Title: Which projects do you guys hold, and why?
Post by: Marckolind on February 08, 2021, 05:58:12 PM
Thought it would be nice to know which projects you guys believe in, and why?

My current portfolio looks like this:

1) BTC
2) ETH
3) LINK
4) XMR
5) ADA
6) DIVI

The first 5 projects have done extremely well - I picked DIVI as a low cap project since I believe in their vision "Crypto Made Easy".
The Divi team is dedicated to making cryptocurrency easy to use and providing residual income. Their masternode system is set up with one click setup and instantly begins to provide a passive income in their native token. Most of all they are creating a cryptocurrency wallet that will be as easy and simple to use as Venmo, with Paypal and IBAN integration straight into the wallet, it makes it extremely easy for the average Joe to move money from his bank account to his wallet, without moving everything onto an exchange like Binance or Coinbase first.

I'm looking to diversify into other projects as well, what do you guys recommend?  :)

Ah cool. Thanks for sharing. My list isn't all that much different.

1. BTC - King
2. ETH - King of the protocol platforms
3. DOT - So many projects launching on DOT and they are cross platform
4. DIVI - Making crypto easy for everyone to access.

I actually found Divi recently and was amazed at how easy it was to set up a masternode and start earning some passive income. Their lowest masternode tier earns over 20% ROR annually. I'm pretty stoked about it.

DIVI price is going downwards spiral, it is growing fast last year but now its in a slow pace.

I have ADA, ETH and BTC that I kept for a long time. ADA is special because I have long been staking it since Shelley. Bought while the price is $0.04. I already see this coming and I think its not just me who see this coming with ADA because their plans are more secure and decentralized. Many of its investors see ADA to be a perfect platform.

I believe Bitcoin is a must hold for everyone now, when you see the richest man in the world invest part of his company money into it, then you must be sure they know something you don't know. Just buy it, it doesn't matter the price you buy now when the price hit $300k

Divi's USD price has doubled in a week. They are about to launch their new mobile wallet. Its going to be a game changer. It will feature mobile staking, mobile masternodes, fiat on-ramp, multi-coin support, IBANs, and I'm forgetting some other stuff. https://t.me/diviproject

He is smart so today he is the richest man in the world, he knows where to invest to get good results. He used a large amount of his company's money to buy Bitcoin. However, as an investor, everyone should pay attention to the market price.

Big investors have now entered the bitcoin market so people will be more interested in bitcoin than other coins.

I prefer BTC because of it popularity and it dominant over other cryptocurrency, that makes more reliable and confidential to invest in

I definately likelitecoin for anyone's portfolio.  I'm weary on exchange coins even though binance looks very strong.  With bitcoin starting to go mainstream you are going to have some serious businesses get involved in the exchange game since there is so much money to be had.  Binance will have stiff competition going forward

No hard feelings but all the coin you listed are bunch of high manipulated and centralized coin which I don't think is right to hold now when there are coins that follow Bitcoin in the market.
I only hold BTC, ETH and some token I got from the bounty campaign.

Currently, the %40 of my altcoins portfolio is ETH, LTC, BNB, and EOS. The mentioned altcoins have a higher chance if the altcoin season starts tomorrow. I still look for an altcoin party for buying more altcoins because it will be a false alarm to invest in the altcoins if nothing is going to happen soon.

I don't agree, the mentioned altcoins have a huge chance to grow up. The centralized altcoin projects will be useful for some new companies to make payments cheap and in more efficient ways. Actually, less than 3% of online companies use cryptocurrencies as the mean of payment, if I remember correctly.

BTC will always be the top choice of most crypto users. All the other alts are disappearing, but btc will always be here. But in investments, we always need to remember the famous saying, don't put all your eggs in one basket. So it is really good to diversify our portfolio and collect some promising alts.

Now that a big whales come into this market, I think Bitcoin will become more expensive and we should always hold this one. Anyway, i do have Poolz, DIA, ETH and Link because I know they’ll continue to grow as well and the altcoin season is not done yet so there’s a great opportunity holding them this year.

I've included BNB because it's showing its true potential and just keep reaching another new ATH just like bitcoin. You're right about to both of it. There's going to be a tough competition for it but I think they'll manage to overcome it for having the most common exchange in the crypto world.
Everyone knows Binance so their coin, BNB.

