Title: Best place to try technical analysis indicator Post by: RapTarX on February 05, 2021, 07:28:40 PM I was never that good at trading cryptos, nor I had tried to learn it deeply. Lately, I'm trying to learn TA to see how things go on. Is there any place to practice the TA where indicators are available for cryptocurrencies? I guess tradingview is one of them but it seems quite advance level to me.

I think trading view is what all of the trader is using to make TA in every chart it is just an exchange feutures that will help you to make lines or drawings clearly, your notation easily if you are doing fib or looking for golden ratios. I use 3 exchanges and all of them is using 1 site which is trading view. Just continue to read and make some entry for you to test yourself if you are learning and you are ready for trading. There's a free tutorial in telegram as well made by Teo. It's not as advanced as you think once you get used to its bro. I first learned technical analysis using tradingview while watching some YouTube videos and reading some trading blogs. With time, you find yourself getting used to the tool.i would also like to suggest a few alternative market analysis you can use depending on your interests;

Tradingview is good, it's not that advance. I think what you think the 'advance' there are maybe some indicators.But if you will try it, some tools on the chart are very simple. My advice is to familiarize first how tradingview works, how the chart works, horizontal line, trend line, vertical lines, etc. Speaking of technical analysis indicators, much better if you start with basic first, avoid those complex indicators that will just make your chart dirty. Indicator such as RSI (momentum indicator), moving averages (MA), and you may try draw some trendline, (support & resistance) or some chart patterns or candlestick patterns. Trading view has some types of accounts, Basic, Pro, Pro+, Premium. You can use it without registration but if you don't register, you will be terminate after 30 minutes or 1 hour (I don't remember exact time).The more indicators you add to your chart, the more direction loss you will face with. I think a Pro account with the cost at $155 each year is enough to use. Quote I guess tradingview is one of them but it seems quite advance level to me. Advanced? Really, you can use any available indicator you want with your account type. Basic or advanced, it is not a matter, but the matter is choose the one that works with your trading traits.Title: Re: Best place to try technical analysis indicator Post by: showtime_trader on February 06, 2021, 08:11:23 AM There is a website with indicators technical https://tradingkit.net/indicators/ . They are for MetaTrader 4 but still there are plenty of brokers that now offer crypto instruments there for trading.

As the name suggests, it is a trading bot, but you can also use it to find new strategies and even test them against historical market data:
Quote Gekko will take care of: The installation itself is straigth forward and the UI is very clear and very easy to understand. The big advantage here is simply that Gecko already comes with features that you have to pay for on other platforms.

As I'm very beginner, I can't use them properly; hence having premium account makes no sense at this point I guess.
Thanks Lakai01, it makes sense to use the gecko bot. I will try out this. |
