When do you think bear market will come and why do you think so?

You should watch cointelegraph or coindesk and i do believe you will be feeling doubt to speculate when the bearish trend will be coming again.

More firms from US are trying to buy more and more asic mining to compete with chinese miners. Some US banks consider adding bitcoin service as well.

That means crypto is very bullish and it supported by a very strong fundamental.

We may see another bearish trend next year. Bitcoin is on the way to reach 100k

Not going to happen this year, we have a very high momentum this year, people expect This year to be a milestone and a banner year in terms of adoption and price, nobody's talking about the bubble and bear trend, but we cannot stop people from asking a question about the bear trend because of the 2017 scenario people want to know and ask if it is still good to buy and no bear trend in sight

I personally think this time around there won't be any bearish market. The market is just too overflowed with the institutional investors capitals that are very bullish when it comes to crypto and not some whales' money that could inflict panic selling everytime the whales trying to make a play. The problem with the volatile market in the past is because everyone want to cash out to make profit, same thing to whales that eventually gonna dump the market when they sees fit. But now there's innovation like Defi, NFT (although deemed overrated) and many more I'd be surprised if the market gonna be the same as in 2017.

I'm not sure if it might be June of July, or maybe it's the end of the year, but I'm still more inclined to the possibility of year-end. One thing about cryptocurrencies however, as more and more companies are accepting payments in this currency. And with that same government adoption and also a lot of great things to push the value of this market up. But right now we are still in an uptrend and BTC is showing signs of correction, so just be optimistic and smiling at the profits for the time being. :)

Market becomes bearish with bearish or negative news. Yesterday the price of bitcoin rose from 60K USD to 62K USD and today it is 64K USD and rising. May be some big movers in the market currently due to positive news or reasons still unknown but defenitely not going bearish.

Comparing the current market levels, I would bearish would happen at the end of cycle but the duration of the cycle is not determined right away since the Musk pump and the institutional money are making the prices soar up.

A downtrend is unlikely in the next few days but you might see a correction happen towards this weekend, which has been the case in the past few years. Overall I think if bitcoin was to drop in price it would be back to 50k USD levels. Altcoins though will bleed a lot more when the drop, because they have no intrinsic value of their own and depend on bitcoin's rise.

It should be when bitcoin will be getting the bearish trend. Crypto is following bitcoin movement. None knows about when that will be happening but it's quite difficult for bitcoin to get the bearish trend right now.
Coinbase was giving FOMO caused by more and more eyes seeing bitcoin and crypto as opportunity to be used as a long term investment.
What you need just watch the movement of bitcoin and once the small correction will come and it may bring crypto to the bearish trend.
This is just my 2cents based on my experience with the bearish trend.

The adoption of crypto this year is one of a kind, it means crypto is now full nearer to mass adoption, this is why I believe that bitcoin will keep surging through out 2021, the demand is just too great and I don't see any bear trap coming it's way any time sooner

If we look at the bitcoin chart it still doesn't show any weakness. We see a few price drops but  still recovering and surpassing the previous all time high. This is a sign that the bull power is strong and it would take some time. This bull run  is differrent from the previous bull run that happened on 2017.

Right now I am sure the masses are afraid of buying crypto because it has sky rocketed so fast. When the time comes and these people decide to say "enough waiting, I want to buy!", they will unload their bags on them. The fact that crypto keeps climbing tells me one thing, people are not buying as much as they want them to buy and that's why it keeps going higher.

These days people buy crypto based on the fundamental. If crypto especially bitcoin didn't have a strong fundamental and they will never try to buy more and more crypto.
More global companies joining in the crypto.

I can't deny the fact that bitcoin may climb even higher and it will be surpassing 70k rate. The correction is not even happening but doge coin is getting pumped again.
This could be a signal of crypto will be facing the next bullish trend soon.

bearish trend will never happen this year

The way market is behaving right now? it's going to take a long time for that. We just achieve a new all-time high which means people are still accumulating and there's no sign of stopping. And with coinbase going public with the IPO, we might not see the bear this year.

Well, i think just like everyone else has said here, this year will be just bulls bulls bulls, no bear in sight, I also believe that bitcoin is on its way to $100,000 dollars, and major cryptos will follow the trend too, many big companies investing hundreds of millions of dollars in the crypto market now makes the market super bullish, I think this is the year many have been waiting for cus theres still more to come, but personally, am also wishing the bear comes so enable me buy some good coins cheap cus right now, i dont have any in my portfolio anymore, I sold everything too early and this is my regret now, coins I hold now aren't even listed on exchanges yet and I don't know when this is gonna happen.
Bear please come and bring everything down even if it's for 1 hour, I wanna buy.  ;D ;D >:(

I think the bear market will come at the end of 2021 but it won't be a sudden crash but a gradual, long-haul bear. It's been one year since the last bear. But the last bear market had different characteristics, including volatility, a sharp decline and the inability to find a bottom. This time it will be different.
The bear market will come with turmoil in the market. Its probably imminent, but the exact timing of it is unknown.

