ALTs most likely to be pumped appear to fall into two separate categories.

#1  ALTs with ties to JP Morgan, microsoft and big business. Ethereum and ripple are examples.

#2  ALTs where founders are uninvoled with development & do not have stockpiles of coins HODL'ed.  Dogecoin is the best example here.

The strategy for regulators and central banks appears to be a selective approach of them determining which coins are allowed to succeed or fail.

This is perhaps reflected by some exchanges delisting privacy coins like dash, zcash and monero.

Bitcoin market price is already too high with a market price of 40k$ its difficult to make a profit because you need to buy a big volume of it.

I think ETH is the best choice as a 2nd best crypto or altcoins in the market, best when it comes to investment and as a cryptocurrency together with bitcoin as a digital currency in the future.

If the crypto era continues this could be the future but we never know what might happen in the coming years or what the government could do about it.

Bitcoin is a blockchain project and it has own unique blockchain compared to other blockchain project like ETH, ETH and many more. They are all competitors to each and they will never synchronized to each other since they have different protocol and the team behind has different vision that’s why many blockchain project exist in the first place.

If the one you are pointing out is the technical aspect, there’s no Blockchain project that will work with BTC.

ETH is one of the partners who have the right and the right to always partner with Bitcoin. in multiple perspectives we've seen it. to answer to the future of altcoin ETH is leading the market to increase its popularity. However, with one condition, ETH must be able to realize the transfer fee which until now has not been taken seriously. because for users this remains a factor of instability to foster ETH trust in the eyes of traders and investors.

Syscoin.

It is merge mined with Bitcoin so theoretically you could mine both with the same hashpower (if you find a pool that supports merge mining).

Syscoin is somewhere between Ethereum and Bitcoin. It allows you to create UTXO SPT (Syscoin Platform Tokens) and in the future NFTs (Non fungible tokens)

An NFT could be used to denote ownership of a piece of land and can be broken down into fractions.
SPTs can be like tokens.

Also it used to have (and probably will have) a decentralized market right on the wallet.

It also has the capability to do 60-300k TPS (transactions per second) with low fees.

HOWEVER

It's not nearly as decentralized as Bitcoin since it now runs a masternode network.

And it also has a company behind it, they keep syscoin open source but some of the wallets have proprietary tech.

Also it's not very widely recognized. The community is small and passionate but a lot of good projects have gone the wrong way in the past.

Among the list I only represent Bitcoin and and if crypto-currency will be in the future, Bitcoin will be at the heart of things, am not an alt-coin holder yet, I don't have any Ethereum based wallet or have any alt-coin on any wallet but the side by side movement of Bitcoin and ethereum is iconic so I don't know how they would be placed in the future but the two coin of the future on your list in my opinion are those two -Bitcoin and ethereum-.

I think ETH will be used in the future with bitcoin and now we can see ETH has a good rating and in this few weeks has grown well (Price now 1,682.22 $)
so in future ETH can be used with Bitcoin and make combination with bitcoin and another Digital currencies.
ETH is very difficult to use, high fees and long transaction processing time are still the problems...
Tron, Dogecoin, and Polkadot are very good in mass use, low fees and speed of transaction processing need not be doubted.

LTC, Ethereum, BCH, or other altcoins; which ones will be used in combination with Bitcoin in the digital future ahead of us?

I Think Stellar Lumens (XLM) and Binance Coin (BNB) is a good candidate IMHO because both platforms are fast, reliable and stable in terms of transaction fees unlike Ethereum and its ERC20 DEXes it becomes worse and unstable nowadays and it's not a good indication for a supposed to be one of the most used and admired Blockchain Platform after Bitcoin. If the Ethereum Developers will not find a solution to that problem it might cause a serious problem in the near future.

Sometimes they are correlated with bitcoin's price increase and sometimes not. But just for my personal opinion, I'll go ahead and say that these coins are the ones that's a good combination for bitcoin to have if you're for the investment.
- Ethereum
- Litecoin
- Dogecoin

Polkadot is Bitcoin-friendly since they are about to create a trustless bridge between BTC and polkadot, its called PolkaBTC/ (https://polkadot.network/bitcoin-is-coming-to-polkadot/) if you have been following polkadot since its release, there had been much development for the future and Interlay just made it possible. more similar to RenVM where we can lockup BTC to mint RenBTC. and so we can consider Ren to be bitcoin friendly as well.

