Btc is hovering between $56k to $58k, it needs some more good news to cross this $60 mark.
After PayPal, which next business giant is going to endorse Bitcoin?
What should we expect in coming days that can push btc to more adoption and expedite it's March towards $1 million?

We shouldn't expect any news, really.
The big investors are happy to be able to keep buying big amounts of Bitcoin without making the price explode.

And the weak hands and so-called traders are selling, which is shown by the amounts of coins constantly leaving the exchanges.


If you look at the same post/thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5329096.msg56733227#msg56733227), people tell that miners may not even selling (much) any longer.

So all we could expect would be to see more strong hands and traders getting real and holding for a short while, allowing the price grow as it should.
However, all this is speculation (and may be more appropriate to be moved to Speculation board).

Positive news will definitely come, but we don't need to rush things up. Maybe we will hear another big news joining the fray, but we need to wait. Bitcoin is still the best asset to hedge businesses balance sheet. But they need to study first the risk and I think that's what happening behind. Let's take advantage of this accumulation phase to buy bitcoin.

Nobody knows that except for people who are behind companies like Tesla and Paypal, but I think it would be amazing to see Ebay or Amazon accepting Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is currently in 8th place with market cap for all assets, just about to flip Silver and coming for Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Apple and Gold.

I just saw the latest Bloomberg Crypto Outlook report  (https://assets.bbhub.io/promo/sites/12/1060725_Crypto-Apr2021Outlook.pdf?utm_source=Email&utm_campaign=Indices&utm_medium=Newsletter&utm_content=CryptoOutlook-Apr2021&tactic=475077&link=button-bottom) from April 6 that is very positive and predicts bright near future for Bitcoin in 2021 with $400K prediction!
Report is also showing all superior properties bitcoin has compared to gold, that Bitcoin to Gold ratio is rising like overall Bitcoin adoption.
If this is not a big news then I don't know what is and all we need in current market conditions is just a small spark to light a big move.

It's like someone has a crystal ball from which they can see the future, so they can tell you who's next. Take those names that are not yet on the crypto list and choose the one that seems most likely to you -> Amazon, Netflix, Microsoft and maybe even Berkshire Hathaway ::)

Maybe it's not just about selling, but about people increasingly beginning to realize the importance of the fact that it's not smart to store such a valuable asset online, and there are more and more of them who are starting to be their own bank after all. We also know that VISA is working on an integration with Bitcoin, for example. And another example is Tesla which created a new option for the buyers as paying with Bitcoin. And I expect the big companies like these to continue accepting Bitcoin and help the adoption reach a better level.

By a smart move in not storing a valuable asset online which necessitates the selling, I suppose you mean like them moving there coins from exchanges which is a custodial wallet to non custodial wallets like electrum and bitcoin core which makes them totally in control of their crypto affairs otherwise, it won't be such a smart move selling after all.

Nicely said of a Mule not being able to learn or adapt to new tricks but, we can only hope that it doesn't apply in this regard and with new companies coming in and buying huge it could only be an invite for more and more companies to come into the market. So, it would be a wise option to stop selling and hodl for those who can.

The Bitcoin price doesn't need "good news" in order to grow.We need more buyers,both institutional and small buyers.I think that the buyers will increase their purchases after a price correction.Nobody wants to buy expensive BTC.That's why many buyers will be waiting for a correction,before buying more BTC.
I don't know what big corporation will endorse BTC next.I don't have a crystal ball or insider information.
I'm not sure that Paypal will ever truly adopt Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general.

If they want to adopt the use of the bitcoin good news I think the bitcoin too much-getting stand by with the market price of 56k and if I'm not mistaken this price range already within a month there's a lot of attempts to increase the price more than 59k but still not getting success to try to keep watch on the market is there's any signal or sign for another trend. Don't expect someone gives another hype for the bitcoin like Elon musk did.

Well if Paypal started introducing their crypto system globally, we may see some new investors, probably small companies or so that would partner with paypal to create a system that lets users transact with crypto (but not really, since it's paypal). As for other big companies, well we'd see them one day if they ever wanted to join in.

60k was already passed back then, hardly doubt it'd pose an issue to do it again. The market might just be waiting for more people to join or for adoption to increase. Well as long as Bitcoin is developing, I hardly doubt that it'd stop growing, both in price and adoption imo.

Exactly. As long as there are more buyers and a big amount of investment into Bitcoin, it's for sure that the price will continue to increase. But of course, I'd like to see more big companies start adding Bitcoin as a payment method. It speeds up the adoption process.

