Your cue that alts season is not yet set seems right. I ain't sure anyone knows the exact time it will set in. It may even be several months after April. No one truly knows. However, from my observation of the rate of the Bitcoin dominance on the entire crypto industry is that it's dropping. I believe the time is almost right for alts season to set in. BTC Dominance has dropped to 55% from a range of 62% to 65% a few weeks ago. So, it's about time to watch altcoins breathe.

According to the indicators that track the altseason, we are already in the Altseason, but it is only the very beginning, we need to somehow warm up or something.

But I think that this alt season may start in mid-April.

Well, no one can be sure of what can happen especially in the cryptocurrency marketplace. However, there had been many alts which experience some rounds of bull runs lately, so I guess that maybe we are already in the initial stage of altcoin season. Calling it on April is something I would not do. Plus I always prefer steady growth and not some sporadic type which can just lead to some cyclic dumps later. Right now, there are alts that are taking the limelight and there are some that are still stagnant after experiencing some dramatic rise in the past months.

I guess no one knows when it will be. What people may do is only predicting that altseason will be mid april. Best thing to do for now most especially if you are new in crypto, better do some research about it and let yourself witness the changes of the value of alts every single day to be more confident enough on what your doing.

Some fake traders would scam people who are fund of asking, speculative/prediction questions, I think a mindset it better built by you, and crypto-currency has reality based on a good percentage of mindset, you can work with a trader, coach but your mindset gives you

I have stored a lot of altcoins.

In my opinion ethereum keeps breaking more ATH and that would be a very good thing for altcoin. The altcoin season already started since last year and we are still in the middle trend of altcoins
there will be a big increase that happens for altcoin too.

I have stored so many major altcoins and bet into the new coins.
i rarely pick the medium - lower tier of coin to be used as store of value or my investment.

It is either YES or NO.

That is only we have to expect and better not to expect more. We all are just speculating and we know that this not a hundred percent that really happens. But there is one thing I could suggest to you, Don't get fall in love with the hypes, they are just a trap. Make a choice of altcoin that will likely have a return, not just because you will think all altcoins have a chance to pump, that is meant impossible.

Alt season has already started a few months ago.
Ethereum and BNB are the center of investors for this altcoin season. There are altcoins too that are brought by hype and you may want to look at it but they're not ranked well on cmc.

In my opinion if we will see that again consider bitcoin is starting to gain another bullish momentum again and ethereum breaks another ATH and that could be a very big signal for us to see that another wave for altcoin will be happening again probably at the middle or end of this month.
Im still waiting another good news to come. We need more and more great news to make the fundamental of crypto become even stronger and altcoin will be going vert crazy soon.

This is a very subjective matter as it depends on the alt involved. Not all alts can follow the trend of the market. Also, be careful when it comes to new coins. A lot of them are just pump and dump coins. So if you want to seriously invest, you need to scrutinize the project itself. And no one will do it for you, so you need to do your own assessment for the coin. But if you consider old projects, I think, eth has high chance that will further increase their value this month. With the hard fork in few weeks, I believe, it will further boost its price value in the market.

It's not all of the old bag holders were finding the way to get out from the market. Some old bad holders who have been focusing all of their portfolios on the old coins are still getting stuck at the same place. I think that you can try to see the fact again.
It's not all of the bag holders were lucky enough. Some holders may not get profit even when the market is very bullish at this moment.

We are currently on Altcoin season and maybe we can see most of it on the coming months. I think everyone is so bullish with it especially when bitcoin is approaching 100k level most of the alts will surely ride the hype and will pump so crazy. Some alts already more than their average price and increase ten fold already still not considered it as bull run?

Everyone is hopeful there will be bullrun to just about any altcoin they hold even the ones that they got from airdrops. From what I noticed though was that the ones that were not performing well from the first 3 months of this year had suddenly begun to increment. TRX and EOS are two coins that have been stagnant for a while but began to rise just the first days of this month.

nobody knows about this. however, if you want to invest in and do research with questions like these, I don't think this is the right thing to do. besides, the current crypto world is quite extensive. we don't know which coins to pump and dump. Altseason potential is still quite large this month. however, we still don't know which coin has the most convincing potential. Therefore, I would rather choose a popular altcoin than choose one that doesn't have much information about its development this month.

It's alt season, if you want good profits and wants to make short-term trades grab the altcoins that are in the top 10 of CMC.
But in the last few days, the Tron price movement very promising, the TRX Bull flag is moving up after exiting a 3+ year downtrend

But always remember trading is not a one-day game, it requires time and patience.

actually, I believe we are already in altcoin season.
saw many altcoins take turns making a pump and reconnecting then making another pump when bitcoin has stabilized its price above.
Several pumps and dumps have occurred in March. and this April won't be much different. pump and dump will occur in some altcoin assets.
don't expect something that will happen will be the same as in 2017.

