What the article says falls within the scope of what is expected. The massive printing of the dollar has a direct relationship with the price. Furthermore, and this is not said in the article, companies are increasingly realizing that the best protection they have against currency devaluation is Bitcoin. It then goes on to say that April is usually a good month for Bitcoin, but that is a pattern of the past that need not remain so. While I quite like the April price prediction of $83k, I expect the price to be that or higher.

I can see that Bitcoin may realistically reach $100k by the end of this year. Bitcoin’s $60k+ price last month already exceeded my expectations. Large institutions continue to adopt Bitcoin by any means necessary, as they don’t wanna be left out. However, the tax deadline is this month, so I might expect a little pullback (correct me if I’m wrong though) before we can see new all-time high of Bitcoin and may push forward even further.

The US dollar had to get weaken because of the stimulus checks being issued. When you print a currency too much, its loses it value and people look to find alternative to transfer their wealth to sources which are safe. Bitcoin is the best way to store your wealth. This was expected when the US first announced about the stimulus money.

Well, I don't know how the strength of Bitcoin will be empowered with that news because I have observed that Bitcoin's dominance in the general market cap has dwindled against other cryptos to around 55% or so as against the over 65% it was in March. From experience, it all looks like Bitcoin will dip further from this point instead of going up.

We still at the early of our days and surely something will gonna happen soon as days pass in this month. we may get another new ATH with the result of the unstoppable good news coming to bitcoin. The real thing about this phenomenon is the crypto industry nowadays has been cleared from all doubt and not only Bitcoin is flourishing rather the other Altcoins are doing their own unbelievable success as well. April will be a good month as well base on the current situation of the market because it keeps the price hold to that high until now.

That's not exactly all of why April may be the best (a shitty March also usually has a lot to do with that historically, and it's a shame March actually wasn't shitter IMO!) but yeah, I really don't see the dollar changing things up any time soon. It's just incredible they're making more and more moves to bleed out. Biden's ambitious plans to get a super mega stimulus package up isn't going to help either. Strap in people!

  • Profit or loss of one trade or one investment is decided by entry and exit price.
  • Entry and exit are related to when you open and close your position
  • April can be Green for most (or assumes for all year) if you compare prices between first and last days but you can get serious losses if you shake your hand in a big volatile day in April.
• History does not need to repeat itself

The impact of the pandemic conditions, which forced the printing of dollars on a large scale, posed serious problems. We noticed, when stepping on April everyone started to panic and realized where to secure their assets. where else if not Bitcoin as the savior.

The best so far, but May could be better or June or July, etc. What I can say with certainty is that April is not going to be the best within the year. It might prove to be the best within the months that already passed in 2021 because we might be seeing $70,000 within April, but better months within the year are yet to come.

I still consider $100,000 to be very achievable within the year. In fact, if we are to be really bullish yet reasonable, the target within the year should be higher than that.

A weakening dollar will almost always be the desire of the US government because it allows all American exports to become much cheaper. China is definitely playing a game with their currency in the same way because cheaper exports (in comparison to other countries products) will spur more overseas buyers. This does bode well for Bitcoin over the much longer term, rather than just looking at a single month, because the inflation rate is likely to work the other way. Even with a maximum of 21 bitcoin ever produced, every day bitcoin is being "lost" from circulation due to all the tiny amounts abandoned in wallets for a whole range of reasons - owners dying without a will, insignificant amounts getting discarded, computers breaking and causing lost wallets and many others.

you are not wrong but what i am mostly looking forward to is the $60k target to be properly broken and the large scale FOMO starts and we see a new much higher ATH be set just like what we had back in early 2017.

what has been happening to USD is more like a long term effect on bitcoin that will slowly show itself both in the economy and then is reflected on bitcoin price also.

It wiil not be right in my view to set April to be a month for bitcoin gaining.


Somehow I think the dollar and the btc have a different movement that one affect the other. $US is going down and bitcoin is going if you observe that.

Government wouldn't allow this to happen since USD is the foundation of several currencies around the world. Though it sounded weakened, but it keeps on regulating itself against cryptocurrency. Without the power of USD, we can't move forward and experience more demand coming from investors. Bitcoin momentum came from different supports, like trx, eth, doge and other promising coins who also have their different trading pairs.

