Title: Newbie and very confused, please help.
Post by: riverron on March 03, 2021, 02:34:09 AM
I bought bitcoin on coinbase and sent it to the address for ACR.  However, when I log on to ACR it still shows zero balance.  I clicked on the transaction and it's no longer pending, it says completed.  Why is it still not received by the ACR wallet if Coinbase says completed?  Please help!  Thanks in advance!

I dont know this ACR wallet. This might be a synchronization issue
Are you able to see your balance in a blockchain explorer?
Go to blockchain.com and paste your public address there (the same you gave coinbase to receive your funds).

Do you see any confirmation in blockchain.com?

If you do  your funds arrived and it is an issue with acr.

Do you have the seed  (24 words)?

Thank you for the quick reply.  I apologize I should have made it clear that ACR isn't a wallet, it's an online poker site.  I checked confirmation on blockchain and it says completed.  It might be an issue with ACR.

If ACR is this online cards site (https://www.cardschat.com/forum/poker-deposits-withdrawals-54/bitcoin-acr-370221/) you are referring to then your best bet would be to take a link of your confirmed transaction and contact their support as to why it is not appearing.

Those are custodial wallets managed by such sites themselves and the website has to update your in-site balance on their own platform.

If the transaction has multiple confirmations, then it is a website issue and not of stuck transactions etc.

I just contacted the website ACR and they replied telling me they are having issues with their cashier services temporarily and they are fixing the bugs in the software right now.  I've just never had this issue before so I was very nervous.  Thanks everyone for your responses!

Nice update. At least you're now at ease knowing where the glitch is. Anyway, it seems ACR is one reliable platform, among many others within WPN, so I guess you can somehow feel assured that your funds will arrive hopefully shortly. Good luck with your games, by the way.

As a newbie, you should know all the things before doing anything.

I'm afraid he/she came to know Bitcoin much earlier than you and actually uses it a lot more times than you do.

Quit the lecture. Knowing "all the things before doing anything" will certainly make you do nothing.

Please first you tell what do you mean ACR wallet. If you send you btc any other wallets without bitcoin. I think you lost your btc. But need to talk support team for back btc.

That might be the problem. If it's completed on Coinbase's end and they have provided you a transaction link and it's on the network, they can no longer provide you help with that.

And if ACR has told you that they are having issues.

They probably are experiencing a syncing problem that's why it's not appearing on your balance. Then, wait until they announce that the problem has been fixed.

No need to panic just yet, you should first check your transaction ID information on the blockchain explorer in order to make sure that it went the transaction actually went through. If it did finish sending, then perhaps the poker club hasn't credited your account yet.
Also, Coinbase is a very compliant exchange and it's in their terms that any transactions involved with gambling could have your account possibly seized (removed). So, You should possibly double check the "Terms & Agreements" for both parties, your poker club and for Coinbase, in order to be 100% sure your money wasn't jammed up.

Do you already check the address because sometimes once you sent it to the wrong address you can't take your money back? One of the best things is to double-check everything. Also, some of the online gambling or wallet requires a confirmation of 1 or 2 to reflect your wallet it's better if you put the transaction ID here so we can see it.

If you are still disturbed you can contact their website or customer support to take any action about their problem.

Ohh, that is great.
I think sometimes we need to be patient as well as we are experiencing delays this time. because even me, it worries a lot when we don't have any bad experience before but suddenly it goes like this. Every problem has solutions and much thankful for how their support system gives you an immediate response.

Well, I hope you are good now. So maybe it was not important to continue the discussion but mined for you to lock this thread.

Hello OP, did you later get your ACR deposit issue? It would be nice if you could get back to the community and share your feedback. You don't know might see this topic from anywhere like a search engine and decide to read in case they have similar issue but they end up not knowing how you got your issue resolved.

It's not lost yet. I believe they'll credit him since ACR team has acknowledged that the problem he has is from their end and has nothing to do with whether he sentto a wrong address or not.

You should at least read all replies not just the op before posting.

Not the case, CB cannot detect if the receiving address came from a poker/casino or any gambling related websites in just seconds or minute(s), its said that the tx goes through and even got confirmed so its not the case here.

For now, op should wait the development updates of the team, it must be affected due to the site's cashier services is the ones affected.

You should be patience for a while, because now in a traffic of transaction. And I had another doubt,at what transaction fee you had send the bitcoin. If you choose the less transaction fee as a transaction fee.It may take 2-3 days for the transaction. In three days, you can able to see the bitcoin on your wallet.

