However with this growing issue the very idea on which bitcoin was founded is getting under stress. Well, I have been answered your survey in the google sheet form you dropped above.
We know that there is a high fee that bothered us now while having a bitcoin transaction, and perhaps the only solution is those gambling sites owner should use Lightning Network so that we can modify the fees into the smallest one. Also, even a native segwit address, in that way, users can able to modify the fee as required on the network. Indeed right, --cryptocurrencies are very convenient to use and they can across all borders.

Notable mentions that you haven't included on  that form. This doesn't only limit out to Tron and Ltc and also you should include DOGE too.
When it comes to Bitcoin fees are high then theres no viable option but to switch up to alts. Its up to someone if he would continue to
make use of BTC aspite of the current high fees.
Always set to dynamic fees and making some option for gamblers neither they do like on slow or fast confirmation withdrawals.

you can put doge in others. maybe the OP is a fan of TRON and LTC here.  :P

btw, what is the main goal of the OP why he is doing this survey? are you going to suggest to these casinos whatever you can come up here? or just getting the sentiments of players here in the forum towards gambling fees and such?

Fees have a very huge impact on one's gambling strategy especially if they don't have a lot in their account. I think for now POS blockchains like EOS, TRON are suitable for gambling with a few POW blockchains like Doge that still require less fess.

I also like platforms that offer different fee rate withdrawal options and not just flat fee rates that are the same from January to December despite price changes in the market

He might have the plans on building a crypto gambling site for him to know on what is the preference of most people on this forum or who do gamble out on this place.Knowing those piece of information would really be helpful for an owner who do tend to create one.Am i right OP?

This is a problem that is giving a lot to talk about, it would be fabulous if apart from implementing LN, they include cryptocurrencies such as TRX, BNB and Doge, which is necessary at this point for platforms to implement their internal exchanges. Of course, if you want anonymity, Monero would certainly be the other solution.

Or he could be working closely with some casino's already or someone commissioned him to have this survey to better offer services to us gamblers. We all know that high fees right now is a big issue not just for us but for casino's as well.

In any case I have filled the survey and hopefully it will help in the decision making. It will be better if the gamblers themselves will set the fees when they are withdrawing.

It seems you didn't add other alts on the form to choose and they are right adding dogecoin as one of the crypto that can be used on gambling platforms. I have tried gambling on a site that accepts dogecoin and so I used dogecoin to deposit and withdraw since the fees are lower compared to eth and btc.

Although you have designed a good form but i have not fill the form yet. More importantly, what will be the outcome of this data ? Will you compile this data and share with the gambling sites ?
I don't see any benefit in filling the form as our problems of high fee will remain as it is, unless you have any plan to do with this data.

But there is no clear explanation what is the motive of this Thread , and checking the survey form it is not really anonymous at all and there is no clarification about the objectives of the said survey.

So please mind clearing us out ? because it is important for us to know what does it mean and you are not just using our answers in your own benefit for what reason , well i don't really know.

Today I made a deposit of 800 Tron to the Stake gambling site. The deposit was instant and the transaction fee was really low compared to bitcoin and ethereum. I ended up losing the entire amount. For Gamblers who make regular withdrawal and deposit can give preference to tron over other cryptocurrencies, if fee is a big concern on their wager/deposit/withdrawal.

It's obvious people will prefer low transaction fees and if ever a gambling site offers on-chain transactions with low fee and fast execution coins/tokens that site will surely be popular. I guess the mainstream coins/tokens to be added on a gambling site was either DOGE, EOS or TRON, I firmly believe these coin/token is fast and has low transaction fee.

I have filled the form and given my honest answers / opinion. Now what's next ?  I wished we as a community could force the gambling sites to reduce the withdrawal fee or make them free, after all they earn so much money from us.

I filled out the survey, but I think that the questions are quite limited and don't allow to share the whole view. Namely, the fees are a problem for me only if I decide to deposit or to withdraw. While I'm placing some bets, I can make them as small as I want because it's all done internally on the website, so there's no need to pay any huge transaction fees. So when the fees are very high (like they are right now), I'd just refrain from depositing or withdrawing money from a website, and would use the money that's already there. And also, the last question asks the maximum fee in dollars, but I think it should not be limited to a fixed amount, but instead take into account the percentage. $5 for a $10 bet is a lot, but $5 for a $500 bet seems totally fine.

Good figures above but still it's annoying to see such conditions with top alts today.

That's why the better solution to avoid this slow and high fee transaction is to add the coin who have lesser fee since I'm sure many gamblers are upset now for paying a tremendous fees for transacting the major alts these days.

Fees are not an issue for me, because I jump between the different Alt coins that are on offer at the different casinos. If a online Crypto casino only accept Bitcoin (BTC) ....I opt not to use it, because any Crypto casino worth the effort will have several Alt coins on offer.

