I am a dentistry student. I generate income from my account to meet my university needs. This is my only source of income. So I try to follow the rules as best I can and take care not to spam.  Please I don't know my mistake but I'm sorry for the mistake I made. I need my account a lot as my university expenses increase during the pandemic. Please help me.

How can rely on the forum for paying for your education? Find some additional job or take a study loan. I'm still paying back mine, but if you want a proper education that's the right way to do it. You can't risk it with such insecure income.

It just amazes me how someone who has been on the forum for almost 4 years is not familiar with what plagiarism is? Maybe you really did it in a hurry, and you didn't think about it, and there was no intention to show that post as your own - but now it all depends on a few people who can remove your ban, but the chances of that are not exactly in your favor.

I agree with that, although a good forum member can always participate in a signature campaign and earn something - and in some countries with a low standard, every $ can mean a lot. Yet I don’t see too much logic for someone to rely on campaign signatures as the only source of revenue, because things like this can always happen.

How the fcuk did you get into dental school if the only source of income you have is through bounties?  I don't know how it works in your country, but where I live you have to have paid for each semester or year in advance before you can even start studying dentistry.  I have to assume you got loans to finance your education.

Do you cheat in school like you cheated on the forum?  Do you not realize plagiarism is not only ethically wrong but against the forum rules?  And by the way, very few members successfully appeal a ban for plagiarism.  It's not going to happen for you, I'm afraid.  Stick to pulling teeth and don't rely on bounties to support yourself.

I do not want to defend him here. As I commented in the other unban appeal thread, he was getting paid in the signature campaign about $45/week. He writes in Turkish, so maybe that money is enough to buy food or partially cover his expenses, and, assuming what he says is true, I suppose, as you say, that he took a loan to pay for his studies.

In any case, it sounds to me that he says it to make people feel sorry for him. If he is studying that he has a promising future and while he is studying he can try to get some income either online or live. This is not the only possibility in the world that he has to earn a little money.

Or it's a total sob story - some people tend to think that this would help them win the appeal. We can't really KYC the person to figure out if the story is true, nor is that relevant to begin with. The only exception for a plagiarism ban is a signature ban for otherwise valuable members and I don't think OP qualifies.

Was this the only thing he did wrong tho? just one account of plagiarism or was there more?

Not to sound like a dick but "university expenses increase during the pandemic", aren't classes like online? Sorry to hear that, dude, but you might want to find something else. Maybe apply for writing articles of something? I did a few myself on IT and made quite a few $$$.

Off topic tho, seeing people from US saying they're still paying off their student loans is really weird to me, like if you're a good student here you're basically getting anything for free and if you have above 9 average grade, you get paid ~200$ monthly. haha
