i have this options to buy: Motherboard Msi z270 1151 Mother Asrock B450 Pro4 ATX AM4 Mother MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX II AM4 in case of amd, i can use a Ryzen 5 1600 AF Zen? Thanks to all! Post by: Commie on March 23, 2021, 06:17:13 AM Z270 would be my choice too, but double check specs of particular motherboard before you buy and make sure all pci/m2 slots can be used simultaneously, not all motherboards can do that. I would also consider a riser free motherboard like Rebtech to eliminate the need for those pesky risers, gives you some room for further expansion as well.

I remember that these motherboards had problems if more than 4 video cards were installed. Perhaps the problem has already been resolved through a BIOS update.
Ryzen 5 1600 is a very cool processor to use in a mining farm. I would go for a cheaper version. |
