To take part in the auction please register here: https://theo932969.typeform.com/to/VP5quroX (https://theo932969.typeform.com/to/VP5quroX) To see pictures of the coin check out: http://t.me/nftlots (http://t.me/nftlots) ==ITEM== 25 BTC "Version 2" coin loaded with 25 BTC, minikey address: 1Goe6LR2 XCHAIN Asset link: https://xchain.io/asset/PHYSICALBTC.25BTC1GOE6LR2 Mintage year: 2011 Funding year: 2011 Material: Gold-Plated Alloy The balance can be observed at: 1Goe6LR2xP4Ss4g3KSLgPQ5vPmYWaZyZAh ==DESCRIPTION== A Casascius coin is a bitcoin "cold storage" wallet made of metal with a holographic security sticker attached. Underneath this sticker lies a piece of paper containing a private key which can be used to acquire the bitcoins contained within the coin's address. The hologram will be destroyed upon redemption. The unblemished hologram on this coin attests to the fact that the coin has not been redeemed and is fully funded. ==HISTORY== Mike Caldwell, the creator and distributor of these coins, was shut down by Fincen in 2013. A plethora of similar coins (Lealana, Denarium, Spartan Titan...) plopped up over the years, but none of them were able to capture the importance or iconic place in Bitcoin history that Casascius coins represent. The imagery of these coins has been frequently displayed in the media in articles relating to Bitcoin. ==SCARCITY== 1/18 Of a remaining 228 unredeemed Version 2 coins, only 29 coins with the 2011 date were actually funded in 2011 (the date on the front of the coin). As of March 2021, only 18 of these 29 coins remain funded and unopened, making these some of the most rare Casascius coins in existence. ==VALUE== The coin was funded with 25 BTC in December of 2011 and includes all past and future forks (BCH, BSV, ABC...) from that date and forward. If the ADDRESS field does not match the MINIKEY address in the images, the coin might have been redeemed. If the ADDRESS of the coin is EMPTY, the coin might have been redeemed. ==DELIVERY / INSURANCE== The buyer of this token may request the seller to safely store (bank deposit box) and insure the item up to the maximum insurable amount at the buyer's expense. The buyer of this token may collect the physical item from the seller at the seller's expense (round trip, business class, one person). The buyer of this token may request shipping with or without shipping insurance at their own expense and risk (conditional on shipability and insureability from the custodian's location). ==ESCROW== Escrow fee 2% shared between buyer and seller ==DONATION== 10% of all proceeds exceeding 40 BTC will be donated to the Counterparty Foundation and the development of Freewallet.io ==MINIMUM BID== 35 BTC Title: Re: 2011 25 BTC Casacius in LIVE Auction Post by: dozerz on March 29, 2021, 07:01:34 AM so youve priced the nft at 10 btc? ::)

Hopefully a small hurdle for a 10BTC profit :)Title: Re: 2011 25 BTC Casacius in LIVE Auction Post by: msin on April 04, 2021, 05:39:42 AM Did you end up selling the 25btc Cas? Kind of a cool method to sell via NFT. A hefty premium but interested to see if this went through.
Title: Re: 2011 25 BTC Casacius in LIVE Auction Post by: wheelz1200 on April 05, 2021, 02:10:36 PM That premium is bonkers in today's market. Would also like to know what if any buyers there were. And on top of the 35btc there is a 2%escrow fee? What is the function of the escrow and who would be the escrow in this transaction? For what its worth I'm sure we all hope you got at least the min bid but I would assume you didnt.
