Title: How to predict a coin is going to be listed in one of the top exchanges?
Post by: lichig on April 11, 2021, 08:00:09 AM
Hey there guys,

I saw a few users predicting $NKN and $ENJ were going to be listed on CoinBase a few days before the official Coinbase announcement.

How can be that predictable without internal information?

Thanks!

It's not a prediction, Coinbase really announced that they're going to list those coins. You should follow all of their social media channels, newsletter and blog site.

That's the tweet that they'll be adding those coins yesterday.

That is not a prediction but news that is raised by that altcoins developer, you can get such news on their website, their telegram channel or also from an exchange that intends to add that coin.
You can also use this website to get the latest news from crypto https://coinmarketcal.com/en/.

Most exchanges have their blogs where the discuss about new features, offers and also new coin to be listed. You only need to follow those blogs if you want to know what new coin will get listed. They never predicted the listing they just were following those blogs and got the news from their.

follow their social media and see to what extent the coin shows what their target market is. you only need to see and update the latest news that he posts. and also their team you must follow. then you will get the information.

When you are up to date on news about your project of interest you will be informed on where and when it will be listed on an exchange, except for binance that don't disclose information of their listening of some coins

Speculating - considering
Predicting - forecast, foretell
Almost the same but with different meanings.
Because of the sudden rise of NFT and that includes Enjin there had been speculation, consideration to listing it to Coinbase.
Don't make it difficult to explain, it's just a simple discussion with the subject. Therefore, it ends with what looks like a prediction in your dictionary.

It was already announced and if you prefer to buy a coin or trade it in a particular exchange then always search through CMC or coingecko to see the exchange and you can follow them through their various social media handles. This will even assist you because you see what prospective investors think of the project in their chat community group which will inform you better instead of just buying without profane knowledge about it, if it is just pumping or real out for business plus their blockchain technology.

Try to join some groups on telegram, discord an other platforms that do share some announcements. Some listings doesn't just predicted it's being shared by the project itself or by the exchange that will list it.

Have you followed up a project before, on telegram, Twitter and other social media pages before? If you normally do that, then you will be aware when a project is going to be listed on an exchange. No coin had ever listed on an exchange without announcing such news on their social media pages, that's how it works.

except for binance that don't disclose information of their listening of some coins
Binance never hide their listing news, most of the time, projects that conducts launchpad normally gets listed.

I totally agree with all said here. Following social media of the exchanges is the simplest way to get an early information of the new token listings. That would make us cut the time to research for potential projects that may be listed in those major exchanges.

Join their official telegram group, mostly they will announce when and where exchanges to be listed but can't assure that it will take a hit to top exchanges. A new coin is really hard to have a spot on them as they are setting some requirements before they become enlisted.
But if you are talking about how to predict a certain coin listed to exchanges? That can't be answered.

Anyway, if you have a plan to invest in a project/coin, better to know first where it is listed. Just to be sure that you can sell your coin in times you want to sell. Otherwise, you will wait until the developers will announce.

There is no way of predicting it not unless you directly know someone working for that crypto exchange or part of the team core of a project you won't really have any way of knowing if their cryptocurrencies will be listed in an exchange of course what I have said also doesn't have any guarantee of happening as things can turn around while the duration of the launch. I don't even see any advantage in this I don't see any benefit of you knowing in advance where the cryptocurrency will be listed.

There are so many ways to know a coin will be listed on a top exchange without knowing anyone among the project team.
1) The white paper can tell some certain exchange a new coin will be listed though we have a situation where some project team lied about the white paper.
2) Community demand.
3) How successful the project is during the initial offering.

I think it's too global if you have to get to know the people who work there, because of who you are, that's what they will say. so it will not produce an effective response if first approaching workers on a project of that size.
and in my opinion the simplest key is as said in the previous post, namely by following every social media channel. because an active project will always provide good news for the crypto holders.

Late for what? I don't see any reason that it's too late. And besides, they're the ones that will always decide which coins to add. They have to keep it up with more coins just as the other big exchanges that are existing today. And those users that you have seen predicted those coins will be added Coinbase just took the information from those channels of Coinbase.

It cannot be done, some exchanges take the time to ask their customers what coin they want to see being traded on their platform and if the coin wins a poll then there is a chance that coin will be added next, however there are many requirements for a coin to be traded in an exchange especially if it is one that has a good reputation, after all the exchanges do not want to put any coin into their platform and then see the developers of the coin scamming their customers.

So probably the only reliable indicator that we have to know if whether or not a coin is going to be added to an exchange is if the coin and the developers are any good, if they are not then don't waste your time, if they are then they could eventually make their way to an exchange but this could take years.

