My $350-$850 journey in 1 month

I don't tell my self as a expert trader. But i am not newbie also. But i can rank me as a average trader. I follow some rules to trade with my money. But last month we saw a huge pump and dump in crypto. From 4th January 2021 i decided to do a test in spot trading on binance. Then i start with $350. In spot trading. After a whole month today i am happy with this result.  I make a profit of $500. Truely this is huge if you are newbie because for newbie future trading is not user friendly. And i have done this trade as a test perpose. So if you are newbie you can start with spot trading.  It is a friendly suggestion for everyone. It is not for expert traders. Because you guys know what you have to do. Newbie guys can take a safe profit with spot trading and learning more for future trading.

Keep safe spot-trade, safe game, safe money and safe profit.

This is a friendly motivation for all of my crypto users who wants to start a trading journey. If a single person get motivated by me then it will truly make me happy.

I am not a signal provider or a trading teacher. I just share my result with you. You please learn your self. And don't believe anyone who says they trade for you and take a percentage from your profit. They can scam with you. Please be aware from this type of scam and make a healthy trading place.

Great job! Is this all BTC/USDT trades? If it involved altcoins, can you share some of the trades you did without mentioning the exact coins or tokens unless you want to. How many trades in total and how many trades per day on average?

Keep up the good work. Just remember to not be overly confident just yet because 1 month is quite a short time to make conclusions about your trading skills. You can do make good money in your first month and do really bad in the following months.

I'm not trying to scare you by the way, just giving you some advice to not set yourself for a disaster. :P

Your efforts should be appreciated, because you are able to manage properly and carefully, in terms of trading, it is not about experts or beginners. You only need to dig into learning from every second, know every information, find various ways, strategies, methods and even decisions when taking a position. keep improving, and you will have more benefits than now.

that's the beauty of trading, you are able to change your profits if coupled with sincerity in doing so. you are extraordinary for this 1 month achievement.

Luck or perfect analyze gave you this result but you can expect the same amount of returns all the months because we never know how the market movements will be in future. So don't consider you mastered in trading with a test trade, just always remember the risk of losing your portfolio value in no time because the dump can occur any time in crypto market.

That's a good profit that you've made. It's not easy to make money with spot trading but so you did.

Keep doing it and be consistent and I believe that you can make another additional 25% from that profit you've made or even more for the next month.

looking at your trading journey, it seems you are the patient type of trader. when the current price increase is extraordinary you can get $ 500 profit and you are not tempted to sell when the profit is $ 300 or $ 400 but you wait until the profit is $ 500. that is a very good step, with that much profit you can make a withdrawal of the capital you used for the first time and maybe you can use the capital from the profit as much as $ 500 so that your next trade can be said to be trading without capital because what you get is pure without using your own money, continue and stay patient to always get a lot of profit, I pray that you can become a rich person this year with a pretty good first step.

Congrats on your success OP. Regardless of the amount, it's high commendable especially since you did it using spot trading. Today, it's a norm for everyone to trade on futures market whether they are experienced or not. Nobody wants to stick to the good old spot trading again and just want to leverage up and make money. Your "test" trades result is proof that a lot more can be achieved with spot trading. That's almost 1.5x of your starting capital. I love to see it  :)

Good man, at least someone shows proof that trading is really profitable as long as you know what you are doing. When I was previously doing spot trading, and I'm no expert as well, but I also made some profits from time to time. Didn't focus that much though, just prefer to HODL right now.

But in any case, newbie can still make money, another lesson is not to be greedy and just take small baby steps and as you gather experience, you might risk big to win big.

Good to see that you do make out money but this line is a bit exaggerated and shouldn't really be put up in mind because  you might really able to make profits today or for this month
but doesnt mean that you would definitely do the same on next month which someone shouldnt really be having this kind of mindset because this would just frustrate you out

Great job OP. To be honest, I have never made such profits percentage wise within 1 month while spot trading. I always found it harder to make over 150% in profits as compared to my margin trading results. That's one hell of achievement for you! Whatever strategy you are using, it must be awesome  ;)

You are right, future trading is not a place for newbies. It is not enough when you know the basic technical analyst strategy, you have to be an expert when you start to trading in the future market. I still remember when I started to trading future market, I spend $700 as the main capital. And do you know what I get from my trade in one month? I lost all of them and yeah I really regretted it.