More friendly in terms of network speed? Transaction fee? Privacy? Transparency? Or based on what terms???

Each crypto is somewhat created with an existing idea so basically, very few networks are real and all the others are clones with minor changes from Bitcoin or ethereum.

each year we have seen new project on top10/ top100 coins by market cap so I think that probably other coins will be take good attention from the crowd. Likewise I am waiting for Iost or Loopring to have an impact on Internet 3.0 and many other useful usage like DeFi.
or probably something that could be helpful even in real world (like crypto that are widely accepted on shops...)

For sure, no one coins (other than bitcoin forks ;D) has tried to be "not friendly" with bitcoin.
I remember the first altcoins launched like IXcoin or the same LTC designed to not interfere with bitcoin mining!

How about Stacks?

Stacks connected to Bitcoin and its enabling you to build apps, smart contracts, and digital assets that are integrated with Bitcoin's security, capital, and network.
You can also support the network’s security and consensus by locking your STX temporarily. Then as a reward you’ll earn Bitcoin that miners transfer as part of Proof of Transfer.

I think it is ETH for me. But we all know that when bitcoin is pumping all alts are bleeding and that will be the costs of price dumping of alt coins but eth will remain the same, it will not be affected or it will be affected but not entirely, after bitcoin's correction that is the time when all alts will pump top and we can say that it is finally the altcoin month. Eth will remain as well as USDT, since it is a stable coin so when bitcoin dumps I will convert my money to usdt first so the value can be preserve.

Haven't you considered coins that are used to shop in a mall? have you thought about such coins before, is Bitcoin and ethereum among those coins? If yes, these are the coins to be used in the future and beyond.

In other words, many rivals coins are erupting within the crypto space, Dot threatening ethereum as Neo and EOS did in the past, so what's next after bitcoin is ethereum which is the next future coin after bitcoin rather friendly as you call it.

It should be litecoin, consider about this will be the lite version of bitcoin but there's also possibility for ethereum or smartcontract platforms to make a combination with bitcoin.
I just vote for litecoin. It's an experimental chain for bitcoin and this is happening since a long time ago.
Do you know RSK and sovryn? both will be used in combination with bitcoin in smartcontract service on bitcoin (RSK) and Defi service (sovryn).

Litecoin and Ethereum I chose these two altcoins because these two coins are old coins, they came where bitcoin was not long after birth,
and is still very popular today, 10 years for bitcoin and almost 7 years for Ethereum and Litecoin, the future will be in the top 3 coins,
and will always be used by people, oh yeah don't forget Tron, because this project is very extraordinary to change the world too

Think about USDT, because only that altcoin will be soulmate with bitcoin because people had dollar know how to back it and exchange it for bitcoin. but the problem is the high erc20 token fee. The only way is DOGE, this the best soulmate, with a low fee, and almost every exchange had fair BTC/Doge vice versa.

Its either ETH (https://trade.kucoin.com/ETH-BTC) or LTC (https://trade.kucoin.com/LTC-BTC). These two are the best alternative for BTC. These two are huge in every way possible right now especially ETH. LTC is having a fallback right now but its just temporary as far as I know. Get either one for huge profit in the long run.

I don't think that any of these coins are liked to Bitcoin. Earlier, Namecoin was linked to Bitcoin because the Bitcoin miners used to mine NMC simultaneously with BTC. I don't know what happened to that coin, as it looks like it has become dead or dormant. All the other coins that are listed by the OP are competitors for Bitcoin for the purpose of making payments. BCH in particular, was forked out due to differences in block size and I would never consider it as being "friendly" with BTC. In fact, the BCH developers and supporters such as Roger Ver want BCH to replace BTC.

for me, still eth is the next to btc especially now that most of the new project like 80%-90% of them are erc20 based token. It should be enough to say that eth are still soaring high and becoming great each and every day.
It's not talking about the coin that has potential to be the next bitcoin but we are talking about the coin that has possibility to work together with bitcoin. Ethereum will never able to work together with bitcoin.
Litecoin and its protocol can be useful for bitcoin to develop the next proposal to be used to fix the problem that is still happen on bitcoin.

