AFAIk, good exchange sites will never ask for the listing fees just like these

https://en.bithumb.com/customer_support/info_listed
http://mxcexchange.mikecrm.com/2wazbAq

and many more. The question is how reliable your project to be listed on a good exchange site.

If you wanna get started maybe some exchange sites like probit, cointiger, hoo could become the best choices for the listing purpose.
The garbage exchange sites will always ask you for some money for the listing fees.

Try to apply on a good exchange site if you are thinking your project was reliable.

You can try with MXC exchange (https://www.mxc.com/)

Listing application form: http://mxcexchange.mikecrm.com/2wazbAq
Listing Consultation:listing@mxc.com

I notice that many new coins or tokens appear on MXC before they appear on Binance and they have very good price at Binance. MXC can be called as a transitional exchange for new assets before they go to Binance.

Be careful for listing on some random exchanges since you may lost your money even you got listed to an exchange but the exchange is a trash. And additional, some exchanges got some requirements beside the *FEE* they are asking. So much better too to work with the project side before deciding to be listed on an exchange.

That means your are using BSC Right? Maybe you can continue your development and use that money to partnering with others platform or doing others marketing things so your token will get chance to get listed Binance without any fee (Maybe), But beside that maybe you can try some CEX like Bithumb, Hotbit, Kucoin. Good exchange good for start with good volume & community,

Okex if you want as soon as possible and for your project to be recognized with some of the best and legit investors you can find in the crypto industry. But if you are not rushing to be listed, then Binance is the best exchange and the best exchanges of all time if you ask me. The only problem is, you will need to wait for months before getting your project get listed on their platform and there's a lot of projects that already pending to be listed. You can also try the other user's suggestions, it seems their lists are good too.

Budget $40k for listing only can get you in a small centralised exchanger. If your project is on binance smart chain, maybe you should list it at pancakeswap and $40 k can be use for marketing campaign. Top cex listing could coat you arround $1million. Binance will also ask certain ammount of money even tho your project is good enough.

DEX is already good for starter IMO you can just start build your project popularity, community and reputation from there and when your coin got popular you can apply for listing in binance.  however most of the new projects I've seen usually got listed first in some exchange that's not very popular like MXC, okex, bithumb (popularity is alternative) then build their project reputation before trying to apply listnig into a new exchange more specifically the most popular ones like binance.
Just remember not to become too desperate and trying to list your coin in some shady exchange, you'll got your project reputation ruined instead of getting opened up to new userbase and that will be a hindrance in long term.

You want to try out on centralized exchange the go for application on Binance, Kucoin, Huobi and Okex. These exchanges are good market with considerable volumes. I know that these markets are hard to get in but if you have a good platform and nice concept  then no problem on listing it could be free actually if you have great volume already on pancakeswap. It's easy for new projects to get in.

Well, I see you advertise the Wasteinfonet Project, are you part of the project team ???  And you are looking for the first exchange ???  Several suggestions have been provided and I am very impressed with the project you are pursuing as well as its development.  Good when you have Dex as Pancake, Try to find out XT.Com, coinsuper, bitcoin.com are also quite good for the inception stage.

Pancakeswap is quite good as an AMM on BSC and try to do the samething with bakeryswap with some extra promotion/marketing events like farming on bakeryswap. BTW, MXC, Hoo, Bitforex is quite good to list as a centralized exchange and don't go for any of those exchanges which are using bot trading a lot (Though every exchanges use bot trading to maintain their rankings).

If it is a BSC token, why not follow the steps in the listing instructions in the Binance Dex

https://docs.binance.org/list_instruction.html

There are benefits that you can derive getting listed in Binance, better liquidity, good exposure, and good reputation. Because that budget can be used for other important development stuffs already. Spending a lot for listing is not very practical in my opinion.

Listing fees can be negotiated depending on how good the prospects for your project are, the exchange will also think about it, in the longterm it will provide many benefits for both.