Trading in the future market never make you comfortable when you don't know the ins and out of the characteristic the market itself. Especially the leverage utilization, if you don't know how much leverage that you have to choose then just wait for the second you will lose your money, believe me. I agree trading spot is the best way to start or someone who just learning how technical analyst work. You will be comfortabel although you have seen your investment is decreasing.

This is just for a month, that is huge. Just keep what you are doing, you are on the right track, working on strategies and I think you know the trend already. Just be consistent in what you do, you don't need to change anything with your trades as it was fined and good.

There is only one thing I can say to you is you don't need to be more greedy because this loosens you up and change your mindset.

That's more than 100% gain in a month and I could say that congratulations. Not all can be brave enough to risk such money and let it swing on the foot of losing. But that's how trading it is, if you risk something and have some confidence surely its gonna reward you with more blessings. Spot trading is the best one for me. I dont think future tradkng is really for a trial and error trading cause it could ruin your funds instantly. Slowly but surely will make you profits. Learn more parameters and technique. Later on you can increase your chance to gain more in a more safer method.

and are you only Trading in USDT/BTC? That's my regret because i have the same amount in my Binance account week ago but instead of keeping in Bitcoin i stupidly transfer to other coin and that's it , dumped lol..

Trade is much easier to make a profit if you have the right idea about trade there is a lot of good news for you that 1 month test trade results have earned 500. If you are aware of this section you will be able to get more than this. There will be risks to trade don't be discouraged, believe and move forward without risking you can follow the trading techniques and signals, you will be able to understand the exact price of the currencies and you will be able to make even more profit.

Going good mate. You should now start thinking about wider portfolio so that you can have more gainers and this way you can overcome the losses in the future if any. I mean for now it seems you are only going after btc/USDT which is pretty stable trade. I am also concluding that you got so much profit because bitcoin was very graceful giving dam good volatility since couple of month. It’s pretty strong factor for spot trading.

Just go ahead with wide portfolio and you may go green twice or thrice what you have currently.

the stop-loss feature when trading Bitcoin, because Bitcoin prices are very volatile. So it could be that at any time the price suddenly falls, then
totally agree with the opening post that don't believe the signals given by other people. Because it is not certain that the signals given by other people
are accurate, therefore it is better to do our own analysis for the decisions we will take.

Great job @OP. You made a nice profit. I am sure you will have more chances to make another profit. If you can still learn more lessons, you will have those chances to buy low and sell high.

I like "Keep safe spot-trade, safe game, safe money, and safe profit." We don't have to chase every profit, and it is better to be careful and take profits while you can, but don't be greedy because the market can change the direction. If you can still trade like that, I am sure your profit will be bigger.

You did well, however whenever I see those kind of profits it worries me, for the most part in order to get profits like that the risks you have to take are important and while you were able to obtain profits at the same time this is only the result of a single month using your strategy, and that is not long enough to tell for sure if what you are doing will allow you to be profitable over the long term.

So be careful, as it is not rare for traders to get those results and then believe they have a winning strategy only to lose everything during the next months when using that very same strategy.

Don't be carried away with good profits you made with trading in the month of January. Remember that we are in a bull market and in these days if you invest in any coins, 80% of the chances is that it will go up so its easy to make profits. I hope you continue to make profits in next months also but keep note that results may not be favorable in bear market.

Again with luck, don't go all praising your wins because of luck, it invalidates your efforts into something as simple as just throwing a dice. I would go with the perfect analysis because I do believe that the OP has the skill and as OP mentioned, OP is an average trader so OP knows the basics and in and outs of trading. OP just found in his/her analysis that the prices are still going high for awhile so OP seized the opportunity to do spot trading, the only luck that I considered in this situation is that OP has discovered bitcoin and tried to do some trading with it, I mean not everyone will accept the opportunity to learn about bitcoin and trading.

This is an inspirational move you have that in just short of time you made gains such a huge amount. Your trading skills gives good in return. This also motivates other traders not to lose hope even they experience losing money in trading. Because not all trader becomes successful in this journey and glad you did well and make a profit.

