Title: evominers.com REVIEW - FRAUD ALERT !!!!
Post by: smooki3 on February 02, 2021, 11:45:32 AM
I was scammed by https://evominers.com/ !
I made my order because in their website was written that they have Linzhi Phoenix in stock. ( https://evominers.com/product/linzhi-phoenix-2600mh-ethminer/ ) which is impossible but I understood it later.. After my payment was made I realized that I was scammed, because I didn't received order and tracking number. The only conformation I received was that my money was transferred successfully.
I start searching for some information about evominers.com and asked the official manufacture Linzhi.io about this website. Unfortunately they answered me that this sale is fake and I can buy Linzhi Phoenix only from them. So now I'm left here without money and without miner.. Don't make my mistake.

Since you has deposit to that sites, better to provide some proof about the payment and conversation (if have). Follow the proper scam format below

1st of all please provide proof of your purchase that will sustain your accusations (screenshots, transaction ID, etc)
2nd thing please remember that the intention of placing an order and then not completing it it's not considered a complete order.  8)

It's a little rude of you to accuse me in lying when you have been stealing money from me and other people ! I accept that my money are already gone but don't you dare to write lies here ! What about the things I was told by the real website ? Where are those 70 miners you are having in stock ?  I will tell you where are they - They are not in your store ! I will see you in court like I told you !

This images prove nothing, they have been photoshoped starting with the name, date and order status.
Provide proof of payment and the transaction if you do not lie.
Anyone can use the inspect toll in the browser to change the text from a page, why don't you send pictures with the order payment confirmation on the checkout page or with the confirmation email, you have no transaction ID and no payment.
Well tell you what you did, you just placed a order that was in pending for payment and then you used inspect toll from the browser to change the text, either you are from the competition or just looking for some ransomware there is no need to struggle any further we've got you!

What can we say, nice try but this won't work!

I will kindly ask the moderator to delete this false accusation from the forum if the 'victim' can't prove more proof!

Hi @smooki3, sorry about the experience if it really happened to you.
Since the accused says you forged the information. Is it possible for you to forward the proof of payment. I mean the Bitcoin transaction ID. It would be good evidence that you actually spent the money on that date/time.

I will kindly ask the moderator to delete this false accusation from the forum if the 'victim' can't prove more proof!
Scam is not moderated here, and you will be wasting your time if you expect mods to delete it.  Pushing for the deletion of a scam accusation looks more suspicious to me.

Hi, since @smooki3 cann't provide proof that he was scammed and we have a plausible explanation for what he did the why call us scammers?
Please don't take this in the bad way but like any other business we're looking to clear our name from false accusations, at least changing the topic title will help. It is clear that @smooki3 was caught red-handed and he has no proof of transaction because there isn't one.

Now we're just trying to understand why de did this? For what purpose?  ???

It's true that everything can be faked, including your TrustPilot (https://www.trustpilot.com/review/evominers.com) reviews. Or we are supposed to believe that this is just a coincidence, that same users are giving 5 star reviews to same companies selling mining equipmen? I will just share 3 examples, but there are more of those.

Looks like what you said about Phoenix miners not being available by no one else other than Linzhi.io is true. I just checked their telegram group and they claimed exactly that

I found another interesting message from one of the Linzhi Telegram admins. So how it's possible that EVO Miners have 90 of those in stock?

Why you didn't answer to @smooki3 how are you selling Linzhie Phoenix and how you have 70pc in stock when you are not Linzhi.io
Are you avoiding his questions ?
No bad filings or something just asking..

Ok, that should be done but you must do something too,  provide some info on:
1) How can you sell something you don't have, the Linzhi miners
2) How can you sell with instant delivery S19pro for  $2.400 and even at a discount, lol this is funny, $1.920 for bulk order, and you're still not sold out!!!
3) Where is the warehouse featured in your video situated?
4) Explain this:

In other words you don't have answers to questions asked here so you just decided to ignore them and buy yourself some time.

That's not how legit business would react to these accusations and since it's obvious that you are nothing but a fake seller of mining equipment I tagged you and will support the flag Type 2/3 if @smooki3 decides to raise one. If he doesn't do that, least I can do is raise Flag Type 1.

In the end, even if @smooki3 didn't actually ordered miners from you that doesn't change the fact that you selling things that you don't have and that you simply can't have yet, making you scam website that should be avoided.

This is not how it works. The best thing you could do tackle what other members have asked while we wait for @smooki3
Tell as about the fake reviews, the warehouse and anything else that has been asked. Any legitimate business would be more than willing to address the issues minus looking for an excuse.

You have been exposed, there is no use in trying to cover up your scam.

I have filed numerous reports to authorities and I hope they take action to shut down your website !

I think this is sad because a lot of people have a hard time during this shit pandemic with money.

I bought a Goldshell KD5 miner yesterday and now they have deleted my account and the order is gone. I can't retrieve my account anymore so I tried to register again with the same email which worked, but my old username is taken so I got a new one. No orders in dashbord ( orders ).

I paid via BTC and got confirmation from my Binance account to the address on evominers.com that's its paid. I also followed the instructions on evominers very carefully since it was a lot of money for me, 7005 $ for this miner after discount (15% first order).

I've tried to call them but the phone is disconnected and nobody replies on the support email.

I serached evominers.com on who.is. They're located in Malaysia:
https://who.is/whois/evominers.com (https://who.is/whois/evominers.com)

My checkout page is still active even tho Binance confirmed the payment to the same BTC-address:
https://evominers.com/checkout/order-received/7603/?key=wc_order_AVWsornTFU4gW#hvycyj (https://evominers.com/checkout/order-received/7603/?key=wc_order_AVWsornTFU4gW#hvycyj)

It also says that the exact amount has to be paid, otherwise evominers will ignore the payment.
The problem is also that the confirmation time for BTC took over 40 minutes so the BTC-amount changed.