Our Budget is around 40,000 $ ...
Well, $40k is possible to find the 1st exchange as expected. If you need helps with the listing, come to me. ;)

I do agree if OP must have tried to send his application for bithumb, hotbit or something else but about binance and you can't sure even when OP was doing so many development progress and his coin can be listed on binance.
As the largest exchange site in the crypto market and binance has a very difficult requirements and it has a team to audit the project.
Even a good project need at least a half of the year to be able listed on binance.

I think dex will be better, listing is cheaper and also swap platforms line pancakeswap, just add liquidity to get volume I believe or give a certain percentage of your token out to those who are ready to deposit BTC/Token for liquidity, I've seen few new projects doing this and it works

Title: Re: Best Exchange for a first Listing

I think okex is the answer. They support any new projects and listed the tokens as long as they think your project is legit enough and pass their criteria. In some cases, it's free or cheap. Just try to fill listing proposal there on their website.

Listing on binance, okex, kucoin is more than 40,000$ I believe, if not many new projects will find their way to top exchanges easily, my own suggestion is to find mid rate exchanges like probit, HBTC, coinEX, bilaxy, hoo, bithumb, these exchanges listing should more affordable than top exchanges

Title: Re: Best Exchange for a first Listing

Maybe you only need to have one exchange to start and you can try with Binance as the best exchange so far. You do not need many exchanges if you do not have a very big budget because if you use Binance, I think that will be enough for you to see your coin will take much attention from the traders. If you see your token has good progress in Binance and the price is good enough to increase or stable, you can start to list your token in the other exchange to grow and expand to the other exchanges.

Gate.io ? They do not require much money. Only voting is needed among members so as to approve the token.

Have you try bakery swap? It is also the same as pancakeswap and run via BSCchain. BSC chain will soon overcome ethereum and become the cheaper blockchain. Swapping in ethereum blockchain cause more than $50 and not all investors afford to do so

Title: Re: Best Exchange for a first Listing

For listing prices, you can usually negotiate with exchanges and for the first step I recommend that you register on an exchange that selects projects by vote and from there you can also find out how big a community you have
One more thing, don't use brokers for listings. make sure to directly contact the email on the official website, there have been many cases of losing money because of using broker

Dex listing is the simplest, start from here and work more on your project to have good exposure, from there you can start looking into Centralized exchanges like BkeX or Bitmart, it all depends on how good your project is though, the more demanding it is the better

Even Binance, won't ask you for a fee if you've got a good coin which will make them a lot of money.  :P

AFAIK, they're considered the most expensive exchanges to list a token.

Indeed they are. Who paid for Bitcoin listing?  ;D

I once saw before an event to top the votes for a free listing in their exchange.
It was years ago so I forgot who won the votes.
Maybe OP could look for those kind of promotions which could accumulate them more supporters instead of paying more.
Not everything could be bought by money. Some supporters will look at the project first before profit. Hit two birds with one stone.

binance will be a great choice, since its one of the most popular exchange, it can easily attract investors, more often coins that are listed to this exchange have reached the next level, you should only have a good marketing team, and a good project, for sure it will be more successful, good luck in your application.

Please don't list your token on Uniswap. Because Uniswap is no longer suitable for small traders. You can list your token on BitForex exchange. BitForex is a very good exchange. There is no fake trade of tokens here. Trading here is also very simple. BitForex support team is very active and helpful.

With the budget OP have or the plan stated amount, it's by far to enlist the token to this well known exchange.

They needed to have more money before they can apply, if they are serious about the project taking the risk and providing that listing fees will
give them a much higher chance of success.

Knowing how binance do the magic once they've offered new listing, it attracts investors right away.

Good Luck to OP and to the team behind this project.

I would be looking to "list" on another DEX but even better choose a DEX aggregator that makes it wortwhile to list by accessing different ones. I think 1inch is the top now because you get seen by their users from Binance and from ETH.

Spaceport from PlasmaFinance also looks very good, they are integrating all the big DEXs including 1inch.

Bro this is a dream come true for small projects even though a lot of potential projects looking for Binance listing & launchpad  even they applied for long time ago but still can not reached in this exchange think about how difficult it is. Their listing fee definitely massive how small projects will afford. Now a few DEX are very reliable in BSC platform like as pancakeswap.