I like this statement at the end because I was feeling like someone is going to sell their trading script or trick as some people do. I am happy for you Imran and keep earning and it is absolutely fine to share some tips and basics about trading here. The problem starts when you start selling those tricks because then you are not trying to help instead trying to sell your methods.

Despite your great profit, I would suggest that don't get carried away because there was a bull run going on as we all know and usually people think they are good at trading while the truth is that they just got lucky as they traded during bull run. I am not saying you are not capable but all I am suggesting is that keep the focus and make sure you are learning the process and basics rather than just watching the profits.

Yes indeed and I would like to see if OP took too many risks or if there was a safe way to achieve such profits because lets be honest trading can be almost similar to gambling if not taken seriously and you might 10x your money with a new coin but next day lose everything.

Agree. I have seen some of the best traders getting overconfident and losing their grip on the trading skills. Another thing I would like to ask is was he doing leverage trading? Because I still cannot believe someone can make that kind of profits within the first month unless they got super lucky with some coin or just naturally too good.

This is one of the powers of spot trading.
I also ever got this, getting around $200 of XRP in 2 days.
However, after that, I lose around $100 balance because of the decreased price of XRP, until now, still holding some.  :D :D

This is what makes Bitcoin and crypto special. We can get big profits surprisingly only in a short time. However, we can also lose a lot of money in short time also.

Amazing profit! Keep it up and never look back. The proven trading statement is better than full false promises and I prefer to trade the spot market with my spot balance too instead of risking it with leverage. Did you ever think about long term trading? The swing or day trading is risky compared to the long term. If you go to trade long term crypto pairs, you will have a high chance of hitting the profit target. Otherwise, it will take longer than usual to get the same profit with day trading, from my experience.

Did you make several trades here? Or hold mostly at the time?

As everyone knows, just by holding our hold coins even with few spot trading on the action, PNL percentage can reach up to +100%.

This is a huge profit man also I would like to ask didn't you also include other coins on this trade or just only the BC/USDT also just wondering about your PNL stats because this stated you're earning on a week or months. This kind of trader is the one most need to.be followed because there are a lot of new traders giving all in their funds after on it loss up because of higher leverage.

He buys at a low price then traded at a high price, easy $500 profit in a few days. Well, he got so lucky because the market is trending high but the test for every trader when the market dump right after they bought some crypto. I'm not sure if OP could manage his emotions and make another $500.

BTW, I suggest not to send anyone asking for help because we wanted to learn how to trade, I'm worried about if that will turn you into a scam. It happens several times and it seems like you wanted it to happen to you. Well, That's your choice mate, I use YT for these tutorials instead.

Just do something different if your strategy do not work at all.

You are right. The most important thing is that you learn from your mistakes and from other people experiences. With that try to make a strategy that works for you.

Even though it's fine to enjoy the profit you got from trading, you shouldn't let these possibly short-term gains fool you, market can be really brutal at times and you just happened to start your trading journey in a bull market where you can not just go wrong since almost everything is going up in USD/USDT value.

Getting a good profit out of trades have one negative effect if you're inexperienced and that is giving you false sense of confidence which could eventually lead you down a path of not using stop-loss or not taking profit when you had the chance which is not a pleasant experience to say the least.

So keep using stop-loss/take-profit at all times and don't ever think about not using them no matter how sure of that specific trade you are because crypto market can change from green to red rather fast and you don't want to lose the profit that you just got + maybe more money because you did not manage your risk exposure properly.

Now that is some very nice profit indeed. You can take aside the $350 capital you initially invested and play more with the $500 profit you earned.
You can try turning that $500 into $1000 and in the process, even if you lose some, it won't be that big a deal because you had taken out your capital amount already.

To be honest according to recent market conditions trader has a very chance to win in every trade and make huge profits. That means It's quite easy than bearish market.

And you have to keep continue this in bullish or bearish market. You just made profit in one month. Then if you can not make it next month or lose then it could not be a good conclusion. So always try to secure your profit.

