 I bought my 2nd GTX 1660 today, connected it and when I started it for mining I got this error:

CUDA Error: out of memory (err_no=2)

Device 2 exception, exit ...

Can anyone help me how to fix this error?

Components:

MSI B450M Pro-VDH Max AMD B450

AMD Ryzen 5 2600 6x 3.40GHz

8GB (2x 4096MB) G.Skill Value DDR4-2400 DIMM CL15

500 Watt be quiet! System Power 9 Non-Modular 80+ Bronze

GTX1660 6GB; RX 580 8GB

Same setup as mine  8), the reason why you getting error is because you don't increase your page file, you need to edit the page file and insert 6+6+8 gb size as the page file, that's 20gb and your miner will run peacefully, here is a tutor

Yes increasing the page file will work if you are mining ETH. If you are trying to mine Cuckatoo it's a very VRAM intensive algorithm. On Windows 10, you can't with 8GB or less VRAM GPU's because Windows 10 allocates too much VRAM for each GPU. You can mine Cuckatoo31 with 8GB GPU's on Windows 7 or Linux.
