Hi Guys, a few years ago I bought some dogecoin and as you probably know its going up in price. However I have no idea how to trade it even if I wanted to. I have it in a wallet on dogechain, and I was just wondering how would I move my dogecoin from my wallet here to trade it for bitcoin or cash. :) Thanks , Nades

But my suggestion also will be Binance due to its reputation.

To move DOGE from your wallet to exchange, all you need to do is to go to the exchange and find doge coin wallet in it then simply copy paste the deposit address and the come back to wallet then paste the copied address then just send what amount you wanted to send to the exchange.

Someone already provided the link to the list of doge market and then what you need to do to send your doge from the dogechain to the exchange site's wallet account. It's pretty simple for you to do that dude.
There are bunch of intructions on internet and you can now try to googling it and you will find that easily.
The exchange site will give you the deposit address to be used to deposit your doge coin and then you can send your doge coin on this address and you will be able to send your coins.

do you already have an account on the exchange? if you don't have it then I suggest you to create an account on binance, then you click deposit then your DOGE wallet will appear there, the last step is to open your Dogechain wallet then make a withdrawal by pasting your Doge's address in binance. wait a few moments then it will be in Binance, there you can exchange it for bitcoin or your country's currency

2. Say there that you want to exchange Doge coins for Bitcoin or cash.

On the loan board you will find what you want Doge to exchange for Bitcoin.
All you need to remember is:
You are facing a Reputable member on this forum about the exchange.

The bottom line: if someone agrees you must first send Doge to the member who wants to exchange, after that Bitcoin will follow to your wallet.

Because your account is new here, why not post with the main account.

You have 2 choices.

1. Deposit it on an exchange and then sell it there thru DOGE/BTC and then withdraw your Bitcoin.
2. You might want to use Changelly or Shapeshift in exchanging so it will be less hassle for you.

Either of the 2 will do. I just hope that you are successful in exchanging your DOGE into BTC if you doesn't have any reasons of holding it.

You can deposit/trade it on exchanges like Binance or check it's market on cmc. I regret selling my DOGE years ago after seeing the DOGE price :-\

First grab most recent Doge wallet. Set it up to work and then move coins to some exchange. A lost trade Doge. I would suggest you to in advance KYC so you dont have problems latter and only then deposit coins.

You just need to find an exchange that you think is clear for you to understand how it use or exchange that available in your country if there is one exchange that you can trade doge there. As for instruction most of the exchange has guide article that they share to its users to understand more how to use their platform..

You can register on existing cryptocurrency exchanges because they are already widely available, and then you just need to send your coins to the address of the corresponding coins on the exchange and sell them. I was wondering, when you bought a few years ago how did you buy because I thought it would be weird if you didn't know how to sell it. Btw, I really regret selling Dogecoin too fast yesterday, because if I sell it at the right time then I'll be a millionaire in no time. :'(

Dogecoin is one of the old coins which has been trading on many exchanges for a long time. You can get started by visiting coinmarketcap, search Dogecoin and check the exchanges it is trading on, but personally I would suggest you trade it on Binance.
Now to trade on Binance, first create an account with your email or phone number as the case may be, confirm the registration and set up Google authenticator (2FA) in order to protect your account from theft. For easy access, download the Binance mobile app, and login thereafter, then goto your fund section, search for Dogecoin, and click on deposit to get the deposit address, then copy it. With the deposit address, head to your wallet and transfer the Dogecoin to the wallet address you copied from Binance.
Once the deposit is successful, this you will know by email, then open your Binance mobile application, go to fund section and you will see the Dogecoin, click on it and select the trading pair you want that is, Doge/BTC and so on, click on the trading pair, fill in the amount you want to sell and place the order, when it executes you will have Bitcoin.
In some other exchanges, it is almost the same process, you just have to follow it slow and steady, and get the hang of it.

Is there no Eth gas fee paid when transferring from a private dogecoin wallet to an exchange? Or the fee is paid as commission in doge?