Because of the wrong policy of the United States of America, many countries such as Russia, China and others tend to get rid of the dollarization and turn to other currencies. This will certainly weaken the dollar in addition to the wrong economic policy by printing more dollars.
If according to the article, we can see Bitcoin at a new historical peak at 83K$, given the average bitcoin rise in April over the past ten years, we hope that this analysis will be the next scenario for Bitcoin.

Even known as April Fools month. I dont think it can prank bitcoin's movement. Seeing btc going towards 100k is not an impossible event now. We just really need to break those level that blocking the way for it to happen.

USD is cracking at the moment but it doesn't mean we should force everyone to convert to Bitcoin. It's still a speculative asset commodity and hence risky. People should know their risk level for this or else they could end up crying.

@tranthidung is right if we based on the previous years which April is the best positive price for Bitcoin.
But what I also think what if Bitcoin is already in advance, what supposed to happen for the month of April was already happened last month (March), we saw a positive 30% and this April could be something a price correction, just my 2 cents.

There is no linear relationship between the dollar index and the bitcoin price, and if there was a relationship it would be indirect.
The price of bitcoin is not linked to a trading pair with US index not like gold with US index or stocks with US Treasury bonds.

April has been a historically good month for bitcoin price which leads us to be optimistic and we need to remember that what determines the price is supply/demand, not optimism.

Each of the past 4 months was the best month yet.

April is the best month ever for Bitcoin and crypto industry. It's historically proved and this things happens all the time, usually with a significant price change and sell on the higher to make profit.

The good news for bitcoin keeps coming and 2021 is the best year for bitcoin and other cryptos and I think the good news for bitcoin will continue, April will be the start which I think will lead to a new ATH that looks like it will continue.
Apart from the OP news there is a lot of good news regarding the predicted increase in Bitcoin prices this April and will continue until the end of the year to reach the highest price.
even if there is a decline, it is unlikely that it will fall significantly and will slowly rise again.

I have no idea about the strategy these heavy institutional investors are having and with an average price of over $59k is not the best investment option and no matter how big these firms are trying to invest the market will follow a path on its own and these firms might burn their confidence once the market goes down. I do understand that MicroStrategy is a big player and holding billions of dollars worth of coins but the risk they are taking is also huge if the average price of their recent investment is $59k.

Additionally, if I want to find best months, I would like to exclude extreme outliers in early years (2009 - 2013, perhaps) and take a look at means and standard deviations of the rest years till 2021. In early years, price was affected by many factors that now become very minor news for the market.

% of price change for one month depends on open and close prices in that month. Your opinion can be true if serious corrections in March (end days of Marches) have long lasting effects till first day of Aprils. Your opinion will be wrong if corrections happen in middle of Marches and price already rally well, therefore in first days of Aprils, price is not at bottom.

As I said, it is a raw view for the market, but for personal balance sheet, it depends on your entry/ exit prices and when you open/ finish your position.

interesting information, April or in Q2 is indeed the month for bitcoin, yes for me that is very true,
because according to history in the past few years Bitcoin has always increased, so this is the right time to buy cryptocurrency,
I am sure it can achieved maximum profit in this Q2.

It is true that April has a lot of positive news coming, so I am optimistic that the Bitcoin price in April will reach the new ATH price. Moreover, if you
look at the data on the movement of Bitcoin every April, it usually does increase, from April 2011 to April 2020, only in the years 2014-2015

^ I don’t think the weakening of US dollars will affect BTC negatively. In fact, it does make Bitcoin get the advantage.
The middle of the month is mostly the moment where BTC will probably decrease as per the previous year's reports. However, by the end of the years are actually the best days. We will never know what is gonna happen and we never expected the BTC to reach $60k in this situation though. It was nearly impossible but it did. Despite the pandemic happening, it did grow. So what’s new?

There is talks about government printing either 2 trillion dollars or even as high as 10 trillion dollars for infrastructure and that will be given to private companies to make it work. Government could use it themselves as well if they wanted to but that would make it a lot harder, so they will instead pay companies to do it and that is going to cost more (a lot more) and at least it will be done a lot faster and a better job will be done.

This is why I think it is obvious that dollar will get less and less valuable, there has been a lot of money printed already because of corona virus and now there will be more because of the infrastructure changes, and god knows what else will happen which will weaken the dollar. Bitcoin is looking like a better and better deal to invest into and that is why I am feeling a lot more confident about my investment.