You have made this profit using your trading knowledge which is really good news. Since it was to test trading skills, I think you did a good job. Many traders come to trade without knowing exactly how to trade, which is why they trade with more funds in the first place and lose their own funds.

I like your strategy, you should test trade with a small amount of funds to know about the market before making a big investment.

I really thought at first that you traded in futures or spot traded daily, but you just held 350USD worth of BTC at its 30KUSD price point -- which then turns 40K now leaving you with 500USD worth of profit. Never turned bad, indeed. But don't be too greedy and be ahead of yourself. As a suggestion, better take that 500USD and turn it back to USDT leaving you with back to your capital, then go start again with that profit. Why? The market now is too volatile, your holdings in btc might be 850 usd but it would soon be back to 350 once it reached 30K again. And getting your profit at this point wouldn't really be regretful as you already had your profit which is twice as your capital.

But if you want to risk it and keep it in BTC, it's up to you. Good luck dude. It's really nice to see some people earn such amount in a month.  ;D

I just started doing the same thing for this month and I’d hope that I make the same profit and hopefully not to lose money. Trading is very challenging and very few succeed simply because they created their own strategy and they didn’t depend on any trading signal, we can always win in this market if we stay disciplined.

Let me me first say, you have done a great job with what you have done or make with your Investment. $350 turned to $850. A margin of $500 in ther space of just one month. Just like what you said, you are not a newbie, that means you have been doing this for quite awhile now. But that is not the big deal. You have been able to only to double your money but almost times three. And any newbie reading this should not think trading is that easy, so you won't go amd put all your life savings on it. Lete shock you. You can lost everything in just a day. So, care has to be taking while Trading.

Excellent results if you are trading BTC/USDT only! This particular pair is too wild for me and I'm trading altcoins.

What strategy are you using to guess the price direction? Or you are using another approach, maybe?

Good money for a profit  within  this short period  of time. Spot trading  is always cool, I see future trading as very risky for inexperienced  traders.  In terms  of making  success with trading,  it requires  constant practice  and dedication  to gain that experience. Although  there may be unexpected  pumps and dumps, with  little experience,  traders are able to take profit  most of the time.

I agree, $500 within one month is a great start... Even if you get this profit from altcoins it is still alright. In fact, you could even do better the only difficulty is of course, picking the right project at the right time, typically, before it does an ATH.

I think you could still do better, especially given the bull-run we're on where there are hundreds of coins that go bull-ish before sinking so if you could get on one of those waves you will reach >1K. Anyway, not bad!

Active on trade or not, the current bull run helps our portfolio becomes green.

I also profited over $500 within a month but mostly by holding with only a few trades for BTC and BNB. I don't think I can call that achievement as the only reason my assets go up is because of the bull run and not thru trading regularly. The quantity remains the same with only a few added thru small trades.


Speculations mostly. When the BTC price reached its new ATH, it's suggested that fill the bags more for an expected continuous big wave and it happened!

Exactly, because when it never reached such highs before, we don't get to know the possibly new support and resistance areas where BTC might gain / lose momentum. This time, profits are all there because we know that institutions are buying it, so holding on it is a "once in a lifetime" kinda opportunity. And tbh, whenever we don't know where will these S&R be, we simply "hope & expect" the price to go there which is why some ridiculously wild speculations on the price of BTC are being made.

A good point. The growth was involved with some big institutions taking part. It's not a growth that is just purely based on positive speculations unlike in 2017 that the growth is not generic resulting in a big crash the following year.

If continues, OP's $500 profit within a month can grow more through a well-planned trading strategy. He did a great job on his monthly result so just maintaining it along the way will be the key to more profits in his 2nd month.

This is what I like about Bitcoin trading, because it doesn't take a long time to make a big profit. And the opening post has provided evidence

As long we know how to spot trade, profits will come but it may still depend on the market situation.

OP has to say that he is in the perfect timing where most coins in the market are rallying high. If that he can make $500 in the past days but not guarantee it keeps the momentum especially when huge corrections will happen.

I want tell you that as a junior trader you make very good amount from your crypto Trading. You make 500 usd in one month. This is very good news and very inspiration for newbe trader's.  But i think it maybe more better if you shared your knowledge with this Forum, then it will very helpful for Newbe Crypto Trader's.               