We don't have any Internal information or insider trading of any company which can announce Bitcoin support in near future.Many big companies like Tesla,Paypal, Microsoft accepting Bitcoin payments we can accept other giants following their path to compete in the market.Some of the companies that can have affect on btc prices are Amazon,Google,Apple and they have huge funds with them that they can easily push the prices above $100k combined if they made investment in Bitcoin.Many fast food, liquor brands, E-commerce giants are endorsing Bitcoin with growing popularity so we could accept them next in the chain.But at this time we can't say what will happen next.So it's better to stay relaxed and enjoy the profits in the long run.

Since nobody so it coming for Paypal, Tesla and all the big companies who have invested so far, I will say there is no need to be bothered about the next big companies but look at the brighter side for Bitcoin.

Big investors are making good profit from btc. I think we will get much good news after decrease the btc price. Some investors just wait for a big dip. And if any big investor invest now in btc, then btc can easily cross $60k. Mostly if paypal invest in btc.

We will reach 60 thousand again without any big news. It's natural for the price to keep retesting levels and when it retests highs it has to go back to test lows. That's the way it is and you shouldn't be concerned about it.

If you're worried about your investment you either have to let go and focus on something else or be like those weak hands and sell.

I think there will be an ETF announced soon but we don’t need a US ETF for the price to go high. A supply shock is coming & with that comes price increase. Bitcoin is going to over 100k this year.

Actually, market doesn't need any kind of news to pump again as adoption of btc is still going on. Just look into those people who said that bitcoin is a scam or it'll go to zero, now they're offering bitcoin services towards others and it's enough, IMO. As long as paypal, mastercard/visa is on it, bitcoin will get more adoption from those community who're using their services. BTW, bitcoin is currently having a bearish divergence and none knows if it'll happen or not. But bitcoin might take a huge correction before taking bullish rally if that bearish divergence is happened.

Well right now bitcoin is circling around 57-58k, but it once already passed 60k though, 61k to be exact, although it's decreasing again now. I don't really know whether any news will be beneficial, it might be though for a short term, but well maybe we should expect more business adapting bitcoin like paypal, tesla etc.
However, i guess it might be really hard to reach 1 million, at least it will need long time, more years in the future, unless bitcoin experienced such a huge pump, but it's dangerous as well, since it might get dumped at any time, so better to rise slowly but surely.

We don't know, every single possible that a new financial institution will adopt it very soon. But, we've got a lot of them already and I think the market is already sustainable with what we have, it only has to keep going.

You expect the normal scene, and if your goal is to see it go $1M then, there's no other thing that you need to worry but to worry about yourself if you can hold any longer.

I don't think PayPal will invest in BTC. They will get it by cutting fee from its customer holdings. Everytime you will deposit oe withdraw or every time you check out and pay to merchant with Bitcoin, PayPal will deduct the fee.
This way they will soon start getting million of BTC.

I think we will see more celebrities endorsing bitcoin. Paris Hilton was the biggest one recently and she got a lot of attention for it. Some celebrities are looking to remain relevant and will jump on the bandwagon but also there is some who are genuinely interested and have made investments in bitcoin.

Sometimes this organic behavior that bitcoin has with certain bands, is not bad, in fact it seems that the growth in price of these last three months was the product only of the institutional ones, but perhaps it is very "romantic" to remember it but this started With two individuals and continued to grow with common individuals, that can and should be the great news that new common users start taking bitcoin as an investment asset.

If the resistance is that resilient then we can definitely expect to reach at least 100k by the end of this year. We dont know on what comes next and i agree that it does need some another positive catalyst that will make the price break that 60k barrier.
Im not minding much about those $100k to $1M per coin because we know that it is not really that realistic for it to happen even up into our lifetime
but well everything could really happen and that will vary or depend on the adoption rate.Lets just hope for some positive sentiment that would
just pop out into the market and make out some effect but we shouldnt cross out that negative news are always there.

I really don't like JPMorgan's approach towards crypto but I believe they will change their stance very soon. Remember, when he said last 2017 that bitcoin was a fraud. I don't know what his reactions will be if he is reading now all his comments towards bitcoin and crypto.

And right now, more and more big companies are going into crypto market and buying their own crypto stash. Maybe, this is one of the reasons why above 50k level is being sustained.

Hope it will be true, when the giant company want to invest in bitcoin it gonna make the price of btc rise so easyly with that news. In my opinion bitcoin will reach a new ATH in this next few weeks.

There is no need to rush to expect the price of Bitcoin to rise, I believe the performance of Bitcoin is very good this year. It will make some large

Lol $1 million is still a long way to go, that’s going to be taking a very long time before we get to that rate. As for now we should be looking forward to getting pass the $60,000 rate and crossing the price to another ATH price. I have seen people analysts that are predicting the rate that we will be reaching next would be $100,000 and some have predicted $300,000.

The one of $300,000 is still hard for me to believe, maybe when we get to that of $100,000 soon enough, I will start believing that we will reach the next rate. We will eventually get to that high price but the thing is the time it is going to be taking before we reach that high price.

