There is no single answer, you can open coinmarketcap and look at the top 100 and you can choose. We need to look for fundamental altcoins, which have a high weight in the crypto industry. For example ETH BNB DOT TRX AVAX NEM NEAR GRT ADA UNI LINK XLM SOL NEO CAKE WAVES. This is not a complete list, of course it can be supplemented. But in my opinion these are violas in which there is a basis.

There are a lot of good alt coins to be bought right now. My all time favourite is still ETH. The price is quite high but it is such a strong coin that we should see new ATH soon. Another much talked about coin at the moment is DOGE coin. Some people say it is overvalued but it dropped recently 15% so maybe it is a good time to buy some soon. I would definitely keep checking the price for another drop to get involved.

I think ETH, BNB, TRX, and Cardano are very good to buy, but if now it's a little late because these altcoins have experienced a very significant price increase. So if you really want to buy now then you can buy it and hold it while waiting for the latest ATH

i want to recommend you to buy top coin which is ROSE, rose is very special for me and i'm sure in the end of this month the price of this coin gonna rise very high, maybe can reach new ATH because of mainnet upgrade.

Almost every altcoin got a discount and sale for this day so you choose those top altcoins except Ethereum, it has managed to get back to $2,500. But if you're having plans to hold it for longer term, you should be fine buying it while it's on that price range.

I may suggest XRP and Dogecoin, I guess they had both good if you will invest for the long term. I saw last week XRP is on the fire and last month Dogecoin too, I guess it will repeat again in the future. When the market is in a correction like this time to be honest analyzing a good asset for investment will be a little difficult.

In the past days, I've observed ETH and BNB's trend as a look for a chance to invest when there are some corrections but I have no luck. Their prices went high and planning to invest these coins is too risky that is why I look for another which I see is still in the uprising trend. However, it needs extra effort to find and definitely, we have to study their price history first. Not really easy work for us honestly, but if we wanted to have some assurance, we should have to do this otherwise we lose.

A lot of them a worthy for investment, though the price is a little bit high, and since we are looking for a coin that could give us ROI, there you can get some. Near is my choice. I have a good look for this coin. It's a feeling in my gut. Its market cap is still quite low and there have been several ventures using the technology. The community is also quite big so that it easily widespread the news whenever there is an update.

Hungry Bear is a good choice. Its less than a week old and is growing fast. I invested a small amount (200GBP) a few days ago its work almost 4k already, with plenty of room to grow. I recommend doing your own research but if you want fast profits then this might be the coin for you.

If you're looking for altcoins to invest think what you want to gain from it. If you want high risk and high reward investment, long term or maybe you want to gamble a bit.
High risk but possibly high reward would be XLM or some coins that recently lost a lot but before Bitcoin's crash were moving up.
Long term would be ETH or ADA. These coins are holding pretty high value now but in 2 years they are going to be much higher than today. If you're not afraid to wait you will profit.

Good idea, if you have some good amount of investment you can divert some of your assets, this downside correction really hurting the entire ecosystem of this market.

You refer nem? I heard that they gone for fork (with 1:1 rewards) in recent times hence the price of xem got halved. Did you find any chances to garb those free coins? (I am sorry I could not recall the name of new coin which was forked from XEM).

Before fork, I remember xem was trading above 1200 satoshi and right now it is trading only half of that hence your calculation of getting into $1.5 levels may get delayed as per fork. There is no such thing as "the best altcoin". There are really good projects in the market. You just need to do a good research about those projects and decide which coin to invest into.

i would say BNB token, it's been doing really good lately, and as we all know Binance is currently the best exchange for crypto, so i think BNB has a really bright future and it's also a safe investment, it could even beat ETH, so it's up to you, you can do more research too about it.

If you see how the markets goes bullish momentum, I keep my eyes in these altcoins such as BNB, DOT, LINK, VET but most especially I am rooting for XRP knowing that this is the only part of the top 5 rank cryptocurrency that haven't even reach its ATH.

I would have suggested BNB a few weeks ago, but now it looks heavily overpriced. On the other hand, ADA and DOT looks like the best alts to make the investment right now. They are about fairly priced and the acceptability and adoption is growing at a good pace. And lastly, stay away from shitcoins such as XRP and DOGE. A lot of people poured their hard earned money in to these coins and both of them have gone down in the last 2-3 days. XRP has gone from $2 to $1 in the last 10 days, and similarly during the last 3 days Doge has gone from $0.40 to $0.20.