The most common Alt coins are Eth / LiteCoin / Doge / Xrp and even TRON. Some casinos even have services to convert between the different coins. (So you use a Alt coin with a super fast confirmation time and low fees for the deposit and you withdraw in Bitcoin BTC)  ;)

But regarding to the average Fee i use to pay now using Bitcoin and ETH? i spent at least 8-14$ each time with the high fee now.

and also about the coin I'm playing ? it is ETH so far but i also go to some site that has Dogecoin or at least XRP.

^ The same here, I visited the form but I did not answer the survey. What is the benefit of the site or a gambling site to this survey or what is the purpose, it is for good or probably for bad/fraud, I hope that is not. Nevertheless, it is basic information to know about the transaction fees. Even Fortunejack that has a free withdrawal fee can still manage if they wanted to lower the fees or for free. Nevertheless, there are altcoins that has a lower fee than BTC, I suggest TRON since TRON network has lower fees than other blockchain networks.

Filled out the form since I share similar views regarding the rising TX fees and times these days associated with BTC and ETH. Am using TX accelerators regularly these days since I usually choose low fees for my transactions.

I advise everyone to shift to Bech32 addresses in order to decrease TX fees and times associated with BTC. Utilising other popular altcoins like LTC, Doge etc is another effective solution to.combat this issue.

Well, I too answered it since there is no personal details were asked!

I consider this thread is to find to solution for the rising fee on the blockchain network.In my opinion there are only two solutions for this:

1. Batch withdrawal system:

Well, most of the casinos have batch withdrawal system but they are asking fee which are someone equals to the individual transactions get included in the next block which is kind of profit making motive to be honest, they can charge pretty lower fee than actual fee because the fees are shared between multiple withdrawals so users can reduce the burden a lot so they can keep playing with BTC itself.

2. Add multiple coins:

This is kind of perfect temporary solution to avoid paying a part of the bet amount in just fees but this is not going to help BTC in anyway since sites are encouraging other altcoins with cheap fee to be used as alternative.

I answered the survey... On the one hand, it's what I am talking about for some time! Tron and some other coins, like Doge or Litecoin are great for gambling! Simply their transaction fees are very low, and they are fast!
In the last year, we have some great projects on the Tron network, something is drawing more and more attention! Dividends, their own tokens on Tron chain.. and why not, easy and cheap for making them be for a good use for all of us!
As always, there are bad and scam projects around, but it's why you need to do your own research and choose your own place where to gamble!

Possible too and thats right when it comes to fees but just as expected bitcoins network now is already fine and fees were back in the low side.We do have already lots of

alternatives when it comes to this manner.If he would be building one or been working with current ones then this would be the most common solution that they would
able to make which neither they do charge out their players for that big fee with dynamic or would really be giving out altcoin

I don't want many options but if TRX alone is allowed on a gambling website, I will be happy to play there because it has very less fees comparably against any other coins. If I were to allow a solution to this, I may exactly go for the batch withdrawal system by Findingnemo and let the users wait a bit instead of giving them instant withdrawals to let them stop paying high on my site for their withdrawals.

bitcoin and etherium is not the only coin in the crypto universe so even if both of these coin requires a special a high fee that reason does not stop crypto gamblers for playing on thier favorite crypto platform and what i said just now is a solution that crypto devs and gamblers devs created just to cut the inconvience made by a the high surge in btc and eth fees . also there are called lightning network that said to aid the slowness of the network and to cut the expensive fees too  . why not add a kind of raffle with some prizes or some twist to attract the users to fill your survey because not all are going to do it i believe . just a suggest only

It depends on your time preference: I'mm sorry to say that if your are here to expect that bitcoin was better than the fiat system to allow you to gamble away your money in the fastest way possible, I think you're dead wrong.
Bitcoin was born for a reason which is not the one you may have in mind.

Done answering the survey , Hope this will Help improving the system in Fees for our gambling activities , because we as small gambler/ low rollers needs to at least lessen each fee if we cannot take it for free.
because this will hurt us all when the funds that supposedly budget for gambling comes lesser because of the fee.

The truth is that bitcoin was still usable months ago but the excitement over the bull market has made impossible to use legacy addresses anymore and if you happen to have a lot of inputs the price you need to get a confirmation is too high, so even if you were to consolidate those inputs and use segwit addresses the fees will still be too high.

What we need is then to use an altcoin that is relatively cheap and that has fast confirmations and without a doubt the best option for that at the moment is dogecoin.

When we do try to look on current gambling sites they are mostly having DOGE which means this wont really be a big problem after all.Bitcoin network could either be
congested or in the normal state anytime and few hours ago where fees was just only less than a dollar but now the market tends to have some nice rise in price
which did really affect once again when it comes to fee amount it raises back again in 125 sats/byte or almost $10 bucks again which do sucks.
When you do tend to make withdrawal then its better to wait up.

