I think it will be a good ideas if satoshi will give us a speech on his innovation,I will kindly like yo hear the speech or comments of satoshi about bitcoin, I don’t have a particular point to mention here, He should generalize his comments in all part of his innovative(Bitcoin) this will take bitcoin to $100k and more. Every one will link to see what will happen.

If they haven't made an appearance for the last decade, it's fair to assume you're not going to hear any speeches from them any time soon.  If ever.

I don't think your dream going to be true. Besides that, I think satoshi's mysteries not gonna end until he alive. Most likely we would hear or know about satoshi if he wants after he left, perhaps some voice records, videos or something else. But it would be quite complicated to identify real satoshi. Because many faketoshi already claimed as a satoshi. I don't think satoshi willing to fall into trouble by revealed his identity. There would happen many issues, so just forget about your dream, there is very little hope for that.

I believe Mr Satoshi has his reasons for staying incognito. Whatever his reasons may be, i believe it is best to respect it.

What kind of speech you want satoshi to give again, whatever you need to know is on the whitepaper, isn't that the reason why whitepaper exist ( I always wonder why it is called whitepaper though)
Satoshi is resting somewhere far away and don't have the need to address and speak to people about what he created, he had done what needs to be done, your own part is use it wisely and enjoy it.

I do believe the main intentions of the creators was not seeing bitcoins achieve innumerable heights in terms of price but it was to guide people towards the options that they do have in a centralized economic system and therefore if they do make even a little speech then the whole governmental organizations will run after him to track him , people like Wright might have some indecisive plans to do something, the government might drag him and hold him accountable for the misuse , his family can be targeted and he would have no life whatsoever. The US in the past did make claims about how bitcoins is nothing but a software invented to track people etc.. they might send the whole FBI unit in his house. Do you still think it would be safe for him to make a move online ? Even as small as sending an email address might get him tracked since this is what the government is waiting for. They have spies with eyes set on him !

Why are you so convinced that Satoshi is a "them"? I'm not saying he/she couldn't have any partners, but the pseudonym could still be just a single person. ;)

Nevertheless, whoever created Bitcoin surely had higher purpose in mind and perhaps the goal is for the currency to successfully replace our old, broken financial system.
We might only find out who Satoshi was after a few generations when one of his grandchilds would decide to honor him. 

Grammatical vagaries are problematic, heh.  My usage of they/them is only in regard to not knowing their preferred personal pronouns.  For what it's worth, I get the impression satoshi was an individual.  I'm reasonably certain every post made by satoshi on this forum and the cryptography mailing list were made by the same person.



It's always difficult to judge intent.  We can only speculate on that. 

Sounds like the OP is in a hurry to get to $100k and wants Satoshi to accelerate
that journey.

I agree as do the majority of people here I guess, We dont need to hear what Satoshi
might say about Bitcoin, Satoshi created it and left it to others to carry it forward.
The Satoshi entity will be happy with how far it has grown and is happy to stay silent.

I think it will be a good idea to really let Satoshi enjoy his "retirement". He has been gone for the last 10 years so be it. The closest that we can get to him is just read the whitepaper, read his posts hear in this community. $100k? Don't you worry it will be achieved this year without Satoshi speech's.

But it will remain as an idea until he truly shows himself and proves that he's the real satoshi.

However, if you're asking for that idea that he will give a speech. How are you going to ask that request for someone that hasn't been seen for several years?

Satoshi Nakamoto has already given us a speech on his innovation, as well as plenty of commentary. The real Satoshi is rumored to have had a Bitcointalk account at one point in time or another, at least that's what the urban legends say. I think that Bitcoin actually speaks for itself. I think that  it's actually the Blockchain technology that is the real innovation behind the cryptocurrency phenomenon, that is the real game changer.

Satoshi would have spoken since this kind of thread was opened in this past. :o It is another kind of thread that we won't hear satoshi disclosing any of such information, if Op knows his existence then we are going to be glad hearing that.

You do understand that Satoshi Nakamoto stopped being active for 10 years now? Since then he didn't write any comments here or anywhere else for that matter, neither he sent email to anyone so I doubt that he will show up now and and grant your request for a speech.

If you really want to read everything that Satoshi ever wrote, I suggest that you check The Complete Satoshi (https://satoshi.nakamotoinstitute.org/). Everything is there; emails, forum posts, code, quotes and of course Bitcoin whitepaper.