Nice list you have there. But reading lots of lists, newbies might be confused about what to choose and ends up being a loser as they will just follow, invest and wait. Newbies should just take this list as an example but on how to get profits from it, it was on end. There are lots of new traders who just ride and follow without understanding the risk-factor.

To name a few, BNB, ADA, Chainlink. BTC and ETH are already common and always be included on our preferred coins.

There’s not much like with OP that I hold to date is bitcoin being mainstream in my portfolio and ethereum of course, also ADA.
I am quite focused on paying attention to ADA. Because not only is it quickly able to enter the top 10 crypto worlds, but ADA dares
to offer the concept of sustainability thanks to the idea of Proof of Stake which differs from other blockchain technology developers.

Those major coins are on my portfolios but i never pick anon coin as a coin to be on my portfolios consider anon coin will never be used again in the future.
This time im still holding various altcoin like AAVE, UNI, EGLD and many more. I just diversify my portfolios into a various assets to avoid the risk that i can get it when i put all of the money into the one basket.
So far my assets are giving best performance.

Of the 6 coins of your choice, I don't agree that XMR and DIVI are included in your list. I think XMR is currently having problems with some
exchanges intending to delist privacy coins. Then for this DIVI, for me, including shitcoin is not suitable for HODL. So immediately sell your DIVI,
before the price falls and cannot be sold. I would rather include Polkadot and Dogecoin in your portfolio list, because both currently perform
beyond expectations. So holding DOGE and DOT for the long term can provide huge profits.

Recently I've been interested in smart contract projects, that's why my portfolio is filled with coins like ethereum, polkadot, cardano and others. I am sure that in a growing market situation there will be many new projects released, and all of them require a good and cheap Dapp platform. And this opens up a huge opportunity for ethereum's competing platforms to find users. That's why I started paying attention to projects that have potential and could be better than Ethereum. for now I only have DOT, AVAX, TRX, ADA, and bnb. and on average my investment has paid off, I made about 2-3x profit at the beginning of this year.

Recently, I became interested in the analyzes of this service:
https://twitter.com/baserank1
They rated the quality of the TrueFi project with a score: 73%
I believe in their reports because I think they do it very thoroughly.
I know that now everyone is talking about DOGE, ETH, Tesla and Bitcoin, but in my opinion the most worth to buying right now is TrueFi

I hold some SXP now. We've seen nice price increases on all altcoins that look like Swipe, but it hasn't shown that rise yet.
When we examine the project, we see that it is a very comprehensive and potential coin, if the team does the necessary work, it can become very valuable in a short time :)

Very good portfolio, most crypto users definitely have different options, but specifically for Bitcoin and Ethereum will always be the ultimate dream for crypto users. Bitcoin and Ethereum have high popularity and have always dominated the crypto market compared to other coins.

If you are going to into truefi you should realize that it is a long term project that has applications that makes it viable in the far future after development is completely done. That %73 is true if everything they promised and everything on their roadmap happens and even after that it will take time for them to do all of that.

Do I think it is a bad coin to invest? Obviously not, they are a great coin and I think they are going to make you some profit if you buy it right now, but I have to say you have to buy and hold for few years before it could make some profit for you. If you get it now, and sell at the end of 2023, you will probably make an easy 5x and probably even a 10x return from it, but if you buy now and see a drop do not get scared, the point of truefi is not making profit in a day (you might a bit) it is a bit longer project than others we know about.

because at this moment this coin is a part from the best ethereum competitors besides cardano and tron, so i drop my money in polkadot

True, Polkadot has great potential to continue to grow, considering that some of the new projects built on it have a good reputation, most of them the price of tokens has grown tens of fold.

I would put higher performance coins in terms of speed and flexibility rather than independence, new or more groundbreaking variants like DOT, ADA, TRX and EOS, everything is compatible with Defi and  The recent lush green coating is evidence of a strong trend of change.  That is what I believe will create a great opportunity for benefit!  Also, huge cash flows are running into crypto as a major competition.  This is a good condition for the whale to grow.  The blue run still pushes at 2021.

