Title: Why I cannot find an operational service to buy/sell Crypto through?
Post by: themo7sn on March 05, 2021, 01:30:07 PM
All the exist services asks for an extensive and aggressive customer verification
including an international passport (which I don't have)

I aware , there's many P2P listings websites
but I want to deal directly with a legit platform to buy/sell more instantly without much negotiations

any recommendations ?

I've personally used both Bisq and Uniswap in the past few months [for a single time] and didn't encounter any issues but don't take it as a recommendation since my experience is just a short-term one.

  • I would recommend reading the comments [might come in handy] from the following threads and decide for yourself:
    • List of P2P/no-KYC exchanges (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5180421.0)
    • A list of LocalBitcoin alternatives (P2P marketplaces) (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5224711.0)

Sorry to break it to you but the days when you would trade in centralized exchanges without having to get worried about KYC verifications are long gone. Most popular centralized platforms are a huge target by authorities, and therefore they are forced to abide by the KYC/AML policies and enforce them.

You want Non KYC platforms? Then you are going to settle for less popular p2p exchanges

You can also trade in exchanges like Binance and Kucoin so long as you are comfortable with low limits for unverified accounts, but you must be ready for KYC in case they request for it anytime.

No KYC/AML documents === more risk for getting scammed. But I understand what you want to achieve, more anonymous and keep off the radar.
But @Bitcoin_Arena is right, most of the centralized exchanges now are needed to submit some documents, but there are some who offers no KYC but there are lot of limitations like limit on withdrawals.
As of BINANCE P2P, If you are not verified there or no KYC documents submitted, you can't trade on their P2P platform, I already tried it.

You are asking for things that do not exist in this sector yet - legit platforms to do trades in but you are not willing to verify yourself. Just for comparison with fiat markets, have you ever tried to set up an account on a stock market broker's app? Based on where you are located some sort of KYC verification is a must there.

Asking for international passport - probably you are out of luck and depending on your location this might be a specific need. Have you contacted your local users and asked them about their opinions?

Still there are non-kyc exchanges that have limitation on withdrawals for such users which you can use. P2P on this forum's "Currency exchange" will also be a non-kyc transaction but you will be risking yourself to scammers so use an escrow to mediate the trade.

I don't know the amount of dollars worth coin you want to transact on the required platform but I will tell you to switch to other p2p centralised platform that would require country national ID, drivers license, for easy verification. But mind you, transacting larger amount of money will tight you to verify your identity on all p2p exchange, so if you want to escape that, go transact on a lower amount of money gradually.