Your wish is difficult, but although it sounds crazy, everything is possible as long as life exists, although Satoshi has left one of the best wonders of the world, I think that now the fact that Satoshi does not know who he is, gives even more value to Bitcoin .

It is not known if Satoshi is only 1 person or many, perhaps best of all is that you never know who he is. In history there have been many who have written history, others have made history, others are heroes and here there is Satoshi who is classified for me as a hero who has made history. The only way he can be known is to leave a signed message, and it is something that if possible.

satoshi did what I think is best for his creation, let it loose without much interference from him. I wouldn't want satoshi to do some talk or speech because the enigma behind his disappearance to the public will be lost, as the quote above says, the whitepaper has it all already, what is left for satoshi to say? That I don't know.

Satoshi is very enigmatic in all for being anonymous, since I start joining this forum I never been incountered anyone who says they have talk with satoshi the author of bitcoin.

Hope he talk to us, and reveal who he is in real, and enlighten us/ who need his word about his invention which is bitcoin

Its going to put Bitcoin itself in danger if satoshi does that. He'd be traced easily by the time he'd post here and will likely be forced to produce his keys to his wallet. The people in power right now will do just about anything to stop BTC and all other cryptocurrency to stop. Satoshi better just be somewhere else minding his own life never bothering to be associated with BTC.

Except fee self claimed jokers who have claimed they are the original Satoshi in the last decade, I think the real Satoshi will come forward and answer your request. The name is pseudo name which meant they or him/her wants to remain hidden. In my opinion it is better for them and better for us that the situation remains the same in the future as it has remained in last decade.

We also have to respect that satoshi wants to keep the privacy that he/she has the right to have. The enigma surrounding the real identity of satoshi is what makes him/her interesting and if satoshi were to remove that spell by revealing himself to the public, I think that our fascination towards satoshi will be gone forever.

You have it all wrong my friend... if Satoshi suddenly come out of hiding to talk about Bitcoin.. it will be devastating to the Bitcoin price. Remember one thing... Satoshi is rumored to have access to over 1 000 000 bitcoins and even the rumor that he/she/they are alive, will send the market into a panic.

Most people think Satoshi Nakamoto is dead or he lost access to the Private keys for the million+ coins he/she or they have...  If it becomes known that he/she or they might still have access to those coins, then speculators will start dumping coins ..in fear that Satoshi might dump those coins onto the market. (flooding the Supply of coins and crashing the Bitcoin price)  ::)

I can't imagine Satoshi appearing out of nowhere,after all those years of hiding,and having a public speech about the future of Bitcoin.He is not the type of guy,who will appear publicly and reveal himself.
Anyways,it would be great,if he starts to use his Bitcointalk account again and posts his vision about the future of BTC and the cryptocurrency world.
I really hope that Satoshi Nakamoto is still alive.

Actually we can say that he is that of shy type, he goes silent suddenly and we really don't know what happen to him.


That will be great if he keeps his Bitcointalk active and just don't suddenly disappear. But I guess he really wanted to speak to us through his invention. And it seems after he goes down, the project itself move forward fortunately and now the future of BTC looks very bright even if he is absent for many years now.

I think that Satoshi will never reveal himself as he just want to have a peaceful life and keep the mystery in bitcoin.

That's one of the factors why bitcoin becomes interesting, the creator is unknown and we don't have any idea about his agenda or the reason behind the creation of bitcoin.

It is much better if all of those information will comes from himself, I also want to know who's the real Satoshi but I don't mind it that much. I'm just focusing on my coins and make it grow rather than thinking about that because maybe we never know, sooner or later he will reveal himself in the internet.

I think there's enough information about the purpose of Bitcoin in the words of satoshi if you search for his posts that go back to 2008-2009 in the forum, I don't get it why so many people want satoshi to make an appearance again since I don't see how that will help the cause or purpose of Bitcoin as a peer-to-peer payment network.

Satoshi started a movement of cryptocurrencies, not just Bitcoin, and that means many other coins nowadays exist because of Bitcoin and that's what matters, knowing who satoshi is not going to change anything for the better.

That would be a very bad idea, and I'll tell you why. Proponents of the idea that Bitcoin is a kind of financial fraud claim that the person who invented BTC will then dump all his coins and actually destroy BTC. Only confirmation that the actual Satoshi appeared, in my opinion would provoke just the opposite of what you expect - panic and sell off in fear of his alleged 1+ million BTC.