You should have learned from your past experience about doge coin. The doge coin was getting very big impact caused by the shilling from the WSB traders on reddit and elonmusk.
The doge's pump is happening caused by the Robinhood was forcing its users to sell GME,
Crypto can take advantage from there.

not sure if you can go this far without having an account on the exchange. I would not advise you to sell your DogeCoin anywhere. because honestly, this looks ridiculous.

Looks easy I think, choose best exchange as your trading way and looking with Doge deposit address to sent your doge coin, I think right now many trader use binance as exchange site and you can trade there with your doge coin. Many people have any site exchange market depend which one process faster when your coins deposit. I think Binance so far always faster for withdraw and deposit way with your coin. Better you try to deposit now because doge looks wanna dump after ended of doge party last day with pump to higher price.

You may need an exchange, Binance will be a good exchange for you. After you open Binance you select the deposit menu on Dogecoin and copy the address on the exchange then you enter your personal wallet and make a transfer with a copy of that address. wait a while until your deposit is entered on the exchange and you can sell it according to the price there. good luck

As others have said, you need to move your Doge to an crypto exchange, trade them to bitcoin if you want. It might be a good idea to do it right away, as we don't know how long this pump is going to last though. For obvious reason, WSB is pumping it and other stocks as well.

And sooner or later there could be investors or traders that are going to liquidate Doge seeing the huge pump and of course the profits that they are going to make in this new way of web shilling for either crypto or stocks.

It's better to sell the meme coin, it's not that late from selling if he took it last year. The price was still profitable for him if he's about to sell it. @OP create a Binance account and just deposit your Dogecoin on the address that will be provided on your account.
And when you're done, do trade and sell it, it's very easy.

Lol are you joking or what? this time the price of doge is getting dumped so hard. The pump will never last forever and you must know about this dude. The rules of pump when you have been getting enough profit and you must leave the market as soon as possible to secure your position. The recovery will be only for short term but it will started to be dumped gradually.
It will not go back again very soon, It may dumped again to the 0.008

i honestly think it would not dumped lower than 1 cent cause it made a huge jump.

but honestly this coin should not go this high with so many allready in circulation and having unlimited supllies , have no any project behind this .. its make no sense ..pure pump and dump coin 

Actually i am surprised why you did not understand that how you exchange your coins as you already stored your token to a wallet. Same as you have to transfter exchanger wallet of that coin. You can see many exchanges in CMC market and you can select any of those exchanges and sell your coins by BTC pair. just it

can be traded on many exchanges and also if you don't know how you can see the tutorial on youtube, but for 1 day the price dropped drastically but that's natural after a 700% increase in a short time, this is the saturation point to buy and it's time to go back to selling.

Dogecoin was introduced as meme coin many years ago and people that are just mining it on faucet or in mining rig. By that time, Exchange for coins is not that famous because the coin itself has no value before and just use on for entertainment purposes. Most probably the OP is still new on exchange as well as transferring fund on it.

It's actually the same way of trading every coin if you want to sell it. that is, first you need to have an exchange account where you will be trading it. then you just have to send it to the exchange

Just a tip:  Better deal with Binance,Bittrex and other platforms which are mostly on top volume.Cashing or converting out to fiat will have that respective instruction.

FYI, Dogecoin is already famous before Elon Musk started promoting it. Its a famous meme coin, Elon just make the Dogecoin more famous right now by trolling it on his twitter account. Maybe you are new on crypto that's you didn't know the real history of Doge. Anyway it's good to see this coin gain a lot of value lately.

Now we can see how many people looks panic when price pumping and buy DOGE coin still have higher price, I think bad way when you buy some coin after raise higher price because looks happening now if you buy DOGE above $0.08 and now you need waiting with DOGE still lower price, maybe take few weeks waiting Elon Musk make new tweet about DOGE coin to be pump but looks very impossible in short time Doge back to higher price, how ever I check with Doge coin need few week back to higher price or maybe one and two months later to see Doge coin back again to higher price.

I hope @OP can sell his dogecoin in the dogecoin pump yesterday, and I am sure he will make a big profit if he can sell at a peak.
The profit will vary from bitcoin and fiat, but the same thing is @OP can make a profit.
The price now is down deeper, and maybe the price will be back to the price before because the party is over, and people are making a profit.
