I will try to picks some coins and here's my list.

1. Casper - A new blockchain with a very big hype and it will be lauching its mainnet within a few hours from now.
2. Mina protocol - this is a new blockchain protocol with the lightest blockchain in the world. The client is so small. This is a promising protocol
3. BGL - This coin has a fixed supply and 90% fees dedicated to burn the supply.

I'm not in a search for extra high profit, that is why one of my picks will be an exchange token. I think BNB has a potential to increase its cost; at least not to fall deeply. I think that having an exchange token is a must, because exchanges will always try to come up with something new to get new users or to lure them from other exchange. My second pick will be Polkadot. I like how this altcoin grows and develops. I think it has all the chances to be in top for a long time.

Altcoin price volatility is triggered when the trend wants it to take the stage. so I always have the option to pick up and throw away. except for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and also BNB. these three will always be the most favorite.

It is undeniable that part of the portfolio for altcoin I dedicate to Polkadot and tokens that are under its network .. we all know, the growth of altcoin which today is being rumored to compete with coins of the same class as Ethereum. and I'm sure they can gradually achieve their goal of being in the Coinmarketcap ranking for quality in the market.

I expect XTZ to surprise us all. Neo could be a good pick too. Old coins with a lot of profitability ahead.

If its about the old project, then I can still choose BTC and ETH, since I’m holding much of my funds with them and I believe, we are still bound for more heights this year so this is my top 2 picks under the category of old project.

We also have to admit that there’s a lot of new good project well at least a year old that has a big potential to rise as well this year and my top 2 picks is DIA and CAKE because i see the potential between this two and I’m not being biased here since I’m also holding some of it.

Just because they burn huge supply that would already make them grow?

But how about the fundamentals, their real development, their partnerships? I guess they also need to take care of what exchange they'll list, the bigger exchange the better opportunity for them to market the project. I know it has pumped recently, but I'd like to know aside from the fact you've mentioned, what are the other reasons that makes its potential look great?

DOT and ADA.

Before this year I only held BTC, ETH, and LINK long term. This year I've picked up DOT, ADA, and BAT.
BAT I think will take a few years for the Brave browser to gradually build momentum, but I think with both ADA and DOT achieving full functionality later this year they will cement themselves as the #3 and #4 coins in the market this year so those are my two picks for the year.

I have been looking closely at many altcoins and Polkadot catches my attention, the news is very good, I have studied his chart and he has good sights to continue growing. In some outstanding news I have come across one that claims that Coinbase Ventures supports Defi in the Polkadot ecosystem, so Dot is a coin that has a lot of potential and has gained a lot of community, I think it has incredible potential, it is also in the top 10 by CMC.

The crypto market capitalization is undoubtedly one of the highest in history, when the altcoin season begins I am sure that Dot will be among those that will rise the most.

I have Bought Polkadots recently and also SOV  though I have some other coins on my Folio yet i love adding more for the Incoming Bullrun this 2021. I am planning to Sell My Ethereum after reaching 2,500$ and will convert to Other coins that Might get my attention as there are plenty of time that we can gather another coin to believe .
Now that ETH already break 2k again so i guess i will only need to wait for a while and then i'm good to go.

Theres a lot of new and promising altcoins this year but my two most picks are;

- EOS that used DPoS and can compare to ETH's program like multi language system and scalability.

Aside from that I still considered TRX. Ive been holding it for many months now and its great to see how far it went today.
Theyve also have DEX platform it can be level to those new dex coins.

Cake and BNB you say? I have been a very frequent critic of Binance for many years but I guess I have to admit here that they may finally be on to something after all. I still think BNB is severely overpriced with all the usage now only for pancake and other defi but I guess only time will tell.

am just going to hold any alts i earn from now to end of the year, i really don't have a special pick since in bull run nearly everything in the market will experience a huge price pump, but if am to pick, i think i would probably pick, ada, ltx, enj, bnb dot, (there are many of them you see  :D) i just believe all potential project will increase in price at some point this year.

Currently I'm staying with LTC and TRX. Ltc price hasn't got any big break through, but I'm positive about it. Probably it will reach at a good point in this year. Trx getting more popularity and many DeFi projects using their networks. So it's a good choice to have TRX. Let's see how far these two coins can grow. Can't say what will happen at the end but there will be better position in between. And it will be a positive year for most of the top altcoins.

for now my bet is Binance coin and tron
with low transaction fees, i believe both altcoins will growing more in current market situations

Despite of many believes that the bull market will end this year, I'm still confident about the project I'm holding right now and my top two picks is ADA and BNB because I know the peak will still come for them and the market will continue to move accordingly. If we see some bottom this year, that can be a best time to buy again and hold so there's no need to panic. There's a lot of good project, but you only have to focus on the good one to avoid big losses.

ETH and BNB on my end. This coming July, there will be changes in eth.
And I am wishing that the price will improve more. Right now, eth already crossed the 2k mark.
With regards to BNB, their BSC platform is still picking up and growing.
So high likely that their price in the market will grow in the next coming months.
In my opinion, you can never go wrong with the top 2 and 3 platforms in the crypto market.

Been positive about the coins is not enough mate and the last time I checked the coins didn't get any big breakthrough as you said because they are f**k up coin with just an ordinary name.
The 2 outstanding picks as altcoin is considered I think ones should consider till the end of this year are ETH(if tx fee is not a pain) or DOT and LINK.

I'd look for something either new (recent/current/upcoming token distributions/ICO's) or something that hasn't been through the cycle of huge pump and dump yet.
