Looks like Michael Saylor from MicroStrategy is now on the move to buy Bitcoin for their Convertible Senior Notes. As Michael previously tried coinbase for buying massive btc from coinbase in the first attempt and even it's freezed in that time. But now, coinbase as well as other crypto exchanges are keeping in close contact with Michael so that they can help Michael for buying bitcoin from market. So, coinbase is chosen by Michael for this time to do that, IMO.

Two things :
1. Someone just brought them after Elon Musk and learning that other industries are also thinking of Investing.
2. Some whale is just trying to manipulate the market.
Now the thing is we don't know which one is correct and how they are going to use these Bitcoins in the future. Right now I understand that after 50k they might be trying for 60+ ! Which is a big thing I do think that coinbase might try and make things more transparent for the people.

Yes there are companies who are thinking of investing but they for sure haven't stated completely bluntly when and how they are going to do it therefore the hype is real as for me I do believe that we might see much bigger heights. But then again we cannot predict what is going to happen in the market.

They might just be trying to generate public attention nothing else and putting them out on exchange means they would soon trade them

Yes, a lot of news big and famous players are starting to move and develop to get involved and invest in bitcoin and including well-known companies because of the very promising potential of bitcoin.
and I am increasingly optimistic that the bitcoin movement will continue to increase gradually and exceed $ 100k in the near future, and the increase in bitcoin makes everyone tempted from big people to small people to invest
in bitcoin and in my opinion this year the level of risk in bitcoin is very low because it tends to increase and will always benefit whoever has it.

I dont have any idea yet who is that big player who bought Bitcoin in Coinbase using different addresses.  According to the Whale_Alert on Twitter (https://twitter.com/whale_alert?), it almost the same amount of ~300 up to 380 Bitcoin has been bought so many times and I think more than 30 times transactions.

Whoever it is, this will surely have a great impact on Bitcoin price, and we might achieve another ATH within this week as expected, I think presumably we're on the road to the $60k price of Bitcoin.

$150k BTC to go isn't all nonsense, it's the eyesight of the BTC Hodlers.  yeah Bitcoin will become a symbol of wealth and large corporations/institution will leave the old investment (gold).

there are no other words I can say, see you at $100k - $120k - $150k 8)

woow. It makes almost 750 million dollars. this is a huge purchase. probably a corporate acquisition has been made. I wouldn't be surprised if we see $ 100k soon.btc now has a place in the world.

Can you see the importance of it all? I wish I could buy that big amount but just think about how easy it is to move those huge amounts with bitcoin.
Also, when that money is in bitcoin you are free to dispose of them as you like! That is awesome to me.
Try to wire $750m to another bank account: expect feds to blow you up.

That is a huge amount of money and bitcoin transactions.
Why they choose to buy from an exchange market rather than OTC?
Is it difficult to find OTC BTC sellers since the market is on bullish mode?
If it comes from big institutuions, I believe they care about the price impact from their transactions on that market.

There’s nothing impossible in the crypto space. But the hype is very much high. Don’t be deceived. It’s a bullish trend for BTC, and it’s making the rounds on most investment blogs and channels.

It's just my assumption because previously exchanges faced technical difficulties when Michael was on the moves. Like that binance and other exchanges was facing technical difficulties yesterday. BTW, Michael won't tweet that he's buying now , but he'll definitely make an announcement after buying that $1.05 Billion worth of Bitcoin for their convertible Senior notes (https://www.microstrategy.com/en//investor-relations/press/microstrategy-completes-1-05b-offering-of-convertible-senior-notes_02-19-2021). If my assumption becomes true, than we'll get an announcement from Michael asap.  :D

My surprise was the way these transactions are floating without any hassle, moving billions dollars around the internet seem easy comparing to fiats. Though, his could be in two form: that the buyers (manipulators) just bought to enable him manipulate the market or that he's about to cash-out his stash holdings, we have seen different things happenings under our nose, so, we should be smarter than we are yesterday, not all the buys shoot the market IMO.

Am not certain for sure but it may not be the biggest ever Bitcoin purchase, but that's a more than a standard wealthy man's networth used to purchase Bitcoin, I won't be too surprised, because it for Business purpose than to show off and those who purchased that millions amount of Bitcoin has a financial investment target. An in between Bitcoin had always a place.

