The month of April has been existing in the ethereum market as the coin begin the month with a physiological pushing to $2000 the price peaked at $2,150 and has since set a new all-time high of $2,190 on April 10th.
The is unconnected with the much-expected Berlin hard fork scheduled to activate at a block height of 12,244,000.
The Berlin hard fork is scheduled to happen on 15-04-21.

What are your thoughts on this?

I do agree Ethereum is one project o watch for now but this coming hard fork this month won't have that much effect on the price has compared to the one coming in June or July can't recall the exact month when fee burning will be implemented. For me what is keeping ethereum price down is the high transaction fees, if this is reduced significantly the price would pick up

The main net will come very soon but that will depend on the community decision especially miners whether they wanna update their client to the new client that support berlin main net or not.
A few days remaining until berlin will come.

Eth is certainly a project to watch, with the coming upgrades.
Cardano is also with the coming smart contracts.

The Berlin hard fork has already been successfully implemented, while the ethereum block chain has branched out and, as I understand it, we have a new coin that miners can use as the old ethereum, since the miner services will not be needed in the updated ethereum.

definitely expected considering people have been waiting for the HF and we get more and more close to london hardfork that implements EIP1559 to solve the gas problem once and for all.
But just wait until london hardfork happens, the price of ETH gonna be increasing like crazy since that means functionality of ETH isn't get crippled like it is right now and that means people who migrates to BSC gonna come back again to ETH
including the defis and dapps, just matter of time, i wonder whats gonna happen to BNB in july though because the hardfork will indirectly affects the coin due to BSC " not really needed" or maybe they gonna stay the same.

I'm not sure about ADA, ADA doesn't seems a promising project to work with the smartcontract. We didn't even need a lot of smartcontract platforms.
Yesterday ethereum was facing a problem with ethereum berlin hardfork and that makes the network was stopping for a while.

People are betting a lot on the new ethereum upgrade but I should remind you that dude if ethereum is not go high like what already expected by people in the past.

We are waiting for nothing, actually.
We had already surpassed April 15 but it looks like there are no changes happening in the market. The fees are still high, the price remains high, I was expecting such a dropout but there is none. Or maybe I was wrong?

It is just like ETH won't ever have a dropping scenario if Bitcoins remain like this. I was thinking now that ETH remains to be bullish until the end of the 2nd quarter. It may be the upcoming ETH2.0 upgrade will give some changes to the fees but I was not expecting too much for this.

Hard fork doesn't resolve the fees issues, because its not on the main network of ETH and beside, we've already seen the new peak of ETH at $2,500.00 this is already a good progress after all. Let's continue to hope that the fess issues will be resolve on the up coming updates with ETH 2.0, we're still far from finishing the updates, more to go.

You're absolutely right I was expecting huge gas fees reduction after Berlin upgrade but nothing happened transaction fees are still high on ethereum network seems like we will have to wait more to expect lower transaction fees in ethereum network this is very unfortunate especially for those people who can't afford higher transaction fees hopefully circumstances will be in control in near future.

This Berlin hardfork expected to bring network gas fee lower but it may take time for sure and this is not a major fork as well, this is to reduce the attack from spamming the network by excluding the old ethereum clients.
London hardfork is much expected because it is going to take huge step towards the fee by setting the fee by the network itself.

This month has been absolutely great for Ethereum so far. The price has reached a new ATH ($2,547). After that, we saw a correction in the price around 200 dollars. I assume so many people have sold their ETHs after seeing this level.

Market charts still shows that Ethereum can reach 2600$ and if it breaks it ATH level there is possibility that it will reach 2800 - 3000 soon, I'm still holding my ETH hopefully it reach this level before selling off, it's time to move to Vechain and Cardano

The big deal will happen two times, and those are the real times we will make money from the ethereum investments. I am currently holding some ethereum even though I think there are other coins that I can make more money these days. However one thing I am certain about is that ethereum has a very bright future.

What I think could happen is the fact that this July eip1559 will make sure that ethereum gas fee drops, if we can get there it will be awesome and we will be basically having under 5 dollar transactions again, this will cause people to use more eth, and they will invest more into defi projects based on ethereum instead of bsc like they do right now.

Secondly eth 2.0 is on the way, it might be one year away or two years away or even maybe three years away, BUT when that happens, when we reach to a level where it is full on proof of stake? That is going to be insane.

Ethereum peaked at $2,500 and that's almost double than the last ATH that it did on 2018.

The fees are still high and I've seen estimated around $3,000 worth of ETH just for the fees. As for the announcement of ETH about the exact date, they've said that the date may change due to variation of the block.
