How do you increase the ranking for beginners?
please guide because I am still a beginner  ??? ??? :) :)
because I don't know what to do

If you want to ask questions about accounts, rules, or anything related to the forum, then you must create a thread or ask questions in the beginner and help thread. for a thread called bitcoin discussion, here is specifically a discussion about bitcoin, regarding prices, developments, or the latest news about bitcoin. so you have to distinguish between thread 1 and another, along with the discussions in it.

You joined the forum and only one hour after your registration time, you asked this question. I don't believe that you joined the forum with any good purpose to learn about bitcoin, discuss about it or to contribute anything has value for community.

I believed you knew the answer and only played innocent to ask this question.

Money incentivized and merit incentivized purposes are behind this topic, aren't they?

I think you should not think of ranking up at the moment, the first thing you need to know is the rules, learn something about bitcoin and other altcoins how they work, although you need to post spamming is not allowed, once you have gain knowledge ranking up will just follow, since you now gain some knowledge when joining the discussion, members will notice you and the information you were sharing to other members, and that will be the gate for you to rank up without knowing, or without you saying that you want to rank up.

Why would a newbie focus on ranking up fast? It's wrong move and it can lead to practising means on ranking up that's against the rules of this forum, learn about crypto is why you are here I guess? Start engaging in good conversations and make good contributions you will get ranked up when you least expected

I suggest you to forget about forum ranks and try to contribute to this forum with your experience and knowledge.
If you do this;  you will naturally progress in this forum without much effort.

Yes, the main purpose of this forum is to learn. Concentrate on that. You need to know that this is the best chance you'll ever have to reach your goals, whatever they may be. Your life is full of opportunities if you let them in. Ignoring that basic rule will lead to you being labelled as a troll, so it is not worth it.

Now, let's go back to your original question, but this time, you'll have to think about it a bit.

Just a heads up: You don't need a higher rank to be able to learn here! Heck, you don't necessarily even need an account(unless you want to ask stuff concerning Bitcoin)! Bitcointalk threads are totally public and can be accessed by anyone anywhere without an account.  ;)

From the name of the forum itself, this was created in pursuance of seeking knowledge about the world of cryptocurrencies. Lots of experienced and beginner users share their experiences, knowledge, and guide about anything to do with cryptocurrencies circulating in the market. If you are aiming to rank-up, familiarize yourself with the basic rules in order to avoid spamming.
In addition, always make sure to avoid plagiarism and to always be original. Try your best to share anything that is interesting in the cryptoworld so that people would merit your posts.

When I visit your profile and read all of your posts, noticed this was your first post where you are asking how to rank up. I am wondering how it came to your mind that you need to rank up on the forum? Seems you have raised so many questions. But those are all generic questions those answers would be found by using the search button. So, please learn to use the forum search button.

Although rank up isn't mandatory here to learn unless your intention to earn from here. But if you need it, then you need to contribute like other users. You may follow those already rank up here. Spend more time on the forum to read useful threads and help others as much as you can. That's how day by day you might learn how can you build your account.

P.S. Please avoid coloring your posts, it will discourage readers to read them.

My question is how did you know about bitcointalk forum?. Why are you interested in ranking up?. Many people have gathered here to seek guidance, help solving problems and more but why ranking up when you can earn bitcoin that doesn't need rank as one of the requirement. Anyway, welcome to the forum and read, read, read then you'll learn what to do.

Without intending to offend the OP, I think you are saying the right thing. If the OP's goal is to gain knowledge, study, then maybe ranki are not what you are looking for.

OP, you will only reach the rank if you can post quality thing and also contribute to the forum. Increase knowledge by reading, know more rule, know how the merit system works. Welcome, I hope you succeed in achieving it.

Do like other people do, you can see some of the topics in this forum, you have ideas or you can help other members who have problems and you solve you will be appreciated here, (Merit) determines you for your chances of achieving rankings in this forum.

Give your suggestions and ideas in this forum well and useful for other members, you will automatically achieve what you want.

