he receives (or is sure that he will receive) a profit from this.  But yes, of course, I will not invest all the money based on the message on the forum, rather it will be as additional information that may be useful to me.  I'm just getting started in this business, so I apologize if my questions seem stupid to you

Not because people "prefer" something it doesn't automatically means it will be a good investment. A perfect example being XRP, one of the most useless and most nonsense projects out there but yet it's being shilled by people as if it's the best thing ever.

Other altcoins are trouble for newbies, why can't you invest in Ethereum rather? It's safer than other altcoins especially for newbies like you OP, or just spend your time with research maybe you can know some differences, there are good tokens too but Ethereum is the safest option

If I may suggest, why not go for the main coin itself, that is Ethereum, rather than going for Ethereum based tokens, not that they are not good or there are no good ones but I think Ethereum is far better. Nevertheless, before going to such tokens, you will need to decide if you will be holding for a long time or for a short time, the reason is, it might be hard suggesting new Ethereum tokens to invest in because a good number of them might not last long term thus when you go for new ones, prepare for short term profit. On the other hand, going for LINK and UNI, are good but you might want to wait for more price correction before going in.

Anyone who are connected with cryptocurrency can suggest you any coins or tokens to invest. But is it worth right way for doing investment? I don't think so. You must have that knowledge and you should research your own way. Because none can bear your loss. You need to afford it. That's why do your own research and it is a risky place where anything can be happened. Self confidence and patience are needed in this respect.

Sticking to ethereum will be the best for you because ethereum will be worthy than you buy the token. We do not know what token will increase while ethereum will increase more than the price now. I don't recommend buying any token based on the ethereum because I don't want to give the wrong token. You can search for yourself, but you need to be careful because once you convert your ethereum to any tokens, you will need to watch how good the token move in the market. I prefer to hold ethereum than to convert it into tokens.

If you want the altcoins that are in new tokens, you should have time to do some research. because this year we haven't found any really good projects other than bitcoin and ethereum.

I wouldn't recommend you any ethereum token to invest in although there are few tokens which may be profitable according to my estimate but that's not enough to recommend you these tokens because we all understand the volatile nature of cryptocurrency market which can turn anytime so invest on your own risk this is what I can recommend you.

Anybody can say any token that you might choose with but in the end, its your money that will be risked and I don't think that it is a good idea to ask any tokens to invest with your own money.
Its like you are giving your money to us and we will be the one to choose which coins to invest it.

I don't want to say some since there are lots of ERC20 tokens that are successful right now to choose with. Do your own research as always. You're still a newbie base on what you said that you only discovered ETH one month ago. Unless there is somebody that are helping you learn which will help you learn faster, I suggest to know at least the basics of it first and then decide which coin to invest with and which are not.

i do not think that it is good idea to ask recommends in this place about investments. people will suggest you those tokens in which they are stuck for a long time. just try to learn info about those alt which priceis less than 5-6 cents.

you mean ERC20? in my opinion, instead of investing in any Ethereum token (ERC20), then you better to invest in Ethereum, because the price of Ethereum will definitely continue to increase and give you a big profit in the future, so you will not regret to invest and HOLD Ethereum for the long term, because you will definitely get profit from investing in Ethereum.

You can invest in Ethereum instead of any Ethereum token. In this way, your investment can have a more guarantee and gain potential. Ethereum is the most trusted coin after Bitcoin, and this will continue. Never be afraid to invest in Ethereum and make these investments in the medium to long term  :)

Have you paid attention to LINK (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/chainlink/)? Apart from BTC and ETH, it also reached $25.65 while the price was $12 a few weeks ago, and renewed its ATH. So LINK is the best if you are looking for a successful ETH based project.

Hi! I wrote there a week ago that i wanted to get into crypto and was told to go and educate myself on the subject (which i did, thank you). Summing up a week of research i can tell that:

1) you need to know the company you invest into really well, and it's good if the company that owns tokens has existed for some time and does other "real" projects

2) sometimes it is better to invest in a small but ambitious startup than in a large company (but still we have to keep in mind point 1)

Initially i thought about investing in Tezos or EOS, large and well-known, but the main problem for me is that they (as many orhers) don't do any other, tangible projects so it's hard to predict rise and fall of the currency (and therefore any profit)

So i started looking for companies that have something to them beside crypto. Usually these companies are trying to promote themselves and offer some of their products and privileges in addition to the usual profit

