Title: Best places to look for co-founders and developers?
Post by: fiolvb on February 19, 2021, 11:48:16 PM
Soo, I hope I'm adding this in the right category and that it hasn't been asked 100 times already. (Couldn't find any useful thread about this yet)

If I have an idea for a new cryptocurrency (yes, yet another one) and I just want to share it with enthusiasts and/or developers who might be interested in cooperating, where do you think is the best place to find such people or simply start such a conversation with fruitful results?

Andy

You can go to the project and development section of this forum and you can also try to visit ethereum stack to search for the smartcontract developers.
I think that any coin has its own sub forum and you can use search engine to search it easily. When you are looking for the developers from the DOT developers and you can visit DOT's forum.
That depends on what kind of asset that you are interested with,

If you are looking particularly in the forum, You can go directly on Project Development section of the forum but most of the devs are not active here especially new project. Your best chance to connect with them is through Twitter or LinkedIn since most of the new devs are affiliated to each other and only few are coming from scratch.

Beware on forming a team here especially to low rank member. There’s a lot of scammer here.

I can assure you that there is no longer space for interesting "ideas" about which you can get people excited and a group will form. Your best bet is to look at the "Services" (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0) section. A lot of devs announce their intersts there. (you have to verify them for being legit).

Apart from that you can just try to look at people's posts, ask them if they are interested and then talk about it via PMs. It'd also be required for you to list out that what skills you are bringing yourself and which ones are you looking for. That and a solid plan will get people interested.