Even though these gambling sites are charging pay for instant withdrawals, most of the sites are still doing ot as batches so they are making profits from it which makes the players to wait longer for the fee they paid for it.

Hope we can help in whatever OP is planning here and the result will solve some issues in gambling sites nowadays specially the Transaction fees.

I suppose I've been using Bitcoin for so long I forget what a pain it can be for others during mempool congestion, especially those not used to using. Gambling for me means a single large deposit, with a consideration that the entire deposit is my gambling budget, and that it will most likely be lost in play. I won't redeposit so soon, not until I rebudget (or continue to win and play elsewhere). So it's not exactly a solution, but perhaps consider budgeting and depositing less frequently, choosing low mempool periods to do so?

I mean, I've hardly paid anything for all my years of depositing, 1 sat/byte is really my standard fee setting...

Until such a time layer 2 deposits become more common, anyway.

Answered the survey and recommend other coins with a minimal fee and fast confirmation, I recommend Tron Litecoin, BNB and Dogecoin, I have these coins/tokens on other gambling sites I'm playing like Stake and Betfury, but if you checked the site's stat many gamblers still prefer Bitcoin, even if the fees are high and take time to confirm.

Because some gambling sites only accepts bitcoin and people who are betting gor thousands doesn't really care about paying 2 or 3 dollar as fee, if they want to deposit other coins while they are only having Bitcoin they need to go to exchange and convert the btc into other coins which is also time consuming that is why many people don't really want to do that.

It seems that we are going to have to adjust to this new reality in many ways, one is obviously to use altcoins in order to reduce our transactions costs when we send our money to the casino.

But for those that hate them then it seems the only alternative will be instead of making small deposits whenever they feel the urge to gamble it seems it is a better option to wait for the fees to do down a little bit and then make a large deposit and use that to gamble for several weeks, but obviously this tactic can only be used in casinos in which you have gambled before and you trust.

For a better option, it would be better if there are at least 5-6 cryptocurrencies that must be accepted, I guess the top 10 altcoins are considered as good.
However, mainly accepting bitcoin on a gambling website is a good step and it will contribute a lot to the market price since bitcoin is very volatile.

I did visit the site but I'm not yet fill-up the form. We know that the bitcoin fee is very high at this moment there is nothing to ask that way, different gamblers have different prefer upon using digital currency to deposit and most are don't care how much the fee of bitcoin as long as they can gamble right away. I guess, the best answer is, the more cryptocurrencies as a deposit option, the more people have an option which they prefer.

Are you aware of some gambling websites which do not charge you fees at all? The only difference between them and other gambling sites is, their minimum withdrawal is higher compared to others. Except this, there is nothing different and you can enjoy almost all games that you find on other websites. If network fees are a reason for concern to gamblers, they must switch to other altcoins that are believed to perform good during this bull run because if the price shifts down, your profits will suffer.

I know FJ offers one free withdrawal every week for their user and it may take few mins to hours to proceed your transaction no matter it is free or paid. And look at the most of the gambling sites they never mention instant withdrawals, they mention it ad high priority which means your transaction may be procceed faster but not immediately at that time when you wanted to withdraw.

Everything also depends on the type of payment you want to make. If you pay with Bitcoins, a fee is inevitable. With fiat you sometimes pay no fee at all. If a bookmaker is big, I think they will pay for those fees themselves and not pass them on to the customers.

The network fee is one of the burdens of gamblers and traders. I hope that they could add more options like Tron. Being charged with a high network fee is really a struggle for most of us and having other options would help us save a bit. I hope that things like this would be possible in the future.

My suggestion on OP survey is to have a built in exchange that caters a coin with low transaction fee. For example if a player use Bitcoin. He can send directly his BTC to the casino so that he will save some withdrawal fee if he convert his token rather than converting BTC to exchange then transfer to Casino.

They can use Tron USDT as convertible token on there exchange since the conversion is internal. There will be no convertion fee applied on the transaction.

FJ is not alone that allows one free withdrawal per week, NitrogenSports does that too. But I was talking about Sportsbet where I do not get charged anything whenever I withdraw my funds. Instant withdrawals are not allowed any more on those websites because the price of btc and eth is too high and even if they charge big, they cannot afford to send prioritized transactions and batch it up to earn big on those fees.

They can really utilize this network issues or bloatup for them to make even more money with those fees this is why it would really be done in batch.

Based up on experience with FJ, it does have instant withdrawals but giving out an option neither those transaction would be in low or high priority.

Gambling sites are almost having instant withdrawals nowadays.Only a few do goes having normal processing.