Welcome to our forum. Hoping that you already read the sticky thread above this might help you to enlighten how to rank up. One and most effective way is to create a helpful, useful and constructive thread not just a one-liner question, and sharing for the forum, always elaborate all the things about the information you've got because this is the reason why you are helping, sometimes you will not get merits but its normal don't get mad. So far its better if you explore more here to our forum and read a lot of discussions came from the different member by that there is an instance you acquired knowledge and idea towards to your next threads. hoping that you will push being a helpful member and not just trolling. We want quality member, not a troll member ( we have a lot so please don't be with them.)

Your goal is very good because you want to increase your ranking higher here. You need to learn from a lot of guidance and follow the steps that seniors do, I am sure that in a long time you will understand and get what to debate in this forum as well as provide education etc.

When your posts are of high quality and it can provide advice to other people, I am sure you will get merit from what is given, I hope this can encourage you in the future by starting from a newbie account.

There is no other option of ranking up except your efforts to this forum. As much as you can give efforts here, you will get merits according to your efforts. And merits is a vital one for ranking up.

Efforts =
1. Share your knowledge about crypto
2. Try to help others with proper answer
3. Detect scam / spam and report them

First of all, you are highly welcome to this amazing Forum named "bitcointalk.org", the best place for crypto lovers. On this site people not only increase their rank, but also learn so much stuff about cryptos that is available no where else other than this site.

Do these things if you want to improve your rank on this forum.

1. Learn about Bitcoin and Altcoins, and  then share your knowledge with others by answering their questions.
2. Share your knowledge that you gained from reading other materials from this site or from anywhere else.
3. Give respect to others and never ever think about scamming someone as this forum is know for its policies against scammers.
4 Read the white papers of the "Altcoins" and as well as that of the "Bitcoin".
5. Try to gain as much knowledge about cryptos as possible, so you can share your knowledge here and that will result in increase of your rank
6. Always be open-minded so you can accept whatever comes in your way.
7. Give this site your time. By giving your time to this site you will master all of the above.

It's hard for me to accept someone asking a question like this - and when he opens the B&H board, the first thing he can see are as many as 4 sticky threads in which you can find everything that every beginner should be interested in. If for some reason someone refuses to read, then he is in big trouble - so I advise the OP to read all 4 sticky threads and then ask for anything that is not clear to him.

I think they just want to know since they are interested. Given the fact that this is a thread for beginners, they're not actually wrong to ask this kind of questions. Instead of criticizing them, teach newbies where they should read more information in specific topics.

As for the OP, you're welcome in the forum to ask questions and share your thoughts about a specific topic. I suggest, as a newbie, you should read first rules and regulations and the pinned topics for the topics you are interested in. Happy reading and posting :)

I don't know the exact reason why do you want to rank up so bad but I think it is already provided at the top of this section specifically those pinned threads. All the answers you seek are already provided there starting with the rules and regulation for this forum, gain merits for you able to rank up, and more. My advice is that the first thing you need to do is to learn, be knowledgeable and gain experience because they are the most significant factors for you to be able to participate in a particular discussion. Upon those discussions, if anyone likes your thoughts and finds them useful they might probably give you merit which will allow you to rank up. To put it simply, you need a foundation which is knowledge, then everything will go smoothly including achieving a high rank. Anyway, welcome to this forum and I hope this comment of mine would be helpful.

Hello everyone, I need help.  From what rank can you attach an image to your post?  This is a very important topic for me.

Jr. Member onwards (or purchase a Copper Membership (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=credit;promote) if you're in a rush).

In your case, you’d need to earn a merit to reach Jr. Member. You can still post links to images, but they won’t be previewed on the forum (unless someone with the appropriate rank quotes them).

Get 1 merit and it will get you promoted to Jr. Member. Because only Jr Members and above (Cooper member) are allowed to display picture in post.
If you are having trouble making a quality post then I suggest you do something about the two thread I refer to. Maybe it will help you earn merit. Your current activity count and post are eligible to move up the ranking, only requiring at least 1 merit.