Top two coins from your recorded will be the decision of 90% of merchants. Since this two was promising task from long. Indeed, even now when new individuals get into exchanging stage, most likely they will backwards certain piece of cash in bitcoin and Ethereum. Now the cost of YOUC had begun to increase,it's smarter to hold then to sell it. On the off chance that you discover any task as promising, simply hold that token without selling.

 2. eth,
that's for sure.

apart from that I still hold NPXS, PPT, CND.  even though the price has not gone up for now, I am still sure that someday the coin will go up, especially the PPT.  PPT is likely to rise to the highest price.

It's great to see the crypto market still in a bull run, because of almost all the coins pumped in recent days. But I am a person who is always careful
in choosing projects for investment, so I'm only holding projects that have a bright future. For now I HODL Bitcoin and Ethereum, because I consider
these two coins the safest. If there is any correction, usually Bitcoin and Ethereum recover very quickly. So I don't hesitate to continue HODL Bitcoin
and Ethereum until my target sell is achieved.

I permanently hold the BTC and ETH then temporarily hold the BNB and XRP. These four projects are really impress to me because of strength and stability.
1. Bitcoin is always ruling the crypto market and it will coordinate the number of altcoins.
2. Ethereum is second eye of crypto environment and it will have huge market cap in altcoin.
3. BNB is most trusted trading support back bone and it will achieve the goal on shortly.
4. XRP is a banking support platform so many countries are interested to pick the gem.

You do not have anything in Bitcoin? I mean,,, I like altcoins too and I would actually also agree that ETH should hold the majority of alt portfolios (it is not the case for me because I added ETH later after my LTC and XMR actually).

But BTC is the surest thing in the unsure world of crypto,,, to me anyway.

I have been holding BTC, ETH, ADA, and BNB because these coins have shown good potential for years. I'm holding a large portion of BTC because I have no doubt that it could rise and give a good profit in a long term hold. I have chosen trusted coins with a good reputation and background.

For the long term i hold bitcoin and bnb. The reason behind this because BNB is the largest exchange in the world of cryptocurrency and bitcoin is the first in currency in crypto and also almost everyone knows about bitcoin compared to other coins.

I like your choice of coins and reason but adding etheruem to it as the first smart contract coin and leader of altcoins market. Etheruem is still hodling her run strongly.
I'm hodling few etheruem though and more altcoins with expecting that the run will touch them positively too.

I have been holding BTC, ETH, ADA, and BNB because these coins have shown good potential for years. I'm holding a large portion of BTC because I have no doubt that it could rise and give a good profit in a long term hold. I have chosen trusted coins with a good reputation and background.
BTC and ETH always have made happy own investors and l think this situation will not change in the near future, no doubt they always will be the best projects for years. Overall top altcoins including BNB are really great choices, that is why they have better potential than other altcoins. But in my view these coins must be chosen for long term investing, on the other hand, top altcoins are not a good idea for short term investing. Short term investing will not leave a huge return but long term thinking can realize this. The BTC can touch $90k soon or even $100k is possible but the profit will be different for two investors. One will make %300 profit on $30k buy but other investors will only take %50 profit because of $60k buy order limit.

Right now I am holding ada, xrm, ltc, dot and eth. In fact, some of those coins like dot and eth are already reasonable to sell in exchange but some part of me don't want to sell it because I am still seeing a potential huge pump especially in eth and ltc. Right now, I am focusing to those coins in a daily basis so that I can follow the market trends and updates.

My biggest hold are eth, dot, bnb and cake which I believe these bring good profit in my portfolio. I’m surprise this year when we see the market that most altcoins reach an all time high. Dot are also most talk about since many project under dot. We have choices on what to hold as long these could bring profit.

Right now I am holding and buying DOT as I can see a huge long-term potential on this token. They say it's a good competitor of ETH and some projects are starting to move to DOT platform. If DOT can solve it's problem in the long-run it can surpass ETH. It is now gaining a lot of attention, and I think the price is still cheap even tho it could've been cheaper to buy it a few weeks back. It could be a long-term investment, but still DYOR and invest at your own risk.

It is undeniable that people don't want to take risks investing in new altcoins. they tend to prefer to invest in obvious projects like Ethereum or at least be in the Top 20 of coinmarketcap.