Its a bit of bias info but I wouldnt rely on it exclusively to blindly trade, something to consider in the background to whatever is going on.    I had a bearish bias for 2020 but I should have changed my mind when they massively inflated the money supply because that threw petrol on the fire in terms of the rate of acceleration to BTC blockchain price action.


We remain rather bullish after some test of the sharp move up.   Its found the 2 day average as a low and weekly average is below that but still its reversed a larger amount which suggests we do need to test these prices further.

If the fiat is weakening then the price of BTCitcoin will move up and i am not sure whether that is what happening here but the price already tried to breach $60k but did not sustain it and we might see another push in the coming weeks.

There are multiple factors at stake here, many countries are locking down again and it will create another issue and the stress it is creating to the economy might pump money again in the cryptocurrency market and i always wonder whether the price would rally this much if it was a normal situation.

Despite all these, institutions are getting involve and different merchants are integrating BTC as a mode of payment which further exposes the number one and most reliable cryptocurrency to millions of new users. Much is expected in this month of April and probably throughout this year.

It is not because effects of inflation (fiat losing its value) on bitcoin is only visible in the long run not in the short term fluctuations in the market. Also it will only be part of the reason for the rise, for example when bitcoin goes up 100%, 5% of it could be because of fiat inflation. Depending on the fiat and how soon the big inflation hits us the percentage can change.

Bitcoin don't flow article for rising rapidly. Sometimes it doesn't follow any rules. Holders are helping bitcoin to grow it's price most. We can predict only but it is really tough what will happen next with the price of crypto currency.

Indeed. However, this is just is all speculation because no one totally knows what exactly gonna happen in the future. Bitcoin might be showing a positive performance this April but it could change in the next month. That is why for now they are considering April as the best month for Bitcoin considering this is the time where it breaks the resistance and reaches its new ATH. Besides, there a lot of positive is still coming and the fact that we just only the half of the month yet it set a new ATH, April does really may be the best month.

quite the opposite. that is the definition of inflation and the nature of all fiat currencies specially those that are being printed by a lot and fast.
when the fiat loses its value, everything else of valu from a cup of coffee to a house will go up against the tanking fiat. bitcoin is not an exception to this rule.

Predicting the bitcoin market is not an easy task, if it was so easy then everyone would get the signal in advance so that everyone could make a quick profit. The price of Bitcoin increases as demand increases. You may have noticed how much the demand for Bitcoin has increased recently and now big companies are investing in Bitcoin.

As a result, it is having an effect on the market price. It seems to me that in the coming days more and more big companies will invest in Bitcoin and there will be a possibility of increasing the market price.

I will tack on to the month since this is so far the best month in the history of BTC  and you called it.

You may have your point on that anyway because bitcoin looked more of bear at the beginning of the month but at this time selling above the mark of $60k. This is a reason for the April move, I'm expecting that this is how price may rally till the end of the month.

Weak dollars is always a good thing for all alternate assets and bitcoin is falling into such category hence we can expect continuation of bull run even in this April month as well. But, bitcoin is already attractive enough among institutional fund managers hence when adding weak dollar to the current scenario then why not we expect prices to double within this April month itself.

I'm not over expecting but I'm just speculating what are possible when multiple factors are influencing for the positive growth for bitcoin markets.

So 2 more days making your title pretty much perfect up to this point.

Well there are still a lot of months coming. So there is a great posibility that there will be more great months than april because bitcoin will maybe continue rising this year and it will maybe reach 100k$. But for me 63k$ is good price and high enough it is not also bad to call april is a good month for bitcoin.

Even before entering 2021 when prices started to recover I expected April 2021 to be crypto season, but it was even more so. Arriving in April in fact, the price of bitcoin and several other cryptos has even hit its new ATH for the umpteenth time and I have bought and sold several times in the near future and it is something big. So with achievements like this the crypto season or not, what is certain is that crypto movements and trends have been getting crazy so far.

Looking at it from an opportunity point of view, Bitcoin is in a decline that is very attractive to buy, I think that those who want to acquire Bitcoin, it is an ideal time to buy, at least I agree with the opinion of Jeff Ross:

Few see the good opportunities that are presented in the market, some out of fear do not buy because they believe that the same pattern of 2018 will be repeated that when they bought the price fell more than half, for the moment the circumstances are different, that scenario despite that it is not impossible is very low probability that it will occur.