If you want to see someone from the Satoshi era, read the signed message with more than 100 BTC addresses from 2009 - who knows, maybe it was signed by Satoshi himself.

They won't and it won't matter.
They have been inactive for quite some time now and surely it will stay like for an indefinite time. Imagine if they made an activity right now here in the forum. It will surely blow everyone's mind including the media.
It will somehow eliminate fake-toshis in this forum, but meh don't count on their appearance anytime soon.

That would be really great if Satoshi will give us a speech on how he invented this bitcoin and what are the things inside on his/her head so that it may inspire us on his motivation and and thinking but the thing is that on the last decade we didn't hear any speech or any information about the identity of this Satoshi so it would be hard for us to know if he/she will choose to reveal his/her true identity and if that comes we will not be able to be sure if it is really him. I am waiting if that time comes that we will be able to hear some speech about his innovation.

Satoshi Nakamoto will never show up himself. Already with the creation of bitcoin, he took steps to remain anonymous. Also, nothing has been heard about him for the last more than ten years. If he is still alive, then without his desire people will not find him. The bitcoins that he supposedly owns are still inactive. Every year the chances that he will appear on his own disappear.

and what if satoshi has responded without you knowing or how will you know if an anonymous talks to you about bitcoin innovation. i am not ruling it out because i know it could happen, but i am pretty sure it wont happen in a way that everyone will know. bitcoin will be above 100k , only time will tell. there is no need to rush it. just be prepared for the ups and downs.

Yeah, that's actually a good point.  I now wish I'd said it, heh.  Some people wrongly seem to assume satoshi is some sort of performing monkey who can be summoned to do a little stage show.  It definitely doesn't work like that.  The information we've already been given is ample.  There's no need to ask for more.

Every time you make a transaction you acquire bitcoin or write about bitcoin, even with opposition, you are being part of Satoshi's speech. All that exists in relation to bitcoin is its discourse.

We didnt even know on who he is, what he look like or doesnt know if he's alive or not but for sure thatt he's been looking out on the success of his creation.

He might not be showing off into the public but for sure he's way too proud on how Bitcoin help out not only on the innovation of payment system but also into the opportunity that it do

does btc already have it's white paper ? And by that you can read the details if what is btc meant for or what its plans but with so many years btc remained I guess what is written in its white paper is already done and fullfilled and no need for Satoshi to appear .
 If 100k is what you want for btc all you need to do is to wait because btc value can get there soon  and you can also speed up the process by helping spreading the word Bitcoin to the people in your country .
 Every new invested amount in btc counts towards reaching that 100k

Satoshi has dropped legacy that is well known, speaking to us is really OK but in what aspect will speak to us, whatever we need concerning cryptocurrency is already in internet so expecting satoshi to speak I don't think is necessary, so via forum which is was created by satoshi for cryptocurrency discussion via forum, theymos and other staffs of the community are there to enlighten us in all ramifications of crypto, so online carries the necessary documents that are open to cryptocurrency.

Satoshi was a real person who's privacy was destroyed by the person who callously used his real name, knowing that he was a real person living in the same town as Hal Finney.

Sure, I will feel great if he/she talk to us. Though, him/she coming out might also weaken Bitcoin because nobody knows his/her country or continent. This might promote strive between nations. So been anonymous is the best for him/her.

I'm pretty sure he does this often. He just doesn't use the name "Satoshi" because he doesn't want to die or go to prison. But some of the old schoolers know who he is.

As most think Satoshi will not appear. If anyone wants to know how he thought about the development of bitcoin. Take a look at the threads and comments on the forum that Satoshi created and relive his emotions.

We have a wonderful technology that left us and with what we have achieved so far bitcoin can very well reach the price of 100K.

I agree to this. Satoshi doesn't need to show himself or say anything at all because at the end there's no point showing his identity. All what he wanted to say are already written in the whitepaper that he published so what more do we need to know?

And I also don't think his appearance would bring bitcoin price to $100k. Because it will only attracts the attention of those bitcoin/crypto enthusiast and not those who are not a bitcoin fan. So it won't gonna have an effect at all. Only if there is an idea that he wanted to add in bitcoin, maybe. But not just my simply showing his identity.