Maybe you do not need to confuse when the bear market comes because we are still in a bullish market so we do not know when it will over. But I guess the bullish trend will continue until the end of this year since bitcoin can still increase and lead the altcoin to follow to increase. Personally, I do not want to see the bear market will come soon after we wait for almost 3 years ago and the bitcoin price needed to lift the price to the next new ATH after the halving moment last year.

It is better to enjoy this moment by making a lot of money from many altcoins before this time is over and leave you without making any money. But in this bullish trend, we will see the bear trend that will happen after the price reaches the high peak price.

So long as there are more buyers than sellers these prices levels are to be sustained. Problem is that who's entering the market now, apart from institutional investors which are thinking medium to long term, are those FOMOers average Joes who might start the next big dump after the tree will be shaken hard.

I have always iterated that, 2020/2021 will definitely be the year prediction of bitcoin price will likely not to work unlike the previous years, stop thinking that anyone can help predict the next step this bitcoin market price will go, but nothing stop anyone of speculation. This year more buyers such as institutions from developed countries have joined the moving train and this even will make the price more difficult to predict.

The bear are likely to resurface when these institutional investors stop to buy, and do you think this will happen soon?, no, so, the bear market has been on suspension for the now till further notice from these investors. Coinbase $Coin still moving bitcoin price and many pending news still coming soon which will be more force-able towards mass adoption.

I understand that you are too curious to book profits for your crypto holdings so that you will be benefiting the maximum. But unfortunately, no one could exactly predict when will the bull run end. Because, there are multiple factors are influencing it. If you are asking about bitcoins then there are possibility for that to be happening by end of this year but for altcoins, we cannot exactly say any timeframe about that.

I have seen many altcoins to be having strong bull run even after bitcoin turned bearish. But, that is not the case for most altcoins. So, just follow bitcoin's trend and then decide according to that; this way you could be at least 90% accurate on predicting the end of bull markets.

Identifying a bear market is difficult right now as Bitcoin is on a strong rally. The market is currently in an uptrend and shows no signs of stopping, the entry of large investors and the low Bitcoin count on exchanges has strengthened our confidence. Investing is constantly pouring money into the market, and withdrawing capital isn't that easy. To end a bear market, it is necessary to keep an eye on the profit-taking of large hedge funds. Only when Bitcoin stops rising and at the same time bad news regarding cryptocurrency happens.

When the Pandemic End (Most Population Already vaccinated) Or DeFi Hype is over, From my opinion the market will going to stagnant and will enter the bearish trend but we can't predict when this bear will happens, Mutated Corona is appears and some new Concept on the Crypto market like NFT Is rising so we can't see the bear market sooner, It's about time, Let's wait and see what will happens.

I don't think there will be a bear market in 2021，The market this year is very good, various investment institutions buy BTC，Ordinary people will accept btc more and more.

Already, there are talks of a "Bitcoin winter". But that will occur only after BTC manages to hit $300,000 per coin level, as per the experts. Bobby Lee (former CEO of BTCC) was the first to come up with this "Bitcoin winter" theory, but I don't agree with him 100%. A lot of people compare what happened in the past and claim that the same will occur in the future as well. We had similar "Bitcoin Winter" events in 2014/15 and 2018, but I don't think that it will repeat in 2022. Now the circumstances have changed, especially with the entry of institutions.

Like everyone else in here i don't know when the bear market will come but i have an opinion of course.
I don't necessarily think that a bear market is inevitable. I mean of course there will be phases where the market will move sideways or even will go down, but i don't think we will see a real bloody bear market with losses of 50% or more of the big projects in the near future. Just because it was like that after the 2017/2018 bullrun it doesn't mean it has to be like that again now. Of course it is possible, but it is definitely not an automatic inescapable process.
I think it is fairly possible that we will continue to have a nice and healthy growing market in the following weeks and months  :).

I don't suppose to think that but we can't stop the market if we really going that way. But knowing when? We can't tell that, only we have are just speculations but these are not the things we believe in.
The bear season will come actually, but we can't simply think that was the same from the previous bearish season. I was seeing the possibility that there us is no such huge drops to happen again but just a simple market corrections.

We really never know when a bear market will come, it can come when people are most surprised.
With the current market situation I think the bear market will come very late, maybe in late 2021 or early 2022 it will appear.

Mate, As we can see how the market performed from the last quarter of 2020 until now, We can tell that it wasn't cooling down and I can say that it is far from over, you know why because the market is continuously performed strongly that's why no one can tell when the market will cool off. But definitely, it will, but not this time because the market growth is visible and far from over.

Depends on which chart you're looking at I guess. A lot of bears would say the momentum on each high seems to be getting weaker (nothing compared to Elon pump or Biden stimulus pump that is).

And if we remember this has happened since December, we're 5 months into the bull already. Some say this is the halfway point and we're not going to enjoy it much longer.

From how even Bitcoin pushed through 60k, we might not just yet, but I won't be saying that like it is 100%. We still have a lot of price correction getting lately, just like how Bitcoin went back a bit below 50k when it was 57k.

