Title: Blockchain Trading Wallet to wallet
Post by: MBoubou on February 01, 2021, 10:28:05 AM
I cannot send funds from my trading wallet to my wallet when I have sufficient funds.

Is something missing? I need to have the BTCs on my normal wallet.

When did you buy using the exchange platform of blockchain.com coz afaik all users need to wait at least 7 days for you to transfer your funds from trading wallet to your normal wallet.

Thin ! If I had known this before, I would have bought elsewhere.

Perhaps a trick to get around this? I need to transfer these BTC to another wallet.

Many newbies fall for this, which I really guess that there's no notice or message about this before someone wants to purchase on their platform.

Unfortunately, no. Waiting is the only way.

I found that it need 3 days instead of seven. Well, its "maximum" after all.
If you recently bought crypto, your purchase may be subject to a holding period of up to 3 days.

Sadly, no.

Edited.

Yet, most newbies experiencing almost 7 days of waiting instead of 3 days, so it's safe to say 7 at least.

At OP, once you transfer your funds out of blockchain, I suggest you to avoid using their platform, their exchange and wallet, they're one of the worst platform here since 2018 IMO.

You're not facing this problem alone, there are too many Blockchain.com wallet users that brought up their problem here related to yours.
For example, this thread is most likely the same as your problem, Transferring from trading wallet to wallet? Blockchain. Com (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5273020.0), or scroll down on this board and you will see different issues towards that Bitcoin web wallet.

Yeah, you need to wait more or less 7 days for the transaction to be confirmed, it shows insufficient funds because it was already transacted.
I think you will have a lesson to learn from this and give you a reason not to use again this wallet if ever you decided to transfer your fund, I suggest this wallet, Electrum (https://electrum.org/#download).  It's free to download and make sure to verify the official website first before you download, it better to have full control over your fund.

Unfortunately, there is no trick around that.

Next time try to use exchanges like Binance, Kucoin, Huobi, Bitfinex etc. Most of them now support fiat trades, deposits and withdrawals. Your only task is to look for that exchange that supports your local currency.
Just avoid Blockchain.com and their annoying exchange all together.

Just to clear it up, what happened was it used to be a 7-day period

What is the 7-day holding period?

If you recently bought crypto, your purchase may be subject to a 7-day holding period. During this time, you will still be able to use your recently purchased funds to fund additional buy orders, sell orders, and Swap trades (coming soon); however, these funds will not be available to withdraw or send to your non-custodial wallet.

then blockchain.com shortened it to 3 days which is now what we are seeing in the live article.

What is the 3-day holding period?...

@op, did you buy using your card? then reach out to their support if three days has passed and the problem still persist. I'd escalate it thru their twitter too (https://twitter.com/AskBlockchain)
