Well done to Stefanos for beating Nadal but I think age is doing its thing for Nadal.He together with Federer used to be the best in this sport but a lot has changed since those times.New players like Djokovic have come to surge as numbet one in the rankings.For me I prefer more the era of Federer,Nadal,Williams sisters and Maria Sharapova as they were true talents.

Tenacious kid this Tsitsipas. He is also brave in taking shots and it worked for him. The backhand winner that sealed the match was an aggressive shot.

Djokovic is not exactly a "new" player. He is already 33 years old and just one year younger than Nadal. RFed was able to prolong his career and he's the only active player from his batch if I'm not mistaken.

I never expected tsitsipas to come back after he was 0-2 sets down. He seemed to be to nervous in the first two sets.
Then when it looked like that he had already lost he just risked more and played more confident and he gained momentum and it was nadal who started to make more easy mistakes then.
Tennis is a mindgame after all. Congrats to everyone who placed a bet on tsitsipas, won't be to many though i think.  :)

Maybe now he just might start believing more and more that he can win that elusive first Grand Slam. He is next up against Medvedev in his semi-final. It will be a fantastic game of tennis to watch.

It was a stunning and epic comeback for the ages. Is Nadal cursed? I don't think so.  Amazing how momentum can swing to the other end after Nadal made two errors.

I hope Tsitsipas advances and carries on another great performance next round. Congrats to all who bet on him.

As much as I love that comeback by Tsitsipas, it was aided by some kind of injury Nadal had, maybe that back injury which earlier he revealed he was going through because a player like Nadal who thrives in longer matches should have done better than what he did in the 4th and 5th set.

You called it right a mindgame but I would rather giver the edge to Nadal in mind games being in so many finals and semi-finals as compared to his young opponent. Talking of mental strength I have seen Tsitsipas playing rash shots under pressure so glad he was able to outclass the better and more experienced player in Nadal. I would have rather liked Nadal to progress but well done to Stefanos Tsitsipas.

I was watching the game and was stunned at Nadal wasting such an opportunity, IMO Nadal being better in quick matches and having more big-game experience should have performed better specially in 3rd set.

Medvedev 3-0 is how a consistent star should perform.
