You never know which is why it's important to use a platform with established track record and offers a buyer protection. Sellix.io doesn't have both of them, hence I do not recommend.



But then again trading such accounts would probably be a breach of TOS so it most likely won't help either.... even if you bridge their lack of buyer protection by using a payment method which has one.

Did you found him through the invites & account sub-forum? I think it's safer if you buy from a seller that has a thread and feedback. I used to do it in the past and fortunately, I didn't get scammed. If you don't find the stuff that you need you can create a new thread.

I found him randomly on the web, but I would try it, to buy something from him, he is offering NFA Minecraft accounts for just 2$ (via crypto), so if he will scam me, it will not be that much.

You forgot to account for the transaction fees, currently;
Ethereum - MED GAS PRICE 262 Gwei (~ $12.72)
Bitcoin - High priority 278 sat/vB (~ $22.10)

So you will not just be losing $2 but a lot more.

Have you checked out the feedback (https://sellix.io/MinecraftAcc/feedback) of the seller? It all seems simillar and is written at specific time frames just like any other fake feedback. Be careful.

I just bought from him, didn't receive an account, anything. He just scammed me. Never mind it was 8$, would u guys share with others that this seller is obviously a scammer. I can also provide you some screenshots of purchases, etc. Any advice on how can I report him directly to sellix? Thanks.

Most of Auto-Buy URLs digital products bitcoin/crypto are scam because most of these sites work to deliver coins from the seller to the buyer without providing an escrow (in other words, they care about them fees)
Scammer uses it because it gives him better legitimacy than writing, send me 5$ for XXX account.

If you want to sell or buy digital products, use Bitify.com or do not buy from them.

So hard to trust the user randomly found online maybe try to seek some feedback on where you found that guy since maybe there are costumers that can give a vouch on him if they legitimately purchase some goods to him. Also if you are still doubting better use escrow to have a guarantee that you can receive your purchase item and you will not became a victim of scams.


But if you trust him since there's no vouch found that can point how legit they are better pass and find another reliable seller.

No escrow service or payment going to be on hold, and if you buy it, you buy at your own risk.

sellix.io platform can't even help you, they send the payment to the seller.

It's up for you to decide if you want to push through.

You can report fraudulent acts to them but they won't report back to you in regards to their investigation lol. When you thought sellix.io couldn't get anymore lazy or should I say lousy? This pretty much allows them to ignore the fraud emails, and unless they nuke the account, you won't know if they actually investigated. Thanks sellix for protecting our privacy and security 😌

We labored to warn you, but I am quite disappointed that you didn't listen to our pieces of advice anyway.

One of the biggest red flags was the feedback left on the profile. 98% of it is fake. But I guess you learned your lesson now. Scammers are shameless, they can scam you even $1.
You can just create a scam accusation in this board  (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0)to warn others.

so no they did not run away, sellix most probably nuked the account after op reported the scammer which is good. The sad truth is ban evading isn't that hard and there are other platforms out there like this one that makes scamming easier for them  :'(

your easy 8 dollar is what making them up, they have army of alt accounts and many of fake shops that ready to use it for scam less than 1 dollar.
The other sad thing is that this scam does not cost them anything, while the value of their profits increases with the increase in the value of cryptocurrencies.
fighting them and stop them from have easy 8 dollar may made them stop.

Well, even a $5 or less still a pretty good amount and can be used to buy a meal and scammers wont hesitate to try to do their bad deeds even for such amount.
