Hi everyone! Haven't been on bitcointalk for over a year. I see nothing has changed :D

What changes are you looking for? Some members have stopped posting, the price has increased, Defi is a hot topic, Uniswap,  some have been banned, and other things.
The only thing that hasn't changed is the forum code and more Merit source Merits.  :P :P

Many things were changed: Trust, feedback, and flags and merit system.

Old era Junior Members were demoted back to Newbies if they were not earned 1 merit by themselves. Being newbies mean that can not wear personal text and signature code.

Flags were created to help to overlaps between trust, feedback for non-scam activities and scam activities. Flags have three types.

Many new era of Hero members and Legendary members. They earned all merits and rank up to those 2 ranks.

I didn't mean any technical changes. I randomly read some threads and I get exactly the same vibe.

It's like when you come back home after being overseas for a year and it's still home; Even if they fixed that leaky tap in the bathroom.

If you contribute to your home there would be changes (but not bitcointalk in the regard because there are so many active users), but there can be many changes that might have taken place but not revealed so fast because you are far from home. Which just mean you have only just still visited not quite long but you are still far from home because there are many changes that took place but never seen that because you do not take time to check.

I went into your profile recently on bpip, you are not an active member, you have not been giving merit before, you have not also sent merit before even from the hero membership pregenerated ones. There are many posts that if you read, you will merit them, but because you do not read these posts and you do not contribute to this forum makes you not to know there are a lot of changes in the way people are posting. When the merit system began, you stopped posting and not active again since 2017 October, and only posted ones in 2019 before posting two times today. Likely you may still remain not active.

Check the forum very well and compare it to 2017 and see differences.

Everything changes. There is a notion that after a long absence a person has a feeling that everything has changed. But in fact, the person himself is changing. But if you don’t feel it, then you probably haven’t changed either.

A lot of things have changed. Such nonsense threads have got less to none and a section called "Off-topic" was created for such "special" discussions. but have should have been aware of that

So that's a good thing then? You have been away for a while and you feel at home again. 

I wouldn't know because I haven't been here long but I can imagine that the atmosphere was maybe a little more intimate. There were fewer members on the forum a couple of years ago than now, right?

Usually when the market is up, many members are coming back and becoming active again. The bull run is doing good and makes people come back here and join us in discussions.

it is much better if you will identify which has not changed , because if you have gone for just a year then yeah there has no changes except from the price of Bitcoin really grows high.

But if you have gone for more than 3 years ? there are lot of things that change and the first is that scam projects are now almost 100% not like in the past that they are only 20-40%.

Price increased from 4000 to 40,000 which creates buzz about bitcoin in the internet world and this could be a reason why you came back as well.

Nowadays you can see hindrance in the posting but newbies are everywhere.

It seems to me that many people are now again more active than before :)

Everything changed over a year. We still face Covid-19 in many countries, the crypto market getting better than the last year, we changed ourselves to be a better person, and else. Bitcointalk itself changes, and nothing the same as before.

The crypto market now increase so high, and bitcoin prices hit the new ATH before, and the progress to make another new ATH is ongoing. So we can see the next high price of bitcoin, and if you have money, you can buy bitcoin before the price increases.

 ;DThe Bitcoin forum is still a gathering place for Bitcoin enthusiasts. Although there are many newcomers this year, the overall atmosphere is still better than other forums.

yeah Nothings  change , Still scammer and hacker all over the place , Are you leaving again now since there's nothing changed?
new comer or new Farm account ? that is far different , new comer meaning exploring the forum , But account farmer is Creating account to make another spam in this forum.

Nice to have you around these parts.  Where here we just like to babble and talk about things on the minds.  No drama or bad mouthing you will experience here.

I also haven't visited this forum for over a year. And when he returned three months ago, he also saw nothing new. But when I started looking through the topics here, I began to notice the changes. Stay with us and you will see it all.
