Title: Any opinions on Reddcoin?
Post by: CR_Anders on March 10, 2021, 08:12:37 PM
I thought that RDD would gain a lot more traction than it has being that its primary use is to enable micropayments on social media platforms.  The price of RDD has quadrupled in the last year, but still seems far below expections.  Anyone know something more about his coin and its potential value?

AFAIK, it's one of the oldest coins in the market. It's not that the same anymore as before and if you're looking for traction, you better invest in those coins that are very popular and gains traction in the market. And its chart doesn't show a good sign that it's an interesting coin.
Just get the hint on its chart.

agree.  its had a nice bump in the past month so maybe there is some renewed interest that is percolating.  Bought them a long time ago so nice to see some upward action lately.

At what price you've bought it? There's a recent surge for it but if you've bought during its bull run, you're still far from breaking even. But if you're fine waiting again for this coin to pump.
Not discouraging you though but it will really take a lot of time before you might see it again par with the past ATH. Just by looking at its charts, it shows that you need more patience for waiting it.

yes, charts aside, i wonder if the premise for creating the coin will ever materialize...that is will the masses adopt this coin for use in micro-payments on social media.  Seems like every social platform has their own currency to reward and send with.

If you analyze the graph from 2017 to today, you can see that this coin would give x100, invested $ 1000 in 2017, now you would get $ 100,000, this really inspires.

Is there any new development from Reddcoin side? from what I have seen so far, they are pretty much look like Dogecoin at this point.
they have achieved that microtransaction for a while and only focused on becoming social transaction coin,
it does not amount too much for me compared to another coin but as one of the oldest coin to survive, it should have a huge community base behind it so that means there should be no problem holding it, the chart looks interesting too.

consider the following:

what was the price of this altcoin in relation to bitcoin until last year or years ago?

why do you have to take that into consideration?

because many altcoins are increasing in price in relation to USD because the bitcoin price is increasing a lot, but altcoins are not increasing their prices in relation to bitcoin too much

and technology is increasingly competitive and this altcoin does not seem to me to be able to compete with other projects like BNB even if they are projects with different purposes

I do remember this Reddcoin and this is an old one and just like on typical crypto space on where coins could really possibly make some pump then its normal.
When it comes to usage? Im not really that much of on interested because most of those coins with those years are just typically using most common
blockchain platforms if not then those arent really that much exceptional or extraordinary. If you do saw that this coin had been pumped so be aware and
be cautious.Lucky if you are a bag holder of this one but if you are just tending to make out investment then better not.

I am not surprise to see all these low priced tokens pump since Doge coin did well recently and all these gamblers are looking for the next big thing in town. People need to watch it now because these is how whales work, pump one token and suck people in and dump on them, then they turn to bag holders, you will later sell to them at the bottom

It's a lower priced staking coin with good % and on several exchanges.  That alone is saying a lot if you like to stake and have control of your own coins.
