Title: Anyone here use tradingview?
Post by: beamin on March 04, 2021, 10:31:59 AM
I just started using this and it seems great even though you have to pay for it. I'm legally blind so it took me a while to get my charts set up. My question is this how can I make/clone this chart with other coins; same layout/tools different coin? I would start playing around with it but I dont want to mess up what I have set up since I'm actively trading and not quite sure how I got it set up. Does anyone here use trading view? Thanks.

You don't have to pay if you just use the basic tools as far as I'm aware. According to this https://www.forex4noobs.com/tradingview-beginners-guide/ guide, you can use it by setting up a template. Check it out, there are more details there.

Different indicators on the chart will not be remove you switch to other pairs or coins. But the drawings like trendline or fibonacci retracement seems impossible to clone to other pairs, especially in mobile phone.
Have you tried on the browser using CTRL+A +CTRL+C and CTRL+V to selected pair.

I do all my charting of BTCUSD (https://de.tradingview.com/symbols/BTCUSD/) on TradingView. As long as you work with one window/tab, everything works fine for me. Its free and everything one needs. In case you want to get a paid plan, I can only tell you to wait for Black Friday, as they give out 40-60% discounts.

You could create your templates AFAIK. You can see it here and just apply it every time you are looking at a different coin.

Easily transfer it or something and no more making additional changes to the values etc.

everybody use tradingview. you can use 3 indicators for the free use of tradingview. 3 indicators i think are enough to help you decide on your trades. i have no experience with paid subscriptions but i guess you can save profiles with it which every profile will have separate data from the others. its easy to use it with your desktop but its with smartphone that i messed it up.

It's free to use basic version. I use trading view implemented in Binance since that's the exchange I use. With that I have it easier to track all on one screen.

the trading view is the benchmark and all market movements or crpto converge on it. You can use indicators according to what you understand. There is no need to pay, because when you pay it doesn't necessarily match and match your own trading pattern. all have a way of reading the coin price. just use the template and save the benchmark to match with other coins.

You can save a template for indicators you use in a set. Indicator Templates With a Saved Symbol (https://www.tradingview.com/blog/en/indicator-templates-with-a-saved-symbol-19213/)

If you don't save any template, when you open your trading view with a register account again, it will automatically give you price chart with same indicators you used in the last (previous) session.

If you saved templates, you can switch between them for your chart, from template1 to template10. You can name your templates.

I believe he is using more than 3 indicators at the same time that's why he is using a premium account which is still good if he is a full time trader that watching graph most of his time.

There's a code for your indicators if you are using Web version. You can just copy and embed it on different coin chart to copy all your indicators on it. But if you set 3 indicators on one of your then you add another coin, It already copy your indicators that you place on the first coin. All the line, fibo and other tool can't be copy tho.

I have a binance acct with 1000$ in it that I have been trying to get the user name and password to. Their tech support sucks

I just paid the 15 bucks because I dont want to deal with any BS while trading. The money I make trading well pays for it.

Im getting frustrated with the interface because I will run it on my phone different then on my PC since im legally blind and use the phone for quick glances, then trade in CBPro, seems more familiar to me.

I just want three panes: Price, bolinger band, and awesome oscillator and want all three to sync to the same time frame so I can quickly look at 1hr 6hr 1 day and 15min. Maybe I just cant see...

Thanks for all the help. This is going to be my job since im disabled and spend most of my day in bed. Im trying to get a real job but the program im in for the blind/disabled has me scoring too low on the physical test before they will place me into an office job. Social security just doesnt pay enough, even if you worked and paid taxes your whole life they dont give you shit back if you become disabled. Im lucky to have a computer and crypto, I just have to work the bugs out. If I had a sighted person come to my house for an hour and explain this I would be set.

Do I miss something on Binance? I only know 2 options to log in account on Binance: phone number or email address and password. No username is used to create or log in account.

Did you click on X and disable all indicators on the chart? Binance allows two tabs on computer: Original or Trading view. You can choose the Trading view tab and get many indicators.

Tradingview can be used for free, it has very good tools, but there is another one that I recommend that is very useful in terms of volume, they have great precision and it is called tensorcharts.com, it is very good, it also has to use its tools of Free of charge, of course it has its paid version, but I recommend that you explore it first and if you can use it for free it is much better.

A peculiarity is that the volume when you see it in green on tensorcharts.com means purchases and the red color is sales, very different from tradingview which may have the same colors by default, but represent only the amount of negotiations.
