I do see most bitcoiners are always emphasizing about "the importance of buying BTC at dips" but this avatar depicts all those with respect to current bitcoin market scenario..

Dang, I just woke up and realized that bitcoin had fallen below $50k because of reading this thread!  I wouldn't have noticed pooya87's avatar, as I have them all blocked, but I'd say he's right on the money with that one.  And I agree with you, OP, about the "buying the dip" statement.  Oh, I would if I could but alas I'm broke--I'm always broke when bitcoin is a bargain for some reason.  I don't think for one minute that the bitcoin euphoria is over.

about the "buying the dip" statement.
Those no coiners will always panic and will not buy even if it falls down to $3k LOL

It's the nature of people who are too afraid to think out of the box.
Back in 2018 when BTC price was $19k plus some people thought it's too high, they waited for the price to drop. Then when market starts to panic and price dropped all the way down to $3.2Kish. Those same people were scared that if they aboard and what if price falls more.

Price started to recover and stabled around at $8k to $10k. The same group of people were thinking price will drop again and then they will buy. We had $13kish and they started to say price is too high. Then least year in early pandemic (March 20) when price dropped below $4k they got scared again and did not buy.

The price started to recover and crossed the last ATH and then a few days ago it was above $64k. Those group of people were thinking it's now too high. And now when it dropped below $50k, they must be thinking to let it go down more.

Long story short, these side liners will never be in the game but they will watch from the sideline. This deep is useful for people who are already in Bitcoin.

Yeah nice avatar @pooya87 😉

Last time it was under $4k I joked that I should take a second mortgage on the house, hahaha!   :'( :'( :'(

Oddly enough this is a paradox ... I also vividly remember two or three times in my life when common sense told me to buy bitcoins now, but this or that way, there were always several conflicting reasons to postpone the purchase, (including the reason you mentioned).

As for the avatar, I would prefer that pooya87 get into the habit of editing his avatar as the price of Bitcoin changes, then maybe we will soon see a new hype on the forum, (something in the spirit of glowing red eyes, a flash mob dedicated to Bitcoin for $100,000).  ::)

You wish you would. People will call you crazy even you will have a heavy chest but holding it and waiting for it to hit $100k is an experience to share with others. My brother the dude got a perfect info graph for all of us.

I was offline since 22 and see that logo before checking coinmarketcap. design is good and it should not be taken as investing advice but as an opportunity to get some profit for the long term.
old members know the nature of bitcoin. newbies often have a weak hands and sell currencies when we have a good discount.

A year ago, when that happened, my wife said we should buy more. I should have listened O0
My reasoning was: we have enough exposure to Bitcoin, and some asset diversification is good.

I am in a situation similar to LoyceV... I won't put more money  until I have rebalanced my portfolio a little bit. Unless if we have a huge discount like 70% off lol

I made a few sells while above 55-60, about 5% of my portfolio, just to buy back in case we have a huge discount.

But for people who wants to get exposure to bitcoin, certainly we have a buying opportunity here.

Last week when it dipped down to about $55k my son asked me if he should buy, here was my answer:

If you want to make a quick buck, no.
If you want to hold bitcoin for the long haul and use it as a currency, then there is no wrong time to buy.  But then, you always BTFD!