The $1 millions milestone is still a long journey although not an impossible one, we might have to experience additional 2+ more bullish cycle for that price to be achieved. With the current price movement, it might even take lesser timeframe for that to be achieved but don't think it'll be happening in this bullrun although if it does (which is very unlikely) it would still be great.

No, it does not need more good news. It just needs to push by itself to whatever price we need to breach. It might take a bit of whales to make that happen.
Good news comes only after the price of Bitcoin breaches something, and same goes to when it plummets to price.

No one khows correct information about this but now many traders are hope that bitcoin will again break past record.

It is really hard to keep that price $60k. Some traders are also watching the trend and sell immediately when the price shoots up, so it drops again.
Only we need to give some hope that there is new and big companies will promote Bitcoin. Miners are showing some help to encourage traders to hold but we can't stop these weak hands to prematurely sell their Bitcoins, (and for some reasons).

I think it is better to assume that the price will hold still even in that high and after that, we will see some good news. Because most of the companies that wanted to join the revolution are patiently waiting if the price won't budge at this rate and after that is their turn to enter then the price will be raised once more. The good thing about this year's market is we don't have to worry about scam news or exchange hacks event that will drove the market to its edge. because today, every kind of negativity about bitcoins has been sorted out and all we can expect from now on are good news.

Unfortunately there's no way we could actually know what would be the next biggest news coming in. These news would definitely pop up or surprise us without warning, even if it's just rumors. If you're a long-term thinker of Bitcoin, don't ever think of any news coming out soon about some large or big institution going in on Bitcoin. It will come for sure but we don't know when, so you need to be patient.

When it comes to sentiment if this would be a good catalyst then yes it is but lets see if it would be significant that it could raise up the price in the market.

I think this reaction is being seen in the market, at least the price of Bitcoin is taking the direction of the Bullish state that it was leading. And not only this, but altcoins are showing signs of a lot of recovery, it is seeing a good omen overall for both Bitcoin and altcoins.

Elon Musk is a billionaire why would he want to buy bitcoin, then announce Tesla bought some and then sell for double the price. That Dave Portnoy guy is always going to be negative when it comes to crypto because he is bad at investing in it.

I think when the stock market started to boom back in May 2020, people kept telling him to invest in crypto. He didn't listen until maybe 6 months later when he bought BTC and Chainlink at the top and sold for a huge 20% loss or so. He called it a scam and haven't looked back.

Then I think he bought back again when we hit $65K or so and most likely he is underwater again.

Well, I don't know what big news will be ahead, but right now, I really want to see bitcoin prices over $ 60k again. I know that currently there is a price correction due to the very high pump yesterday. currently, the price is quite good, and there is a possibility that there will be another increase. however, I still hope there will be good news for the cryptocurrency world.

The buyers and the sellers are not the same people (OK, the day traders are an exception from this rule). So if there will be less sellers it doesn't mean that there will be less buyers. You made up a relation that doesn't exist.
If the number of weak hands decreases then:
* if the number of buyers is at least the same, the price will grow
* if the number of buyers decrease then the price won't decrease (because people won't rush to sell)

This is (based on) how market works, after all...

Theoretically if there will be less sellers then prices will jump up high.
If you notice gaps in market, that means there is a strong trend is going on and people do cancel their orders.

If there is no seller in markets then buyers will go cray and will be ready to buy at whatever price strike on their mind which may convince someone and then may decide to sell on those crazy prices.

All today's buyers are tomorrow's sellers if there will be a convincing price available. So, theoretically all people may not stop selling.

I think also from Asia we have big companies that if they suddenly embrace Bitcoin in a big way (the same way that Tesla did) then we will see a lot of craziness happen.

I bet you,,, if Jack Ma and Alibaba suddenly announces even 10% of their portfolio goes into BTC, it will create a huge FOMO among Chinese investors like never seen before.

There are so many adoption happening in Asia which really gives a good exposure to people who doesn't know about it and provably we can see more from it as many investors now are putting their trust to bitcoins at this moment. Hopefully we cannot see more dumps like crazy fast slide so that those businessman will flip their decision to embrace bitcoin unto them. But if the giants you mention will announce bitcoin to be accepted on their platform provably we can see the price surge up more faster.

Currently we cannot predict where the market will move because in recent days Fomo and Fud have been hitting bitcoin, so it's better for now we have to wait for the right time and enter when the market is really in good shape. if we are too reckless right now, it certainly does not rule out the possibility that we can be trapped in losses later.

In this bull season there are lots of rumors of bad news and good news, yes a lot, this is common when bulls arrive because many people want to buy at the base price, and whales are playing with it all, this April bitcoin has dumped hasn't reached 10 % so we have to be careful in trading, when talking about good news, you can see a lot of good news about bitcoin on the internet, mate. The current hype is about Binance Nfts and Facebook buying bitcoins when Tesla sells them.