I really thought that in the month of January will happen the bear market because I thought the history will repeat just like 2018 but nothings happen, the bitcoin price was still increasing. Well it is difficult to predict when will the bear market will come but I'm guessing if the market will go bullish again then I expect the bear market will occur after the prices of cryptos hits their peak.

Actually, it is hard to tell that most especially now that the market performes well. I could not say totally that there is no bear market in the future because there is always a time that it would happen just like life that may encounter ups and down, but surely if that time will come, it can recovered easily because we know how good it's foundation is. It's hard to think that would happen because we can totally see it's growth from the day it was started until now.

No one can accurately predict when the market will drop or encounter some correction

but with what we are witnessing the bull is much stronger than the bear.

Best to keep your guard up, not to careless but also not to greed, chances still possible

instead of thinking when the bear will come, take time to assess and position yourself.

It's hard to say, everyone expected that the correction would come at the level of 25,000, then at 30,000 and then at 40,000? and now, in the end, we have Bitcoin at 50,000 and everyone is waiting for a long correction and the arrival of a bull market. On the other hand, we have the fact that many funds bought bitcoin exactly at the level of 50,000, most likely this is not for nothing. Therefore, I doubt that we will see a correction anytime soon, although it would seem logical. Apparently the market has changed and now everything is somewhat different.

history does not always keep repeating, :D Now the price of bitcoin has been able to reach ath and if you look at the current market conditions in a fairly positive trend, of course it does not rule out bitcoin will be able to re-create the latest record for the highest price this year, in my opinion it is very unlikely if the price of bitcoin will experience a correction and fall past the price of $ 55K the reason is because now many countries and companies are starting to adopt bitcoin so that the impact on bitcoin demand is getting bigger and to be honest I can't wait to wait for the halving day to happen again and we can see the price of bitcoin later that will be very expensive.

The pandemic was mentioned and I think that is a very important factor! As long as the pandemic goes on and governments pump fiat money into the economy, the advantages of Bitcoin become obvious and evident.

Having a deflationary store of value is worth much more than gold. Also, capital mobility - people can leave their countries with Bitcoin while they can't do that with other money. Bitcoin is extremely important given the current global circumstances!

We must be realistic here a bear market is going to eventually come, that is inevitable since it is just part of the markets, this is not because bitcoin has any sort of flaw or anything like that. it is simply the nature of every single market that has ever existed, with that out of the way it is obvious that no one really knows when that is going to happen and I agree with you that institutional investors are going to be a force to be reckoned with.

What I think is going to happen is that the bear market is not going to be as severe as the ones that we have experimented during the previous bull markets, so instead of a crash of more than 70% maybe were going to see a crash of 40% or at worst 50%, this is still a lot but it is way less than what we experimented at the end of 2017.

Either it's going to happen this year or not bear market always comes unexpectedly and many will be trapped just like those who buy bitcoin @20k in 2017, to avoid this always take profit even if it's too big enough, greed is a bastard don't wait to find out

The market will certainly have a correction, when the whales are full they will sell and then the bear market will come.
I don't know when that will happen perhaps as early as 2022 or right now.

No one can tell when the total bear market will happen but if the cryptocurrency market still replicate the old market momentum which usually happens after the Bitcoin block halving, the total bear market will happen when it after Christmas.

Why I think it will be so, Bitcoin will reach another new ATH price then and alot of investors will decide to sell their holding for better profit in other no miss the opportunity they had and this bearish will lead to total market correction/blood bath.

maybe this week bear market will occur, because BTC has made a new ATH price, so there will definitely be a correction for the market (bear market), but of course bear market that occurs this year will definitely recover quickly, because the market condition this year is very good (market cap continues to increase), so of course the price of cryptocurrency will increase very high again (bull market) after bear market occurs (market correction).

The uptrend only lasts for a year so I believe that it there will be another year for the bull run and then we might face the tragedy of the bear run. Right now, the hype is not yet over since people invest everything they have on digital asset such as bitcoin, crypto and NFT. Everyone has their profit from these activities

That is right BTC has reached its own ATH, but that doesn't mean the bear market will occur. None can predict when it will happen, l think this day is not near to us. If you see the price of other currencies like ETH, BNB, and other top altcoins. You can see that their prices are also getting up, most coins have made their own ATH this year, no exaggeration to say that this year would be the best for cryptocurrencies. l hope BTC will keep increasing and reach 70k. The bear market will not bring the good things, altcoin season will be with us a bit more time. Maybe after months, the bear market occurs.

I do not think that it will come anytime soon, but at the same time I do not believe that its long way away neither. We started this increase around October, it has been around 6 months or so, and that means its doing great right now, but I do not think that it will go another 6 months neither. I think we will keep going up until summer, and during sometime this summer we will start to see bitcoin having a bit of trouble going even higher, we have gone so much high these days that I do not think that we will have any similar increases again.

We have gone up about x6 and then some, if you look at previous year we were even under 10k so we can say we increased as much as x10, I do not think that we could ever go x10 this quickly ever again unless it drops super low which I think it won't. This is why it will have hard time going higher in the near future.