It's always a good sign that altcoin season is coming when bitcoin dominance start decreasing, it's finally here I believe since some altcoins have bring 10x for investors already, here are my own preparation for altcoin season

We cannot assure such things would happen nor we have any knowledge of what will gonna happen in the crypto industry the day after tomorrow let alone knowing if there will be any alt season in mid-April. All you need to do this time is make your own research that would gonna make you know in which coin or token you will need to invest your money. Good knowledge comes with good patience you only need to have perseverance in making your own research so that you will be able to land on a good project in a higher percentage.

Be careful with this pump, most of them after strong pumps will be a huge drop.

Bitcoin domination is falling by three reasons

- Price of bitcoin is falling.
- Price of altcoins are rising.
- More new altcoins, tokens are added to the market daily.

Altcoin seasons began in 2020 and is lasting. You are in the altcoin season.

The altcoin season will probably continue until the end of the 2nd quarter. mid-April what happens is a correction and stabilization again. so don't ever panic seeing a correction.
when bitcoin starts to stabilize again after the correction that has occurred, it will be a momentum for altcoins to start a new season again.

You can see from my post in the WO thread that we are in the altseason but this altseason may last for few weeks to 1-2 months depending upon the market conditions. I will still urge to be cautious at this stage of the altseason.

In my opinion, there is no way for anyone to predict when and if there will be an alt season, and I personally would not be hired with such a forecast.
But if you are collecting opinions about different altcoins that are worth investing in, I personally have an interest in: Decentraland (MANA), UMA (Universal Market Access) and Uniswap (UNI).

Are we still looking for the altseason? I think its already happening and if you see many altcoins already reached their new all time high just like ETH so I think we are still on the altseason this April and hopefully to last until the end of the year. Choose your bes altcoins now, because the market will continue to rise, huge pumps is coming with the good altcoins on this 2nd quarter of 2021, I'm confident with this one.

I don’t think there is an accurate timeline on when the altcoin season would begin. You won’t see it coming, just like the Bitcoin’s sudden rise from the mid-December 2020 until now. The market is very unpredictable these days and has high volatility, so I honestly think there is no accurate month for the “altcoin season” to begin. We just have to learn and manage our risks instead when we buy a specific coin or token.

I can't really say this is how the Altcoin season is going to play out tis year because most of these Altcoins have already done exceedingly well and some are even crying out for new money to enter them. there are a lot of good projects with their new update coming up this month and it could be a good driver for the price to keep going up. I am waiting for the Uniswap V3 launch if it is going to drive the price up again

From what I can see, the altcoin season is already here. You don't need to wait until mid-April. Around 6 months back, the altcoin market share was less than 25% (with Bitcoin at 70%+). Now Bitcoin market share has decreased to 56% (with a declining trend) and the altcoins are inching closer to 40%. But similar to the last altcoin rally in 2017, I have noticed that some of the shitcoins are also getting overhyped and they have attained laughable valuations.

I think the so-called Alt season was already in effect since the 1st quarter of 2021, As we notice since January most of the top-ranking altcoin is already gaining price increases, and in my own interpretation that was already the start of the so-called alt season As what we called it. And if the price increases will continue in April and beyond I believe this was only a continuation of the 1st quarter Altcoin price momentum.

But in terms of the potential altcoins, I advise that always choose those high-ranking altcoins to minimized some risk if you want just check in the Coinmarketcap to know what are those coins or tokens. Just always remember the saying "Invest only that you can afford to lose"

Anyone has their own choice but i still prefer to take the medium coin as the best choice because this coin has a very big potential to go to the moon just like the major coins. i should remind you that if those major coins were also starting from the bottom. The top coins will be giving you the safest place to take the profit but it will be less profitable compared with the potential coin.
Remember in crypto high risk high return is also applicable for the whole of crypto

I do not understand why people are comparing altcoin season of 2018 and today, why do they need something like that. You know what is the biggest reason I am guessing? I think there are tons of people who missed that chance and they are looking to get it back, that is what I think is going on here.

I believe they have seen coins go up, and they want to do the same thing and they ended up not really figuring out how to and the only hope they have left is the fact that another huge altcoin bubble would happen. I think altcoins increased a lot which means that we are going to not see anything substantial, we are going to see increases all together of course, that is what a bull run is, but we are not going to see a sudden charge of altcoin prices while bitcoin goes down, that is not going to happen and I believe we are just going to have to live with what we have.

April has always been a green month. I think we can see altcoins surge since there is still a lot of room to grow. I have a eye on some altcoins with good chance to grow.