If ACR's support assure you that it may be fix soon then you just have to wait and your btc deposits will be credited soon. And just a reminder, coinbase prohibits any gambling site transactions. If your transaction now has been smoothly approved by coinbase, later on they will gonna freeze your account if they discover about ACR that is a poker website. Ive seen many conplaining their freeze account because of that issue.

Anyway, just wait for the ACR and chill at the moment. If they assure you that the problem on their side will be resolve soon, then it will just take some time.

As a newbie, you should know all the things before doing anything. You are making transaction using Bitcoin and I think you already knew about it how to do transaction. By the way, maybe it is delayed due to blockchain confirmation. You can check it on Blockchain explorer. If it is alright, then you may mistake something or you sent your funds to wrong address which not belongs to ACR.
But sometimes as a beginner a feeling of fear that arises will quickly react after what is not delivered. we have to tolerate that because when I was a beginner, I also experienced that. but I'm trying to find a way because there are many on google if you want to find it.

what often happens is usually delayed due to busy transactions and can even take days because we pay too low a fee.
but if our data is not there it can be ascertained that it was wrongly sent, and even then he can find out that we indeed sent the wrong one to another address.

I have played at ACR for many months, but haven't even touched it for years as it was filled with abusing and colluding bots. Anyway maybe something has changed and their software is fine now.
However there are a few things you need to know so you won't be surprised when things turn ugly.

  • Your Bitcoin in Coinbase is under Coinbase custody. You don't own the private keys so you don't actually own the Bitcoin there
  • Coinbase doesn't like gambling websites. They had frozen deposits on many occasions coming from gambling websites
  • The Bitcoin you send to ACR will be in their custody, again it won't be your Bitcoin
  • I have deposited/withdrawn cryptocurrencies many times using ACR without any problem, their support will fix anything that is their fault
  • I don't fully trust any online poker room, so there is always a chance you may lose all your money in any of them

Thank you for the very detailed message with great advice.  I will be switching from coinbase to make transaction with ACR in the future.  And I never keep thousands of dollars on the site, usually just a couple of hundred bucks.  When ever i do win i cash out using Cash App.  Appreciate you taking the time to give me all of the great advice.  Cheers.

Despite the fact that this board is for BITCOIN discussions and your topic revolves around BITCOIN as as it's team, it's still inappropriate on this board. I it could be more on the beginners and help board as help is the main thing you hope to get out of this thread.

Anyway, having a transaction remaked on it's status as complete simply means, the transferred volume ought to have reflected on the receiving address. I'm not very familiar with the wallet in question but, you should know that, if not all addresses receive bitcoins.
You are to ensure it's a deposit address that was involved and also to ensure its BITCOIN address.

true, I also experienced it when I was a beginner and there must be a sense of panic because of fear and actually the problem is that I chose the lowest transaction fee.
and choosing the lowest transaction fee takes a few days to approve, and suddenly triggers a panic reaction without realizing that what happened is because I chose the lowest transaction fee, and I found out after finding the answer through google.

you should with the support and give them your transaction confirmation link to sort it for you. next time you need to make confirmation of everything you want to do before you do it. as a newbie always remember that many actions are irrevirsible, let this guide you in everything you do especially transactional wise.

It seems the problem is with the poker site. I don't know how reliable these poker sites are. Did you do proper research about this poker site before dealing with it. Check the feedback of these poker sites to learn how reliable they are. As you are a newbie, so you should be careful in sending your funds here and there randomly. Right now you have to contact the support with your blockchain explorer confirmation. It may help your cause.

What did you mean with ACR? I think there are not any coin with symbol ACR on coinbase how ever we have to know with your problem detail, maybe if you sent some coin but still not progress you can check with transaction history and see your payment sending or not, if any mark with transaction have completed I think coinbase success sent your coin, just check on your ACR wallet and see have any coin received or not.

try to check blockchain, maybe its still traffic in the blockchain. try to track first your transaction and verify it, if it successful and your bitcoin is sent then it is the address or the site are problem with. you must contact ,email and file a ticket regarding your concern probably it will help you to solve problems.

Nope, it wasn't a mistake. OP already said it was confirmed on the blockchain. In simple term I think what happened was the ACR site receiving the Bitcoin in the wallet they issued to OP but haven't updated OP's account at the time. This happens all the time one makes a transfer to a trading site — Forex and Binary trading sites inclusive. It's really nothing to worry about. I write from experience. It should be sorted out.

it is the right choice, do not deposit too much on third party exchanges that you do not have full control of yourself. save it in your personal wallet. whenever you win you always cash it into cash, it's also a good choice to take any profit you get. The most important thing is to be careful every time you want to send your assets to another address, check periodically and make sure the address you are going to is correct. Losing assets due to your own fault will not be able to return it.