BCH has no possibility as it has different vision. Litecoin is the only coin that has a chance to work together with bitcoin.

You missed the point of top altcoins. Here Ethereum and Litecoin are safe, but Litecoin doesn't touch the ATH. Now I would prefer to invest in altcoins. Top altcoins are a highly risky investment but top altcoins will surpass the highest ATH after finishing this year. Bitcoin investment are always safe with low profit.
Yes, there are some potential altcoins, but for ethereum there is no doubt,
and if you are sure you want to invest in altcoins make sure we have to research first,
because if the origin of investing is certainly a wrong decision in my opinion,
so before investing in altcoins we have to think carefully because if not we can regret it later

In terms of usage right now we've got bitcoin in the top. Apart from this there is nothing like combination, but based on usability XRP leads the market. XRP is the one that has got more usage on transaction support through its ripple network. This is criticized as the centralized platform, however it keeps widening through different partnerships with banking sector. Even if there is no much demand, surely it'll achieve good position through its continued partnering on banking.

Ethereum should be the first coin to be chosen for the next great digital future. It is the king of altcoins, so we all know how good this coin. The value of Ethereum also increases significantly currently. Even Ethereum can reach its new ATH in the last few days. I think it is a great performance of Ethereum and it deserves to be chosen for the combination with Bitcoin.

I will definitely agree with Ethereum, its like the wife of bitcoin.. It recently just hit its new ATH too which is over $1700! currently having its correction so its a good time to bag some of it.  Litecoin is still unpredictable one although its a good investment too

Are you serious about Dogecoin? Is it because of the pump that happened to Dogecoin that you say that? everyone here knows how LTC is, and some may agree with you. But for Dogecoin, I think there would be a lot of controversies if you thought it was better than other altcoins.

You are right there, they can only say now because of its upward movement.  That only happens because of the influence and the spreading hype.  When it comes to the point and gradually the trend stops I just do not know if they can say the above mentioned.  But if you want to know what is going on in its development, there is none.  I do not understand what OP means.  But for me, USDT and BNB for trading purposes.  TRON and DOGE for gambling.  So far, both BTC and ETH are not fee friendly.

Bitcoin is our digital gold, in the future we need a strong structure for the technology and in this can help us Ethereum but it has some problems with the fees. I hope this problem will be solved by ETH 2.0. We also need a coin for pay and there are a lot of altcoin that can be used for this, an example is LTC but imho NANO could be the real solution, it is instant e feeless!

It's Ethereum for me the king of all altcoins out there, it's the only altcoin that always try to show strength whenever bitcoin is pumping while others dump, eth follows bitcoin movements its just like a king (BTC) and a prince (ETH), litecoin also tries to follow bitcoin movements but not as much as eth, the only issue people find in eth this days is the high cost for gas fees, it's something that should be fixed before it gets out of hand, apart from that bitcoin and Ethereum are the right combination.

maybe ethereum, because ethereum has long been ranked 2nd in the CMC market or by the second largest market cap after bitcoin itself. I haven't seen any other coin that can really replace ethereum's position and this shows that Ethereum is very feasible and profitable to invest in in the future.

It's difficult to determine, because the topic you made is a little abstract, what do you mean by friendly? is it close to bitcoin? or what? because of many factors with which to look at it. But if based on market cap, only ethereum is so far close to bitcoin. Because since a few years ago, ethereum was still able to stay in the market capitalization ranking.

In fact, no coin will ever be bitcoin-friendly.  I think Bitcoin is independent and unique.  others are often inspired by bitcoin like bitcoin cash, bitcoin gold ... a lot but really there is not much correlation to call friendliness.  therefore, assistance is not implied under certain conditions.  And that things are really hard to think of properly.

Title: Re: Which altcoins are more friendly with Bitcoin?