I myself currently invest a lot in altcoins that many people believe are like Ethereum. Waves. Litecoin. all three are very good investment right now. the increase from my own investment is now almost 100% in these altcoins. with the exception of ethereum which still can't break the 2,000 $ mark

for now I believe in ETH, because ETH will be a very strong and good coin, the keep is just waiting for ETH v2 to appear. Current prices are proof of all

Algorand is gonna blow by ETH

Currently, the %40 of my altcoins portfolio is ETH, LTC, BNB, and EOS. The mentioned altcoins have a higher chance if the altcoin season starts tomorrow. I still look for an altcoin party for buying more altcoins because it will be a false alarm to invest in the altcoins if nothing is going to happen soon.

I hold some coins which i think have a good future, this is the list of it:
1. XLM
2. SFP
3. EOS
4. TRX
5. CLO
Thats my bag right now. Im still accumulate on 5 of it, not sure will try to search for another 6.
No hard feelings but all the coin you listed are bunch of high manipulated and centralized coin which I don't think is right to hold now when there are coins that follow Bitcoin in the market.
I only hold BTC, ETH and some token I got from the bounty campaign.
I don't agree, the mentioned altcoins have a huge chance to grow up. The centralized altcoin projects will be useful for some new companies to make payments cheap and in more efficient ways. Actually, less than 3% of online companies use cryptocurrencies as the mean of payment, if I remember correctly.

Yes agree, Callisto also plan for decentralized government in the future, but right now in the near time they have agreement to do blockchain Implementation for a public transportation.
Also, the investment grows in my bag looks so good at this moment, im happy and would hold a bit longer.  ::)

I got into BDO today, I think it is a great project by the looks of it. I think it gives about 3% or so daily, or slightly under it with all the costs and all. That is not bad but of course you have to take sbdo price into consideration because you could make 2% daily but price could fall, so you have to be careful.

Plus, there is no compound yet, and that means if you keep making bdo profit and sell it to buy sbdo that means if the price of sbdo drops a lot, you are going to lose a lot of dollar value whereas you keep gaining money in sbdo, hence I think that is a risky situation and you should be careful. I like it because in the long term it looks very very profitable, only risk involved is the sbdo price going down a lot, and as long as that doesn't happen I am going to be quite good.

These are coins I hold currently: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Binance Coin, Swipe. I tend to support Binance chain coins now as we entered into phase in ethereum which made fees so high it doesn't feel investable to me. Also I think Binance creates great liquidity to these new smart chain coins. I plan to invest more into defi projects.
I don't know about Swipe but you're lucky to have those three that are the best gainers in this bull market. Binance coin's increase is really attention taking to the market. Is it possible if you can give the percentage of your investments with that portfolio?
I hope that you've gained a lot from those and you have a bigger part for bitcoin.

Buying new oracle project on their token sale. HAPI is going to be big.
Highly recommend to research https://medium.com/i-am-hapi/hapi-onchain-cybersecurity-protocol-for-defi-projects-9a8dff15dc86

HAPI is a set of cross chain smart contracts that are embedded into DeFI products that allow them to reach a new security level. Also, HAPI’s Oraclizing and DAO system delivers SaaS in the DeFi environment that prevents hack attempts.

Let’s say a hacker breaks into an exchange’s hot wallet and begins to transfer funds out of the exchange.
The exchange sends the address and coin details immediately to HAPI.
Every exchange connected to HAPI receives this information almost instantly and can block these transactions and funds until the situation is resolved. DEXs use smart contracts, allowing them to reject requests from suspicious addresses using HAPI. The momentum of the attack is slowed, and a portion of the funds is blocked.

but experience about polkadot proves that not all new coins are included that are not taken into account, proving now that all can be the best, indeed all will avoid coins that have just entered the stock market because they are clearly not guaranteed. but it looks like this year is the year altcoins will come into play.

You can be sure that no one wants to speculate, what you are doing is probably the same as most other people who want to invest, but we also have to remember that doge altcoins that are not taken into account are now in the best position. so sometimes there are coins that suddenly increase from old coins.
but clearly ethereum, chainlink, and the ones in the best position are strongly advised to invest in.
