You can do it on your own.
If you know your BTC address, just enter it into a block explorer like blockchair.com (http://blockchair.com)
If you don't know your address, you first need to click on "Window" and select "Receiving addresses" to see all your addresses.

No :P Don't send your wallet.dat to anyone. You can enter your addresses on Blockchair.com (https://blockchair.com/) to get your balance.

The only thing I know is only if you remember your wallet address and check it to bitcoin blockchain explorers.

Now, if you don't have a copy of your wallet address, then best thing to do is to wait til you download the whole blockchain which is more than 300 GB now, good luck. Cheers.

If you let Bitcoin Core sync up to 2015, your balance should appear. That shouldn't take too long to do.

What wallet that you've used?
The Bitcoin receiving address should be there, try to hit the button "Receive" in your wallet and click "show address", it's either QR code or written in characters.

There's a 3 Bitcoin address format used by now and should be 26-35 characters long, consist of alphabetic and numeric characters.
  • P2PKH (address starts with the number “1”)
  • P2SH (address starts with the number “3”)
  • Bech32 (address starts with “bc1”)

Even how long Bitcoin transaction is, there supposed to be on the history list and recorded on the blockchain database, it's a record-keeping behind the Bitcoin network, and you can trace the transaction anytime using the link given above, blockchair.com.

The file size is approximately 1MB, -snip-
That's quite a large size for a non-HD wallet since HD was introduced in version 0.13.0 (release notes (https://bitcoincore.org/en/2016/08/23/release-0.13.0/#bip32-hd-wallet-support)), must have a lot of transactions in there.
Anyways, you can't just generate an address in receive tab because it'll produce a random keypair, you'll have to sync the wallet 'till that date, it's about 30-40GB worth of blocks.

Or are you asking how to get the transaction IDs and the 'transactions' tab is populated with year2015 transactions?
If so, just double-click any transaction and you'll see a Transaction ID in bold there, the 64 characters next to it is the txid.