Perfect result with your trading profit and I think when new trader wanna try with cryptocurrency trading they will get the same like you but should patient how waiting for new position entry, I think why many people failed when trading because they not have enough patient when buying or selling coin, always panic after see coin raise to higher price and keep to entry position buy although coin have raise higher price.

If you started with 350 dollars and ended up with 500 dollars pure profits that’s a good achievement, and if you can be doing this on a consistent manner then you will be able to get to a stage where you can have more money to trade with and make more than that. Trading is all about long term persistence; it means some week you may book profits and other weeks you may not but at the end of the month, you need to keep your portfolio in profits. The real enemy for all trader is emotion. I am happy for your result. it means you are the winner on controlling your own emotion, especially if you do a futures trading.
I stop doing trading for a while now because few days ago i lost all my deposit money when i did futures trading on kucoin. it's all my fault, i take all order position based solely on intuition just because i win it in the first time. now i understand, we have to have our own rules on trading.
my rules to share is :
1. don't be too confident, the market doesn't move your way
2. never trade on futures (except you can make constant profit on spot trading for months)

His attitude lead him to that place so congratulations OP he did a good job and it makes more disciplined in this whole month , he made a lot of progress and he made a good choice of coin pair as well, btc/usdt shows the best trend this month a lot of news came in our market that makes it more known all over the world, institutional already adapting bitcoin such as tesla and it influence people to invest in bitcoin so that is the reason he made a large gain this month.

Congratulations on your earnings. I'd say you made a quite decent profit. Well, I believe this is one of the best times to trade, where there is a lot of signals and trend you can ride to in order for you to have a successful trade. Through right entry and good signals will certainly bring profit. I also agree that spot trading would be safer for newbies to take as the risk exposure on this one is not as like futures trade have. Futures require a lot of experience and make sure always updated on the current trend because one mistake could burn all of your capital. And to be honest, sometimes I am having difficulties on this one.

Well played OP, You really did well on trading. It's a good move to trade into spot trading first, There are many newbies who traded into futures and got liquidated and quit trading for the good. I have a friend who chooses trading on futures instead on spot first, I am strongly advising that it would be better and safe on spot trading first but I think he just wants to earn fast profits  :-\  btw he's a newbie, I just feel that he is just playing gambling not trading.

I had a discussion with one close friend the other day... he is in crypto for maybe a year, but he is only active in the last month or two when prices started rising. And he is explaining to me some of his strategies, and I didn't even disagree with him, I just wanted to share easier and maybe more profitable ways, if he continues with the same strategies...
In the end, I had to explain to him that in the last month or two the prices are rising, only fools losing money with trading now! Now it's easy, but this will not last forever... we will see correction eventually, and trading will become harder... I just wanted to explain to him he needs to be prepared for that! Or any other situation!
So trade, have fun while market is high, but put something aside for long, save some stable coin if price drops to have for buying... have some coins for selling if the price continues to rise! Protect yourself from all sides and whatever happens, you will have some plan!

Congrats on that, it’s really not easy lol. Trading and making that kind of profit is difficult, that’s about more than twice of what you have invested for trading which is very good. And not be over confident in yourself at this time so that you don’t end investing when you’re making the wrong choice which will eventually lead to your loss. You still have to be thinking everything through before you make any other decision. And it would be really good if you can state more info on your trade, like how you’re able to and the strategy and all that.

Very good result in a month. Can you share your trading strategy? Or did you just buy at the bottom and sell bitcoin at the top? Have you been involved in trading altcoins or just bitcoin?

Pretty great results! I'd be happy if I made 100 Euros a month by trading, lol. I've been messing around the past few months but didn't have huge success to be honest. It would be a pleasure if you or someone else could post some general advice. Would be nice to hear it from someone who  successful. (At least more successful than me lol)

I am not a good trader, I always think that it's a good exit when I am in 10-30% profit. and after a few days, boom... the price skyrocketing to 100-500%  ;D
honestly, I have never used any technical analysis, indicators, and whatsoever when I trade.
I used to read news and updates regarding the crypto that I want to trade.
based on my experience, doing nothing (hodling) is more profitable than trading.
