Sounds interesting, is there any particular requirements to be able to receive that rewards? Since I have an account there but already inactive for a few years back, lol. Looks like it's something like a new program to give their loyal content writer more rewards to earn, however it would be good if there's an article that explains the details about it.

so meaning those newly steemit Users will not counted in this reward system? or anyone that has steemit account can take part of this?
Hope not , better to Give the reward to everyone that will create or already has their account inside the system because this will be unfair if there are discrimination or prioritization .

Great news. I have an old account, probably 2 years old, how to find out how they calculate rewards and when they are going to distribute them?

I have a the same message you posted, when I opened my account, but when I click on "Agree" button I get "missing translation: en.tron_err_msg.need_active_or_owner_key" error message. Anyone else got this ?

Well, that just my own speculation which is I still don't know the truth and there's a chance it could be wrong. However unfair or not I think it's a common thing in any loyalty program to prioritizing loyal users and give more benefits to them.

Edit:
After heading out to the steemit, it seems this program open for all users either old or new users can earn TRX as a reward there with the earning ratio of 1 TRX : 1 SP (steem power). In a short it's not absolutely free rewards, you just have an option to change your rewards by writing contents there from steem to TRX.

This is a Good news for us Steemit Users and also those who will wanted to create and use an account .
But this seems misleading , because  at the beginning it seems like free but after around it's not and you had to have SP so you can earn TRX.

Just saw this and tried to login to my Steemit account but it seems it does not even let me login anymore. I have a password and a key but it seems to ask for a secret key I do not recall having to make before. Any chance to recover a lost account? Not that I have much but curious to see how much TRX I can get for the Steem dollars I used to have.

The old steemit users will benefit form this offer. I do have an account at Steemit but i was not actively posting articles on that account.

Will the old Steemit inactive accounts are also eligible for the trx payment ?

I'm also getting the same error. You are probably signing in with your Posting key and not the Active or Owner keys just like me. Unfortunately, I cannot remember where I saved those other keys or if I ever saved them at all. I just found out the function of each keys today ;D Too bad I had some SP in my old account and I cannot use them anymore.

If there are questions that are still unanswered, I think it's better to ask that in any steemit related thread or on this particular thread.

I heard they FAQ (https://steemit.com/faq.html#What_do_I_need_to_do_in_order_to_secure_my_account) - the user can't recover account when had lost key and password., this means everyone who forgets and lost the credential won't be able to recover. I think so, they use seed phrase for creating an account for a new user. this means you own the key.

1 Steem power = 1 TRX reward, maybe equivalent to $0.05 or under.

oh Gosh , I can't see how to recover my Steemit account that i have used in the past  but now i can't access my old account that i use to be active back then .

Can you share a link also about recovery ?

This is sad, meaning we don't have chance recovering our accounts? this also mean i have to create new to try this airdrop .
Looks like it is , because the active you do in the past is the more SP you earned .

Yes that was the issue I found also,,, it is like crypto in a sense and I made my Steemit account a long time ago before I even probably properly knew how to use a crypto account:) I have a username and password but they also have a secret key which I did not keep (master seed I guess). Too bad for me, but it is not a lot of tokens to miss out on. Unless it becomes $1 in future hehe;)

You are not read this thread at all, right? I think there are enough instructions on how to. You also need to read some comments here, it is not just free money as OP says. You need to do something for them, no matter is it your account old or new.