Yeah, there's also a feature from those exchanges that they allow community voting. It's a good way for a coin that has a good and large community but not yet listed to those exchanges that have it.
They can use that feature by that exchange and get an instant listing if their community will help them to vote for their coin.

This is a very small budget, look better statistics on decentralized exchanges and add your token to other blockchains
https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/dex/
It is very difficult to give advice if you do not know what kind of project you have. If you have one of the many Defi pharming projects, then it's probably best to stay on decentralized exchanges.

you have a large enough budget. why don't you glance at Binance which supports BSC and it's now a favorite of many parties. I am sure with your token being there it will be easy for people to find and trade. besides that it can be matched by choosing several other exchanges such as kucoin, OKex, Huobi and others.

If your projects want immediate interest, many investors must list on popular exchanges, such as Binance, Coinbase, Bittrex and KuCoin. But I don't
know the requirements to be listed on popular exchanges, it seems like it costs a lot to be listed on popular exchanges. Or for the first time listing,
I can suggest listing on Gate.io which has a pretty good score on the coinmarketcap site. And I believe getting listed on Gate.io will not be as difficult
as listing on popular exchanges.

binance is a very good entry point. you are already hitting the top exchange. if the OP believes their project is strong, they can always tap their opportunities in binance. afaik, they are not charging listing fee because they only ask for donation and goes fully to charitable organisations. but if they are aiming to be in a DEX, binance has DEX as well and you can just check their requirements on their site. dont look for third party that will do that for you, because you may end up being screwed and lost your funds for listing. communicate directly to the team

OP go for hotbit and this exchange site is good enough. I'm also actively using hotbit and the listing fees quite cheap compared with another exchange site. It's better to avoid garbage exchange site like p2pb2b, coinsbit, probit and many more.
Your coin was a new coin. it's better to pick the cheap-low tier exchange site.

I guess hotbit should be the best choice. The listing price should be around 10k - 30k

I know I already replied here yesterday but why are people all still recommending centralized exchanges for first listing?

1. CEX has good volume but listing costs too much.
2. List at a bad CEX with low listing and you get bad reputation.

Why not just IDO on your own and market there and build it up yourself,,, much better right?

Surely it is. Yes, they won't ask for a fee if they find your project as a top tier but about the donation? that's the first time that I've heard about it.
Most of the exchanges are asking for a fee for each project that wants to be with them but hearing such, I don't think that how it goes.

I like to recommend Binance but I think your budget is too low for Binance.

Maybe you can try kucoin, not sure with the rate but according to what I read here.
https://www.quora.com/How-many-listing-fees-does-the-KuCoin-exchange-take

Quote
1 For small exchanges, the listing fee can be as low as 1 to 5 BTC ($6,000 to $30,000), which is affordable for most blockchain projects.
2 If you want to list your digitalc currency on medium-sized exchange, there is a substantial jump in listing fees. The prices that second-tier exchanges charge range from 10 to 50 BTC ($60,000 to $300,000).
3 The top tier exchanges with the largest trading volumes will charge between $1 to $2.5 million for a token listing.

I'm not sure with the current price though, maybe you can inquire directly yourself and there could be some requirement that are only divulge to the proejct that inquires, just try kucoin if the fee is not that high, maybe you can add some, at least you get listed in a decent site.

Unfortunately good exchanges demand very high listing fee as you said your budget is $40000 which is very low to pay listing fee for a good and reliable exchange and besides this listing on a cheap exchange will be unworthy and harmful step for your project. Currently your tokens are tradable on pancakeswap right? So If you're confident with your project then you must focus on marketing may be a good marketing strategy can be beneficial for you and you could able to pay listing fee for a good exchange.

Spend that money on marketing and place your tokens on Pancake or Uniswap. It is best to set aside about $ 10k to add to the liquidity pool to create a caption value for the project's tokens. Do not try to put your project on a centralized exchange because fees are expensive and can be ineffective.

From my opinion, MXC is good for first listing. I have seen some good projects list their coins on mxc first. Biki also good i think. And if you can list on okex that will best.