If you need any examples of such companies, i have entrusted my money to Neurogress. They met all my criteria (they have existed for some time, offer their products if you invest in their token, and their product piqued my interest and i think it can find it's audience with time). I liked them, but there are other small companies like that and anyone can find something they will like best. I myself am very happy with the investment i made: i am helping a small company and i can make some money and keep their cool product (im not promoting them here, if you want to find any info - google them) Good luck!

why don't you want to invest in Ethereum? because in my opinion Ethereum is the best choice to invest right now, but if you really want to invest in any Ethereum token, then I would recommend you to invest in MITx, because I see this project has an extraordinary idea and a great team, so I'm sure if the price of MITx will increase very high in the future.

Why do you think it is the ideal moment? You should have a strong reason to consider again the idea. If you just follow the hype, please think twice. Don't buy crypto because of the hype while you have no certain goal and lack of knowledge. Better to join once you are ready, mate!

I think it is a bit strange you are looking for Ethereum tokens. You are better to focus on learning Ethereum and buy this coin firstly.

You can start to invest in the major token. As far as i know, there are some tokens that are still using ERC20 as its basis. DYOR.
You should also explain what kind of coin that you are looking for it to be used as your investment and we can try to analyze what will be the best coin for you.

You can start with a  major coin like LINK, or another ERC20 token with a very big marketcap. It's a good thing to start with the small cap of coins as you are no investors.

And then please explain why in the world does people always get scammed by same scheme and tricks over and over again? Just face the reality, some of us are so easy to get tricked and be manipulated.

A few months ago he had found out but didn't make any decisions, so he regretted it and asked if anything similar would happen to the other tokens.

what about DEFI? there are lots of good quality DEFIs on the ethereum network. you can invest there. and currently the defi project is also hot, so the possibility of getting a high profit. or you can invest not only in ethereum tokens. there are actually lots of other lucrative coins out there, one of which is DOT. In recent weeks the DOT (Polkadot) has been popular in the market. or the doge, which is surprisingly high today.

In my opinion, the token market is very saturated and something that should be analyzed before investing. There are many 'scam projects' that disguise their development to raise funds and disappear later. However there are those projects that are in the big exchanges like Binance, Bittrex and others. But in general the token segment must innovate otherwise failure is the most likely result.

What I like the most about Ethereum is the tokens of decentralized exchanges. Especially 1linch and uniswap. I think they are expensive now...

Not right now, because the market is in a chaotic situation and I do not like to invest during periods when it goes super high or super low.
I would rather let everything settle, check the tokens, check their whitepaper and their roadmap, see what they have done so far and what they are planning to do.

After I check all of this from a token I try to see how they would do, sometimes they are great and they plan on great things, sometimes they are bad and they want idiotic things, I just check to see what happens. This is the main reason why I think it is going to be quite important for all of us to make informed decisions and trading during a huge volatility period is not going to be very well informed, it would be emotion based and we have always said that investing with emotions are not a great way to make a profit, you should stay away from doing that.

People always recommend top 100 on CoinMarketCap, why don't you narrow the scop of your search withing this parameter and select the good one's among them, you can reduce it to top 50 so it won't be too much for you to research on, make your own choice becsuse nobody can give an accurate answer.

i suggest to check coinmarketcap to make the right decision, and u should understand you want to go in long term or short term. for long term i go only in eth based dex project with credible backgroung. now reserching xsigma stablecoin dex 

If im understanding you correctly you are interested in any high potential erc-20 token, so i would suggest you to take a deep look at Utrust project and if you like everything then feel to invest in their token because i rate it as high profit potential token over mid to long term range.

i heard about xsigma, now checking them. looks nice and they are backed by public company.  in 2020 i invested in polkadot, nice project as for me

I will not suggest any eth token as of now since no one knows if in the future this projects will vanish or turn into scam everything may happen in crypto space anytime so try to research very carefully in each and every projects you want to spend your hard-earned money always consider this token metrics before buying the supply, real usecase, a solid white paper and how the distribution will happen this must always be transparent and fair to all investors and please consider investing whos team are public and well known or trusted this is very important in my opinion.

Yes. there are various Ethereum token to invest in. if you are a person who wants to invest in something at the direction of someone else, you should do your own research before making any investment. You also have to estimate the risks involved in the investment.