That too much, let's be optimistic here and what I am hoping to see for the future target was at $70k and up. It's only a bubble price speculations, which I think difficult to achieve and yet we're still struggling to reach $100k  for the main time. Maybe if everything went good in the future, I think strong foundation will be established someday and btc will set the world to adopt digital currency.

Like I said before,,, adoption is big in Asia but it might take another big big company and I guess in China now there is no bigger name and personality than Jack Ma in the tech and commercial world. He has the biggest days of shopping especially during singles day. Imagine if he starts accepting BTC and puts even promos/discount just for it. It will be huge FOMO.

Good news is on the way as people start accepting bitcoin and showed their interest towards bitcoin it will definitely effect the market and bitcoin will again reach its all time high price. Currently trading at 54k$ and will cross 60k$ in 2-3 days.

When there will be no significant events are happening within bitcoin ecosystem, bitcoin itself is having the capability of creating triggers for moving ahead. People do refer it like FOMO. Just because of technical alone, I have seen bitcoin is moving forward and people start reacting to catch cheaper prices which will again helping bitcoin to move further. I mean there is no big news is always needed. Basics of bitcoins are more than enough to drive markets positive.

Just like when PayPal announce that they are supporting this system, lots of positive movements take place and now we see how known
businesses and personalities influenced the market.

With this move from JPMorgan we'll be expecting impacts in coming weeks or months, those clients will bring good positive movements

Knowing that most of the banks investors are institutional types which are willing to take the long ride.

I think that should happen everywhere in the world but the finances allows Asians and Africans to be a lot more in front. I am sort of Asian myself (my nation is in Asia but not what you consider when people say Asia) and I see people very interested in crypto because when you turn $100 into $200 that is a good amount of money in my nation, and in crypto it is easy to do that, well at least in the bull run. Sure there are a lot of people who lose money as well, I have seen people who commit suicide because they did 100x leverage with all of their life savings and that is bad, but I have seen more people who made money than people who lost money.

Long story short we are in a situation where if you are American and make 60k+ dollars you do not care about risky investments, you are already doing alright, whereas for people like me this could be difference between working versus early retirement.

Consolidation this time will take longer time imo. Seeing $60k again in May and maybe +$65k in the summer ;)
I find consolidation above $50k most of the time ($48-49k for a while to be accurate) as interesting and let us more confident.

And now, I lose the confidence that Bitcoin will drop so hard this time. I was thinking that when it started to decline in the past days but somehow, it rallies back and nearly touches $60k again.

So a Japanese company started to dab their hands on bitcoin and purchase new amount as hedge to their balance sheet. The market didn't feel it right away, but this is for the long term investments so we will have to wait and see. They bought it as $58k though, and at the current price, they are still in the negative. Nevertheless they say that they are here for the long term like every other big institutions and companies as well.

Why people do keep complaining? Why not just cherish out these bullish movements for you to make money without the need on waiting for some dips? No doubt that lots had been waiting for the dip

but it seems the market cant really be taken down easily because if its been corrected then it do eventually make out some recovery afterwards which it isnt really that surprising.

Its really hard to determine on we are already starting neither a bullish or bearish run until we do experience it to ourselves.We would really expecting some news since adoption

Although this is a shame, because having Facebook as an ally due to the number of people it handles in its data would be something very spectacular, however I think that at the least expected moment Facebook will have to surrender to the charms of Bitcoin.

what good news can do , attract people to invest ? but they dont have the ability to invest in thier own . good news or not , the price could still increase .

nobody knows unless if your part of a big company and your involve in thier plans but one thing is sure and that is paypal wont be the last big company that enters bitcoin .

Yeah, right now bitcoin is trading below $54k levels. But, how it will be a great start? I am little confused to understand what exactly you are referring to.

As per my technical things, bitcoin was struggling to break resistance around $57k levels and when it was failing to break resistance then we can easily expect it to coming down to immediate support zone which is around $52k levels. This is unusual market movement and it is showing market is expecting some trigger to happen so that it may break resistance levels easily.

Now that BTC is at $40k, we need some next good news to give it a push. In crypto, one good news doesn't give that much push that one bad news give pull to.
We hope we don't hear any negative news as that can bring down BTC at $30k.
Although it can give opportunity to many new people to enter BTC market at low price, it will also help whales accumulate more.

We just have to wait but you are right that we need good news with all this panic incurred by Elon, China, Binance investigation and general public panic selling, I do think we need to be given some break but I don't think that we don't have any right to ask for it. If the prices go down then so be it, we have nothing to worry if it goes down because of negativity, the market will go back up as long as there are demands.