Well you need to do your own research when investing but my strategy is to invest in microcaps and other altcoins before they moon. I'm buying CVP, UTNP, 0xMR, YETI, FARM. My portfolio is heavy with DeFi projects.

I was looking on some more risky altcoins. I mean at altcoins that use proof of space and time and proof of coverage. There I was looking on Helium and Chai. If that would work good those altcoins could moon.

Right now the best thing anyone can do is to wait for the market to correct. The last two days the market had a nose dive and it was good to see the markets in red after a very long time and if you invest during these times you will end up holding the coin for a very long time and hence the best option is to wait for the market to settle down and then plan on investing and not invest when the market is trying to take positions as it can go in either directions from this point.

Why $3000? Ethereum had an ATH of $1,300 back in 2018 and it took a long tome to reach those levels again. The current exchange rates represent a 80% increase from those levels. But Bitcoin prices now represent 150% increase when compared to the ATH levels of 2017. So at least when compared to Bitcoin, ETH has been a laggard. And ETH is increasingly facing competition from other platforms such as BSC and ADA. IMO, the future outlook for ETH doesn't look very bright.

Doge and BNB are among the profitable coins. I suggest you buy these two coins. doge is elon musk's favorite coin and he supports this coin. while bnb is a platform that is predicted to replace ethereum. the ethereum network is no longer reliable and many new projects prefer bsc. that's why in the future the bnb will be very valuable.

Agree, thers two altcoins are the most active coin recently, looks all have a good potential, BNB have Binace exchange behide its back, and Doge pump by elon musk's tweet.
But on the other hand, we must know that high profit means high risk, if you want these two, be preparing for high lose.

The problem with the "altcoin" word these days is that there are altcoins and there are projects that pose as altcoins. For example there are 2-3 new defi projects on BSC every single day, some of them actually do worth some money eventually, some of them are just pump and dump, and there are tons of them who are just rug pull (which is basically word for scam in BSC world) and steal everyone's money. Long story short we are talking about something that is profitable and that is why I think it is obvious that we are not going to be that great in the long run if we cannot see the difference.

Many coins in the market has been growing very well and making huge gains . Look at coins like Compound, it’s  a really good coin that has been growing for long now, and I don’t think that’s going to be the ending of the trend for thetokens, it’s definitely going to be continuing with the growth since we are yet to see the altcoins season. If you’re looking for good coins that you’re going to invest your money this year then you should likely choose that, and other coins like Ethereum which has also been growing too, then other includes Decentraland, and STORJ.

You can go with the top 100 in coinmarketcap, or just do your own research and invest in solid projects. It doesn't have to be in the top 100 though. You can even check a couple of promising ICOs if you want to get a fast profit. I think projects build around BSC are better than the ones using the eth network. Because, actually, eth network has huge fees which turn investors off. Check the upcoming Mocktail finance project if you want to expand your investment.

Not sure whose scrambling to be 2nd of top coin chart, cause AFAIK it has always been Ethereum, eth marketcap is still off bnb's marketcap so for now no point comparing both, Ethereum will still be 2nd place  :P, that aside both eth and bnb are both good for investments also with some top 20 cryptocurrencies like solana, ada, Polkadot, all these are coins that can give good returns, although if I'm asked to choose one its definitely going to be Polkadot (DOT) it's greatly undervalued.

if you are asking for the best altcoin/s, ETH and BNB is the answer (just for me). Being on the top is the way to prove it but if you were asking which coin is more profitable? That is somewhat different and that is because we have to strategically do it. Because not only buying a known and valuable coin could give us a big profit but also it depends on the market situation just like in these days. Some coins unexpectedly shooting up high x20,x100, if we invested those coins before, we absolutely have a huge gain more than that BNB and ETH.

Stay away from meme-coins like plague. From what I have seen during the last 9 years, I would say that hype alone can't keep a cryptocurrency afloat. Despite the increase in market cap and exchange rates, Dogecoin has seen no significant improvement in acceptability. Even now there are very few online stores which accept Doge as a mode of payment. The transaction fee is low. But Doge is not considered as a secure payment method. And it can't really compete with coins such as LTC or BCH in the small payments market.

I'd say it's not good to pick some altcoins yet, right now Bitcoin move was undecided and if something happens again and it goes down most alts will be the one to suffer even this large market cap altcoins.
