These kits may (see below) allow an individual of your choice to get genotyped on 23andMe's custom Illumina microarray (~990,000 SNPs), receive 23andMe's annotated data, and allow you to download your raw data (example files (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AlJjaPERgZNadDh1TXowUnR4TFN3MmhEWl9EbXZQd0E&authkey=CM_q04kO&hl=en_US#gid=0)). These kits are also prepaid for 1 year.
These kits, if not expired now, will probably expire very soon. It has been over a year since their purchase date. It's not really kosher to sell the kits (or rather is against their ToS), so the only charge will be the 2 BTC for shipping via Priority Mail. Limit one per person. This webpage (https://www.23andme.com/you/faqwin/beforeyoubuygift/) says that they cannot be used more than 12 months after the purchase date. Would love to get one, if you can somehow show that the kits can still be used. Some communication from 23andMe has led me to believe the kits may still be processed, but I can't guarantee anything. I suggest only parting with the 2 BTC if you're fine with that..
