I want to know what I should do if I copy someone else's ID and post it on my own ID. What can I do to correct the mistake?

Are you talking about an altcoin bounty program you've tried to join using someone else's info or something else?

If it's the former (first), can you not just delete the post and if necessary DM the manager?

If you can't dm because of your low rank, then just simply post in the same bounty thread, while clearly explaining to the manager your mistake.

That should do the job. Not sure if you just want to be totally sure, or if you're stressing this out too much. Relax! :P

The post may help but it may also clog the bounty thread but most bounty manager usually has a special telegram group where bounty participants can report every subject matter about the bounty and I don't see any posted by the bounty manager which is quite unprofessional.

You can contact the bounty manager through it for the correction.

Nobody can change the spreadsheet except the manager. Looking at the posting history of the account and group, this manager is the type who likes to ignore participant complaints. At least you've written a post about your problem and pointed it out in the bounty group just in case for the future. If you want to leave the campaign then stop working and don't make a report on that project so you won't be counted.

The bounty manager does have an email displayed on his profile, so you can always send him your petition there, despite not being able to send him  DM on bitcointalk (he may have the ignore DM from Newbies activated, despite many of the posters on the thread being Newbies).

As stated above, if you do not want to keep on performing tasks for the campaign (as you later state), you can simply stop doing them: you’ll have nothing to report and thus nothing to be processed by the campaign manager.

Bounty threads get infested with report spam quickly and it's possible the campaign manager will never see or react to your post. Why didn't you mention in the bounty thread that you made a mistake when submitting your info and copied the userID of another forum member? You only said that you made a mistake and want to take a break. The campaign managed doesn't know you need anything changed. When and if you decide to come back from your break, you have to contact the manager a second time to have him correct the mistake in the spreadsheet.

This is the first time I've seen such an honest bounty hunter. How did you hear about such programs? Usually, many find out from their friends or from YouTube channels. And even there they do not write or say that such reward programs can be so strict that they will punish someone if a mistake was made. Relax, buddy, no one is forcing anyone to participate here. It is not at all necessary to be accountable for every wrong step. Moreover, I think that this will be another scam, and the bounty manager will not even notice your absence.