There's no coin that is friendly with bitcoin as when bitcoin dump, they also dump hard, when bitcoin pump, altcoins might pump hard or some will not even pump. The market though it all belongs to the crypto market, we can still consider that competition do exist, and that's the reason why we have a stable coins because altcoins and bitcoin does not necessarily move together.

As we can see now, the bull run is already happening and yet we still see that some altcoins are not pumping, it means bitcoin does not influence them.

Maybe you should look at the trading volume of the coins, mostly in the top 10-50 in the CMC as they are likely to succeed.

Your prediction is too right. ETH, LTC, BCH, BNB are the mirror of BTC. These coins follow the way of BTC and if you do some research then you can assume that these coins' strategy and policy are similar to bitcoin. These altos are doing so well in this current market as well. As BTC goes beyond to make a profit for the new user in this current market situation so that I can say these altos are the right choice to make a profit and these are friendly with bitcoin.

Not sure why but I got used to it when I was starting to get into trading. Used some quick exchanging coins like shapeshift then directly deposited it to some exchanges I randomly wanted then that.
It's probably ETH but hey answers might change one day, we never know but that's the nearest we got.

I will put Ethereum and BNB next to Bitcoin. Those coins may never go to the replace of Bitcoin but will be known as protential and popular coins in the crypto market For sure.

Of course ethreum is one of the altcoins that will always dominate bitcoin, although the price distance is so far but ethreum also has the possibility to penetrate the highest price, and for LTC and BCH I think can not find a bright spot to rival the price of bitcoin, but we do not know what will happen in the future.
So far, in my opinion, altcoins are really friendly in the context of price. So many altcoins in circulation today make a lot of people wonder which ones are relevant to buy. The current ethereum price follows the price movements of bitcoin. I'm pretty optimistic that Ethereum's progress is pretty good. regarding BCH is still unable to rise when it was over 3,000 $

maybe ethereum, because ethereum has long been ranked 2nd in the CMC market or by the second largest market cap after bitcoin itself. I haven't seen any other coin that can really replace ethereum's position and this shows that Ethereum is very feasible and profitable to invest in in the future.
I agree but the same was being said about Ripple but it took a lawsuit against them to destroy everything for us. I mean now its getting removed from exchanges and the volume and price is dropping day by day which makes me feel like the end is near for Ripple.

I think BNB, ETH and maybe DOT can be the best 3 coins in the market along with Bitcoins as far as longevity of coins is being discussed. There are some other good coins like TRX and LINK but not sure how they will do in the long term. There is also USDT but I never liked it because its centralized and the reserves are unknown so it might stay if they remain true and honest.

I think ethereum best choice for altcoins market after bitcoin because we know that no currency can remove the position of bitcoin. But if you want to target any other currency after bitcoin then it must be ethereum. BNB on the other hand is a good currency because a lot of investors like this currency. Just as the binance exchange is at a high level, so is their currency reaching everyone fast.

Stick with top ranking coins if you do talk about altcoins not to say its more friendly but most likely these coins do really correlate with bitcoins price, it might not be a precise thing for you to rely on
but a good thing for you to see on how the market moves and make out next decision.

We know that bitcoin and alts doesnt correlate from time to time when it comes to price movement. So its up to you if you can risk it up to buyback or would wait for some another opportunity.

This is mattering on someones experience basing on the actions you would possibly do next.

LTC, Ethereum, BCH, or other altcoins; which ones will be used in combination with Bitcoin in the digital future ahead of us?
If you’re saying being used together, these coins are totally different and they are competing with each other. But let’s say in terms of being used for transactions, which other coins are going to be as popular as Bitcoin, we all know for sure that top on the list are Ethereum and Litecoin, these ones are very popular and there are already lots of people who make use of them.

You can hardly see anyone making use of any other altcoins for transactions apart from these two. Another coin which I have seen being used is Ripple, but only once. So, I will say that Ethereum and Litecoin are on the top list of coins that will be used alongside Bitcoin.

ethereum seems to have had a big impact on being used in combination with bitcoin. only the ethereum platform is capable of that, because now ethereum looks like a token that is the only one capable of being near bitcoin and this is what happens
