Title: Strange rx580 problem
Post by: Bravehash on April 03, 2021, 08:53:32 AM
Actually I've never seen this happened before since I have been mining crypto coins, I have a rx580 8gb vram that starts showing as rx580 3gb on nicehash, thought it was driver issue and I've uninstalled with DDU uninstaller but problem still occurs, now I can't mine Ethereum on Nicehash

The second strange thing is this problem affects Nicehash only, I can connect to binance pool and the pool detect 8gb vram and I also use GPU-Z which shows 8gb vram, anyone have this issue before?

what mining software did you use? did you try mining using another mining software? with rx580 you'll get about 30MH/s while mine ethereum  ;D

That sounds like a malware to me  8) try using a strong malware software and do full scan, a malicious script might have already find it's way to your PC already
