In order to prevent such phishing scams, the best method is to bookmark the official sites on the browsers that you would generally use to visit the site. Uniswap has become popular and few the side effects of popularity is hacking attempts and clone phishing sites.

OP, where exactly did you find this site linked? These URLs are sometimes going to end up in Search Engines which would mean they are doing SEO by some method or spreading the phishing sites via emails and social media messages.

Either way the scammer running the site cannot be stopped but NameCheap can be informed of the same - how to do that, is written here

I guess many have reported the site is now marked as a deceptive site, people should be fast to report phishing to help newbies not to fall into this kind of scam, and we should always check if the traffic data of the site, the reputable site has good traffic compare to a phishing site which shows zero data, of course apart from bookmarking the right site.

These days everytime I will encounter fake websites I’m mandatory reporting it, there’s a lot them but reporting is part of my internet routine now.

It's good to see that this fake Uniswap website is no longer available. This website has been blocked due to reports from the crypto community. As soon as the crypto community takes action against such scams, new members of the crypto community will be safe. Scammers are desperate to try to scam crypto investors, they are using every popular way to scam.

Now it is important for crypto investors to check the url of a website before connecting any kind of wallet and give the information after confirming the real website.

Before the website goes off, the Scammers had benefited from their hard work done in creating the site, I don't know how long the site stay but for sure, they scammed the little as many that comes in for transaction at that moment. I don't know if there's a tools that would automatically detect a fake site and report it immediately in creating awareness to noobs in the crypto space.

Similar app too have developed impersonating uniswap dex, the scammers spending a lot of money to lure people, so ways to fight them is instant report when detected.