I doubt your even a newbie at all. All of a sudden, your all good with using certain forum features like the colors to raise concern. I won't extend it to emoji because it's actually nothing but again, your account was created on the 28th of January and you've got just 3 posts thus far. How then will you be focused on ranking up when you've made far less contribution to the forum? Even at that, your activity series has not gotten anywhere and its going to take at least a month to get the activities needed to be a Jr. member should you be very active which you are apparently not for now but then, as much as reading is good, you've got to make your views known by contributing.

Of course newcomers have to start working first because after you start every job you are a new member and from then on you must get good rank. Of course if you can work well then you can be given merit from here.  You have to think that you have got it, so you must work well and post well

Even without money perspective, lifting of those back to back posting restrictions is treat in itself. I'm not sure if those restrictions were in place when you joined.

Jawhead999 already answered your question, it would be better if you are going to read the link he had stated in his comment, being a beginner is the hardest part of our life because we don't know much about the environment but the good thing that is you may pass from being a beginner with the help of experience and knowledge that you may gain by spending your time in this forum and by the help of your self as well.

Getting 1 merit is all you need then your rank will increase to jr. member rank which you can now be able to post images that ends with .png, .jpg and other supported image in this forum. Copper membership is also another way to have a privilege to post images even if your rank is not jr. member but make sure you wear the copper membership when you are done paying the exact amount to pay fees not included.

That's why I think you have to work well in this forum. You have to work hard on the important issues in this program so that everyone chooses your opinion from the important issues and everyone can gain trust from your opinion.  And they can work based on your feedback

I'm not a technical expert, I've seen a lot of newbies trying it and getting some 'merit'. for beginners that thread is very recommendation.

You shouldn't value ranking up above all, you should think of the things that you can make to contribute here in this forum.

This forum and community that we have here is not only about ranking up, earning money, and something like that.

We are here to build a community that is responsible, aware, updated, and knowledgeable towards the market, cryptocurrency world, and blockchain technology. We are here to become more effective in investment and in trading especially that we need to be practical and look for sources of profits.

What work exactly? There are too many works around here, you mustn't do all the works. If you are still a newbie, you shouldn't force yourself to work as well as others. Something you should do is to learn learning all the necessary information to support you to rank up. Of course, it requires a lot of time, but your focus must be learning well, not working well.

Like I explained above, your focus is learning well if you are really a newbie rank. Once you have got sufficient knowledge and experience, you can make a good opinion. You cannot force it in the early journey in this forum but needs time to master it. Don't worry, people will give you merits when you already deserve them. Just do learning well for now, boy.

Yes you are beginner but every beginner in any where, first finds and reads Guides and Help section, this is the first place you should go.

Through my time of being active on the forum, i've come to realize that, ranks aren't increased by anyone but through your pro-activeness in the forum and the quality of information you provide for other forum members. They all count towards how far and fast you can go in the forum and as such, its as well up to you and the work you put in.

So why don't you ask your senior brother how he ranked up? If I understood your reply properly, your brother is a Senior Member on Bitcointalk. Unless he only got airdropped merits, he should be able to guide you if the advice the other users mentioned in this thread is not enough. There are no rules to ranking up. Just participate in the forum discussions, share your ideas and opinions, and don't break any rules or cheat.   

It's hard to take you seriously and it doesn't look like you want to learn anything about Bitcoin or crypto in general. You opened this thread on January 28 and you haven't been back after January 29. it is still possible that you browse and view the forum while logged out, but I doubt that. A person with a genuine interest in Bitcoin, would ask a question or post something here and there.

I think that when he said "senior brother" he actually meant any veteran/more experienced member of the forum, and not his own brother.

With that being said, I don't think that he is genuinely interested in ranking up as it's been almost 3 weeks since he started this topic and he hasn't been online pretty much since then. My guess is, this is just another merit fishing attempt (and pretty bad one I must say), pretending to be a newbie and asking most generic question possible. That failed, no one gave him merit so he abandoned the account. Rinse and repeat.