It is also possible that the suggestions you'll find here are mostly biased. They will promote their own tokens or tokens they are holding currently.
If you want an honest answer then, I would suggest you invest in Bytom, Digg, ELF, 1FX. These two are highly profitable and based on the trending technologies and have an important role in the DeFi industries. By investing in these two, you will surely make a good profit in the long run.

After discovering Ethereum but not investing in it? oh what's on your mind friend, you would rather invest in tokens than Ethereum itself? at least if you take the option on ethereum or buy in january (like your post) then you can make a good profit right now.

At least top CMC is indeed a reference for many people because of the trading volume or they are already listed in a market that has confidence. I think there are a lot of people here who have given their opinion about altcoins with the Ethereum platform to invest in. I myself prefer @OP to make their own observations about which ones are good and which are not for investing

for now, I can't recommend anything other than ethereum itself. however, we know that the development of coins with eth platforms or others need to be noticed gradually. even a project with early success does not guarantee that it will continue to be successful.

Right now Ethereum have high gas fee issue and filled with many scam tokens.
For me its better to invest on BSC Token which have IEO on Binance, the price looks so promising.
But i still prefer invest on Coin over a Token since the creation of Coins is more difficult than a Token, so i bet the development will be more serious.

You are a very new member of the cryptocurrency, why did you set up your mind to invest in the ERC-20 tokens. You know Ethereum blockchain only a month ago, you don't have any knowledge about transactions per second of Ethereum blockchain. I would suggest investing in Binance exchange listed altcoins. Now centralized exchange and higher volume we can find in the Binance exchange.

There will be lots of suggestions for you here but only you could decide where to invest based on the result of your own research. Be skeptical and always choose potential coins. If you have a prospect coin, you should dig dipper and try to research more about it and if it's the best time to enter the market. Doing research is the answer because after all, you will still be the one who will handle your funds.

from high fees atm which i dont see for it to be the right time on considering investment with erc20 token based and making out transactions knowing that each transaction

When it comes to long term then i would pass off first with tokens.Better stick with coins with different blockchains which i do recommend.

I think scammers are everywhere, and it's not etehreum's fault, I also often encounter scam tokens on other coin networks like tr20, bsc or slp, it's just that the cases are few and not well known.
But if you do invest in BSC tokens I agree, not only are the transaction fees cheap, but the network and support will be very good, as you know BSC is a Binancecoin network, and Binance is a well-known platform, so in my opinion it is very safe to buy tokens running on BSC network than ERC20 network.

I agree. It wasn't crypto's fault that ICOs scammed people. It wasn't the internet's fault that people all got scammed online by ponzis and hyips long before crypto ICOs came. People are greedy by default, which makes them easy to scam. I've seen hundreds of scam tokens on other blockchains too (try opening Waves wallet in 2016!).

There's less damage made by waves chain way back 2016-2017 since many people are aware on how easy to create token on their platform, The one which really hurt the investors the most are the Erc20 tokens before since this is the most used by scammers. But we shouldn't trust all BSC tokens since as of now this one gain fame and provably scammers will used it again for another series of scamming that's proper research upon doing an investment is important so that we can see the project worth and have possible good future.

The present is a crucial moment for cryptocurrency. I think this bull run has reached the upper limit for all coins or tokens. Now we are waiting for the next bull run. Yeah for sure. Ethereum is where people made the most, and also where people lost the most, naturally. I'm just saying that the risk is equal, you can lose money on any platform if you run into a shit token (which most of them are anyway).

Even if you invest in ETH the ROI won't be as big as the one you could get from altcoins and tokens, ETH can't do 10x let that sink in, Bittorrent, NXPS, vechain have bring a whole bigger ROI than you can ever earn from Ethereum

Ethereum token which could be consider to buy is, Dent, uniswap, genesis vision.
Dent : and old project which really doing a good job and very well use cases, with the simcard and apple use esimcard for their phone it could give dent good chance to penetrate the market.
Genesis vision : also old ethereum project which already pass the bear market i believe people will start to use their dapps for trading.

I think that you should know that investing is different with trading and when you are investing your money to the altcoin or something else, that means you were using your altcoin as your investment for the long term and there will be no a lot of traders needed and that's still worth consider so many ethereum tokens are including into the major coin.

I think what you mean is different again, because each Trader has its own popular altcoin and has its own way or trick. I think it's different altcoins that we hold are different ways we get the benefits. what is certain is that all that you want to achieve in any Altcoin trading is profit.
