        Let's do a little talking here, Elon Musk is an atheist, that doesn't believe in the existence of God, yet he is a lover of science and technology.
      He said he wants to build in MARS, and take along a million people to go and live with him.  In another planet.
  Please who really is Elon Musk?

Often times, people who do not believe in the existence of a supernatural being (athiest) like Elon Musk, usually work very hard because they hold the strong belief that success is a product of the work and effort, dedication and planning that you put into something.
   In our society today most people are just hiding behind religion to be lazy, having a belief that a spiritual force somewhere is particularly against their growth and prosperity in life. Such a mindset usually drowns the reality that we really have to put in work to get things done.

They beleive in practicality not the God that is why they know what they want and working hard to reach their target. Don't simply blame the God for anything which you are doing.

 I don't find it very suprising that Elon Musk is an Atheist, nothing wrong with that. Honestly most people I know who studied science subjects or work in the area of technology are not really religious. It's also not a new occurrence, even hundreds of years ago well educated people tend to not believe in god anymore. Our understanding of the world and the universe changed so much over the last 200 years that is keeps getting harder to combine it with a religious worldview.

Where and when did he say he was a atheist?

I thought he thought we lived in a simulation, there has to be something to create the simulation tho.

Elon Musk's religion or belief is still a mystery...
So far it has never been explained what religion he adheres to, but if we see from his love for his mother, then surely he is following his mother's belief or religion.

Being an atheist doesn't mean that their "RELIGION" is somehow secret. Their religion is right there, they don't believe in god or otherworldly existence, instead they believe in the practicality of everything, the proof of anything.

Also, atheist is not a description for somebody who don't have religion and in need to settle with one. Beliefs is not a embedded thought in a child planted by their parents, it is how one thinks and believes in something.

The trouble in the "proof religion" is, there isn't any proof that life could even exist... not in any way that we know of.

The only time somebody gets a glimpse of proof of his own life, is when he is in great joy or great pain. The rest of the time his religion is one of life without proof... one of all kinds of fictional imaginings.

If a person says there is no God, what he is actually doing is attempting to set himself up as god. How is he doing this? By thinking that he has enough mental muscle to logically get rid of the God idea in his life... especially since he knows that he doesn't know enough to actually KNOW that God doesn't exist.

Not necessarily, I've known people who is very down to earth, and very content with their life as it is whom doesn't believe in any gods. They just see things different and does not mean that they have the same principles and ways on how to view life as it is. They just believe what they can see, and view anything on how they believe it disregarding "Unnecessary beliefs" that do not have any proofs to be believed.

He is a public figure and basically, most details that you want to know about him can be found on the web by just doing a simple search.

Well, to know if he has a religion or an atheist. You might want to give it a try to ask him on Twitter, he's active there.
