Title: Electrum Wallet 4.0.9 and Android app Post by: darkv0rt3x on February 02, 2021, 10:22:10 PM Hello.
I have created a wallet and imported one address. I don't remember back then, if I was able to add only the address (as watch-only) or if I imported the private key. But after this, is it possible to add more addresses I have, as wathc-only addresses, both in the desktop and mobile versions? I'm using Debiam Buster and Andorid phone. I searched about how to import wtch-only addresses, but all I can find is how to create watch-only addresses. Not what I need. I already have a wallet created and I want to import more watch-only addresses. Is this possible? Go to New > Enter wallet name > Click Next > Select Import Bitcoin addresses or Private Keys > Copy and paste Bitcoin addresses you want to watch You can also use master public key; Go to New > Enter wallet name > Click Next > Select Standard wallet > Use a master key > Copy and past your master public key > done Title: Re: Electrum Wallet 4.0.9 and Android app Post by: hosseinimr93 on February 02, 2021, 10:50:41 PM Yes you can import watch only address. I am not sure what exactly is confusing you I think the OP is asking how to import more addresses to an existing watch-only wallet. To OP: In the desktop version, you can add more addresses to a watch-only wallet. To do so, click on "Wallet" at top of the window and then select "Import addresses". https://i.imgur.com/qhKbOAj.jpg Note that if you have created the wallet using private key(s), you cannot import a watch-only address and you can only import private key(s). Title: Re: Electrum Wallet 4.0.9 and Android app Post by: Abdussamad on February 03, 2021, 03:28:51 PM is there a reason why you are messing about with random private keys and addresses when you could create an HD wallet with unlimited addresses? a standard electrum wallet with seed is exactly that.