It was amusing when we hear news like this in the past but now it has become a normal thing as we would hear these level of huge investments coming in on a weekly basis and the price keeps on rising and we cannot speculate how long these rally will continue and as long as these sort of investments pour in the market we might not even see a minor correction which is disappointing.

Its shocking that people are investing in bitcoin with prices as high as this without thinking twice, for most people now its not about what price bitcoin is at the moment but, owning a considerable share of bitcoin and believing it to profit them in the later future. This is why you see huge investors coming into the market because, they've got the luxury of time and are futuristic about there investment, an ample of lead towards the market and investment that most common men don't have. This is a sign that, owning bitcoin is a necessaity because the revolution is now at its peak.

The mainstream is starting to go in. I can see many youtubers who weren't into crypto before buy Bitcoin as an experiment to show how much you can make. Usually this is a bad sign, sign of the street rushing in and the street is usually late for the party. I know we're going to go higher in the long run but whether we'll have another bearish cycle or not will depend on how many whales enter along with the street.

Now this one looks great. At this high price and still buys a lot of Bitcoin, all I can say is that this whale has seen the great potential and future of Bitcoin in many years to come. As financial institutions keep pushing Bitcoin higher, it increased the confidence of big time investors out there who wanted to become one of the whales.

I think others will follow Tesla’s lead and start converting significant cash reserves to Bitcoin. Also, it’s just a matter of time before Apple supports crypto in some way, shape or form — whether that be through Apple Pay, Apple Wallet, or Apple’s online store. These two forces combined will continue to lift BTC to new highs.

I hate to burst your bubbles, but ...

Moving bitcoins is not the same as buying bitcoins, even if they are moved from an exchange.

Those bitcoins were already bought at some time in the past. Tesla used Coinbase to buy their bitcoins, so perhaps those were some of the bitcoins that Tesla bought. Or perhaps it was somebody that has keep them on Coinbase for years.

Whales are starting to move towards pumping the coin even more, so it seems. With this bitcoin purchase, either a lot of people will FOMO and buy in hopes of catching the bitcoin train, or they will be discouraged to buy bitcoin because of its ginormous value at the moment, which doesn't seem to show any signs of stopping by the way.

maybe the bulk of bitcoin purchases were made by the whales or big companies nowadays. I think right now we need to know if the price of bitcoin is soaring that many whales want to make good use of the market and get significant profits. So I think there are two possibilities the first is purely a purchase or second is just speculation from the whale

What frustrates me around some of this is the way smaller scale retail investors are being partially or fully blocked by their banks from transacting in crypto.  Whilst it can be argued some of this is for good reasons (e.g. stopping credit card transactions to protect the consumer from unsustainable debt) the fact some are seeing standard bank and debit card transfers being blocked to me isn't fair.  As usual, it stinks of try to stop the average person from being in on the game, however those with money and financial teams to help them can apparently buy huge sums of crypto without issue.

Yes I know there are ways to circumvent the banks, however perhaps with credit card transactions aside, there should be no blocks to smaller retail consumers investing in crypto if they so wish.  We could go from a scenario in which Bitcoin was still a viable investment for smaller investors but blocked and/or illegal to trade in, to a scenario where banks and countries gradually accept crypto transactions but by then Bitcoin could be an unviable investment for smaller investors e.g. if it continues to increase rapidly in value.  Although none of us have a crystal ball, a year from now Bitcoin might be sitting at $200k, so even a $1k investment will only get you 0.005 Bitcoin.

Not sure if my post entirely makes sense, in a nutshell I'm saying traditional banks and countries have tried to stop investment in Bitcoin, however if sufficient numbers of legitimate big players invest they might change their tune, but by then the boat has largely passed for the smaller investor.  Unless there were significant dips thereafter during which the smaller investor could get in, there's little point, unless you have quite significant sums to pump in.

I am sure that one of these days some institutions will make a tweet about buying btc and preserving it. 13000 pcs is too big having that number owned by a single institution can be a huge buying and selling power on that. So I think this institution will use bitcoin in a good way not to make the market dump and pump. But then we cannot force them not so sell now so that it could go higher. I hope I could get 1 btc top to hold because they said it could go higher some says bear market is coming.