That is not very late IMO. The profit you earn from follow the news is quite high. You also need to have high connection with fast notification pop-up, too.

If there is no way to follow news or backdoor information, why should we have to waste our time on them? Trading with FOMO never give good result. Because of being FOMO, you can also be affected with FUD. Learn to trade, read news, analyze whitepaper, etc are things you can do to make a decision whether a coin is worth to invest or not. Believe me or not, experience and wisdom are indicators for you to journey around the cryptocurrency world while collection money.

I don't really know how these news breaks out before they officially announced but most of the times, users with technical knowledge are able to see the when the code implementation for the addition of new cryptos and then go off to start a rumor. I've seen this play a couple of times before even with Binance API too. So except you're a geeky users with a lot of free time on your hands, there's no sure fire way to know what's going to be listed next, or when. You can bank on some of those speculations but don't go all in until it's officially confirmed.

You have to know the project budget and have to match the listing costs of each of the top exchanges if you want to speculate on that.

After all, why predict people's thoughts? There are a lot of exchange options to consider, and most of the teams simply lie answering every question about getting listed on the top exchanges. In the past I followed a lot of startup projects and over time began to not believe the team's announcement unless it was also officially said by the related exchanges that this coin would be listed on their platform.

You don't need to predict it, just clarification.

Not a prediction but an actual announcement for those coin listing. Most exchange platforms would really make out some announcement if tending to list out a new coin
which some people do really make it as a signal for them to buy even more because every exchange listing then that does mean that it will increase its price.
Knowing Coinbase is one of the oldest and known platform even though this one is heavily centralized but still a good thing for those projects to be listed internally.

These are not internal leaks, if you follow their social media pages and chat box you will understand what are the coins they are planning to list in any exchanges other way that there is no way someone could predict which coins will be listed, either you have information from the coin developers or from the exchange and it is not that secretive as you think :P.

The only way for you to get updated is that you should turn on the notifications for that specific exchange's social media accounts. You should check them manually, unless there's an app where you can always be notified when a new coin or token gets listed in that specific exchange. Just saying.

I notice that such coins, which should be listed on the exchange, begin to increase in price a few days before the official announcement of the exchange. This means that investors start buying the coin after receiving insider information about its listing. Therefore, after the official announcement of the exchange, it is too late to buy such coins, as they have increased in price.

from their chat group or social media channels, being active in searching information would guide

you to the right path, there's no specal app or something alike but pure dedication seeking for good

info about any projec that might be list to ane particular exchange.

The listing of any token coming from projects into an exchange is not being predicted because it is being announced by the project developer team themselves to the public at the very first thing that they are promoting their token. It does belong into the roadmap of the progress on how they are planning to execute the release of their token. The developers are always into updating the public about the potential partnership or listing they have been conducting with their token to be listed into the desired or target exchange they want their token to belong with. That is not certainly a prediction when the information has been given at the first place.

Yeah, if you follow up on the coin project, you can get information through the telegram group or the official account of the coin. Actually there is no need to predict the coin will be listed on the top exchanges, from the official account or the official group you can find out and ask the people or admins there, but usually they list it and pin it on important messages. I think without going through the internal information it will be very difficult to predict. Easier, look at how the project progresses, the number of participants does not necessarily mean that the coin will be listed on the top exchange. It would be better if you follow the campaigns of the coin project that you think are good, that will make it easy for you to get information. Don't be easy to believe if the information you get is not from someone you can trust, it needs certainty or evidence to make the information reliable. As I said, it's better to get the information from the official. However, even from the official side, usually it will not happen as said by the party. Instead of predicting the list of coins on the top exchanges, it is better if you trade coins that are certain and already exist on the top exchanges. That will be safer, than the prediction is wrong and it makes you suffer a loss.

Honestly I have been on crypto for god knows how many years now, one of the earliest investors considering we still have so many new investors today, first I checked what it was could be about 8 years ago. And I have never "figured out" a method to be there early and be the first. You have to basically be checking that constantly live without even going to bathroom.

Yesterday a coin had a problem and dropped from 0.8 cents to 0.3 cents and many people knew that wasn't the real price, it was just a technical problem on exchange and they bought it and it was over 0.7 right away, for those type of stuff you have to be checking the exchange 7/24 without looking at it constantly. Same goes for news, you have to refresh the twitter or read their telegram constantly. Those are unrealistic, who catches these?

Well, I think some people who are there by luck see it and do it and that is good enough to increase the price anyway.

1. Choose a coin
2. Find contacts of developers and staff
3. Email them every day.