For me, altseason is already running well. Didn't you notice several altcoins are rising good but I am not talking about shit coins. Mostly all the top 100 altcoins are rising. In the last one month time, I notice cheap coins with good potential can give good profit For example you can check Sc, Xvg, Btt, Kin, Babb, and Tron These are quite cheap and can give us a good return but its not investment advice. Please do diligence before investing.

I think the altcoin season has started when Bitcoin crossed the $ 20k mark last year. From that time until now we have seen a series of projects gaining value rapidly. In April this year, the Bitcoin Domain fell to the 60 mark, which means chances for all altcoins to rise again. We still have EOS, XTZ, TRX that haven't risen sharply yet. This is a bright spot that we may be looking at in the near future.

In fact, we even see more altcoins are in hype already, even those who are dead for many years. I'd quite say that this Altseason will keep running until in the 3rd quarter, that was long but who knows.
Till now, I'm still surprised by the looks of the market today. Bitcoin is in bullish since last year (4th quarter) and it still keeps the momentum with any seeing huge correction. Thus, if this trend will never change, then this might be the longest bullish season that I ever experience.

A lot of new users are converting their stimulus checks to cryptocurrency and large numbers of them are going for altcoins such as BNB, ADA and ETH. For me, this sounds similar to what happened in 2017. There was a lot of hype from the mainstream media and the altcoins got propped up much more than Bitcoin. And as a result of the inflow from the new users, the institutions have fallen behind. This is one of the reasons for the rising altcoin market share. But once the institutions are back, we will once again witness an increasing Bitcoin dominance.

some altcoins have reached the new ATH now. and when a lot of assets have already gotten ATH, we are actually already in the altcoin season rally.
it looks like we still have a chance to reach even higher peaks. but still, be careful with the corrections that can occur. because we are aware that the current market capacity is different because there are many valid investors from several agencies entering.

but that doesn't mean the correction won't happen any time soon. we will see how the market can survive in this 2nd quarter. If it is still good, then there is a big possibility that something will happen at the end of the year or the beginning of the 4th quarter of this year.

Yes, those coins can increase and start the rally. SC and TRX already increase and break temporary high price. So I guess that price can increase more after this. But we need to wait for more because the price can not increase instantly. After all, that will depend on how the bitcoin price will move later. If the altcoin season starts again, it can help both coins increase and who knows, those coins can break and make a new ATH.

What is of concern is that altcoin projects are being listed on exchanges without proper public information available. In particular, the situation in the Korean market is worrisome.

I hope you can be successful and become rich. but still don't be greedy. do a good plan for your investment. do not let you regret the assets that you have if market conditions do not match what you planned.

Altcoin season was already begun a months ago now dude, but your still not too late to buy any of them I guess.
Just like what I did now, I invested actually with the coins that is not popular like the other top coins in the market. But
even is like that, I gained anyhow of profit with this coin anyway.

At the current moment when the market is in a good rally, we will see almost all altcoins experiencing a pump too. but it is at great risk when we decide to just enter the rally. to be honest it would require some skill and experience in a good trade. otherwise, we can get caught up in the wrong asset investment.
fill our bags when dumps and corrections occur not when the pump occurs we just bought.

From many Big influencer are saying this bull run will be the longest one as compare to 2017 so i can see majority coin will pump .

I think DeFi will fly after the problem will solve and the problem is fees swaping  fees are too high that why many project not able to give there 100%

Correct me if I am wrong, Bitcoin dominance was the lowest in the last 3 years yesterday! Now is not the best time to buy altcoins for a long time. Therefore if you plan to play with the altcoin then do it for a short time.

You needed to check in each project that have good market movements, there are lots of potentially coin that may bring decent profits with this ongoing bull.

Knowing how to trace the right project difinitely helps you to successfully invest your money. With a lots of actions that's ongoing inside the market make sure to bank those quality project that you really trust and not just by listening to other people who speculate about their choosen investment.

Yes we can see good moves in altcoin as btc dominance is going down but for old project this is the time to make new ATH so that they can go big in up coming year .

Yes altseason are all running well Ill think the OP need is to have some research to those altcoins, Many of them are now rising there prices and if you want to invest from them make start already before its too late. Shitcoins are to many also I have them already and no value at all Im wasting my time of these kind of altcoins that in the end I can get nothing. I dont know about those altcoins you mention maybe I should research from them its only TRX that I have in my wallet.

It's not all of the old project can go up in the upcoming year. Even in this year there are lots of old projects are getting abandoned.
The old projects have no power to compete with the new project and that means if old project will not be able moving to the new ATH as soon as possible.

I think that btc dominance is still remain stable but ethereum and some major coins were only eating really small percentage of bitcoin dominance.
