Title: A tribute to Prince Philip. (Rest in Peace)
Post by: Rruchi man on April 09, 2021, 12:28:50 PM
Prince Philip, Queen Elizabeth II's husband, has died aged 99, as a tribute to him, I have put together some interesting things everyone should know about his life.

- A tribe on the Pacific Ocean island of Tanna worships him as a god.
- He was born in Greece and renounced his Greek royal title in 1947 following his service in the royal navy.
- Prince Philip enjoys painting landscapes in oils.
- Prince Philip was the first member of the Royal family to be involved in a television programmes.
- Prince Philip had an early version of a mobile telephone, made by Pye Telecommunications of Cambridge, fitted to his car in 1953.
- He had an early version of a computer in the 1980's designed by apricot.
- Prince Philip was very environmental conscious and friendly, he acquired an electric vehicle produced by Bedford in the 1960s.

I liked Prince Philip, and I am sorry he has left us.
It has been reported that he received  a Covid vaccination earlier this year. One wonders if he would still be with us if he had avoided the vaccine.

I was actually wondering if I should start a tribute, so thank you for doing so.  My own twitter tribute can be found via this link: https://twitter.com/Timelord2067/status/1380489265637781504

I'm deeply saddened to hear of the news of Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh has died age 99 - Consort of HRH Queen Elizabeth the second for 69 years, having been married for five years at the time of Elizabeth's ascension.

You can see that if he had not received the vaccine, he would have lived another 99 years, lol.

I am not going to pay tribute to him because I am against the monarchy. It is an antiquated institution of privilege based on inheritance or marriage and not on merit. Although I have nothing against him personally, so may he rest in peace.

very sad to hear this news...
he is one of the oldest princes on earth and is almost 100 years old. this is certainly sad news for the British royal family and also those who idolize it. *may he be calm in the afterlife

RIP Prince Philip, a very great man. He was educated all around Europe and knows all the different countries. In his last few public pictures he looked very old. I wish all the best for the Royal Family. Is Prince Harry coming back to UK now? Let's hope the Queen will get 120 years old.

C'mon, do we need to look for conspiracy theories everywhere? He passed away being 99 years old, what is way above average. With vaccines or without it, people can't live forever.
And I think it's stupid to relate his death with vaccine. He got it few months ago, not recently. So, following such logic I can say that all people who got covid vaccine, one day they will die. That's fact.

Is Prince Harry coming back to UK now?
I doubt about it. Meghan is pregnant and long flight from USA wouldn't be good for her. I doubt that Harry will travel alone.

Such is life, no one is Born  here to live till the resurrection of his ancestors and  life is inevitable,  so no one can predict life perfectly, my condolence to the family and the Queen for a pain that can never be recover and forget, death is unforgettable history and story so we believe everybody will die one day.

No, I didn't wonder that. The answer seems fairly obvious. Not only his age, but he has been in poor health for a few years now. Highly unlikely that a safe, effective and life-saving vaccine is the reason.

Just waiting for the racist UK press to somehow pin this on Meghan Markle now...

Meghan is pregnant and long flight from USA wouldn't be good for her.

True. And yet... what are the odds for a tabloid headline along the lines of: Callous Meghan shuns funeral in heartless snub!

Condolences to the royal family, I think that Price Philip lived a great life and dying from a natural cause is a great thing.

The prince have lived a long road, may he rest in peace.