Sorry about the loss. How I wish you had come across this thread right before you made an order with them. It would have saved you from losing your hard-earned money

Goldshell do have their official shop (https://www.goldshell.com/shop/), any reason you didn't use it?

Simple, they are out of stock ;D
Every single legit reseller is either out of stock or is charging ridiculous prices as they know the demand is huge and there is basically no offer.
And here come the scammers with everything on stock and ready to deliver, not really cheap but still well below what the few legit resellers can offer, and people fell for it, especially when the website is not a simple page like usual and it does include some, I have to admit, pretty good fake videos.

I need to start tagging those the moment I see something is fishy with them, not that it will matter much but still, don't know why I waited two months.

Sorry about the loss. How I wish you had come across this thread right before you made an order with them. It would have saved you from losing your hard-earned money

Thanks to everyone we can apply some pressure upon them and stop this scammers from taking more money from other people.

I want to thanks stompix , logfiles and Rikafip for the 'flag'. This definitely will help help warn more people.

Yes, I ordered simply because the official website was out of stock and I thought that maybe evominers did buy a lot of them at release date.

Also the video is well made for sure.
Well I've learned my lesson for sure.

The video is "fake", made from a template, similar to for example this one below.
https://www.fiverr.com/madusankaviraj/make-video-clips-as-logistics-office-truck-warehouse-train
I'm sure a few scenes at least will be very familiar.

And wouldn't be surprised if you found the person speaking in their videos on fiverr as well.

They've probably used Fiverr.com to make this video. These videos are very similar:

You guys are absolutely right about the videos and there is no second opinion about that.

Today I saw the new thing about Evominers.com.
They have changed their trustpilot name to QUANTUM EVOLVE LTD, probably because of the attack against them, there are many verified reviews, these scammed people have already proved to trustpilot their legitimacy as clients and the guys from Evo got scared.

However small it may seem. It's still a big deal to them. You just made them $900 richer so that they can build more sites and continue investing in their scam. Anyway, it's good to report such incidents here. It helps those who might think about buying from them but first try to dig up and read these threads.

Hi guys,

Have you seen evominers.com soon because I just did, but with another domain name.

Those ''friends of mine'' have made another website for stealing - https://bitmain.shopping/ ( I'm 99% sure that it's them)

Probably the sells from evominers.com have gone bad so they decided to make this one. I don't know how evo continue working, but I know that the new one won't be available soon, because of copyright infringement.

Do not order from evominers.com or bitmain.shopping

Another scam website is https://bullminers.eu
 (https://bullminers.eu)
These seem like the same as you describe so please don't order from them!

The domain name says it all. They are using Bitmain to trick users into believing that they are associated with Bitmain, yet they are just scammers. The cheap .shopping extension confirms it.

The domain is also just 6 month old

You should make a special post for them too.

Jesus, all of these similar scam sites, and the EvoMiners site is still up after all these months!  Are they still using the original site to pull off these scams or what?

Looking at their page, anyone would think they're completely legitimate.  They've got an address and phone number displayed--has anyone tried to call them or has anyone looked into who the resident is at La Rue le Gros, St. Saviour, Jersey, JE2 7QP, United Kingdom (the address on their site)?

One thing that definitely sticks out like a scammer's sore thumb is this:

https://i.imgur.com/17k2A0B.png

Maybe it's commonplace for reviews like that to have what look like stock photos attached to them, but headshots like that look like they belong in the ANN thread of an ICO scam under the "team" section.  Anyway, I just stumbled upon this thread and I'm sorry you all got scammed by these dirtbags.  I can't blame anyone for falling for it, because on its face it totally looks like a legitimate business.  Yikes.

Yeah, nothing special, I was happy one day to revisit an older topic and see the domain offline when in reality it was just the one-year expiration, domain registers aren't doing s*** anymore, Namecheap used to drop Ponzi schemes and fake cloud mining domain a few years ago after enough complaint but nowadays almost all simply ignore them, they look just for profits of selling thousands of domains.

Hihi, back when they had the warehouse videos on the website, the video I asked about here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5313992.msg56259241#msg56259241)
you didn't need to pick up the phone or have somebody who lives there, you just had to wonder why is there a **** 2000 meter tall mountain doing in the background in Jersey!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D

As for legitimacy:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sk3GZZeMzhk
I've just mentioned this guy 10 days ago:
3$ for sending my details to some shady LLC that uses 10$ fiverr videos to promote itself as some reliable company, no way.
Btw, I've seen this guy (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ID1QNBEuKkY&t=20s) in 20 videos by now, is he that cheap?

I wonder how he sleeps at night knowing that all the videos he does are used to scam poeple.

If you think you've seen it all just look at this SCAM clone  https://jetminers.com/ (https://jetminers.com/)
I was watching the videos and s**t my pants, there's no way they will clone a scam and use it as a scam :))
This is ridiculous, I mean how far can it go?

You are right. I have reported a number of domains to Namecheap with legitimate scam accusation evidence and report links only to check a year later and the sites are still operating. I gave up.

Hi guys, I think I have some scammers that are connected with the websites mentioned here!
The websites are: allianceminers.com and myminershop.com

I've been scammed by myminershop.com for aproximately $3,000 and I've did some research and looks like the same scammer/scammers is/are behind allianceminers.com
The same storry, they deleted my account and came up with stupid stories and excuses!
When responding by email they have the same excuses and responses plus the webiste pages have almost the same content.
There are many websites like this and I'll do more research untill then don't buy from these guys!  :-X
